Very nice lens. Great for using on far subjects and zooming in real close. Very easy to change out and use.

I would highly recommend getting this lens with your camera purchase. I had not intended to, but the Best Buy sales person said I would be glad I did. She was right. I shot an eagle on it's nest a ways out. It came out a little blurry when blown up, but this is due to the fact that the tripod I have is an inexpensive one. That will probably be the next purchase.

This lens is very high quality. The pictures are great. Zooms to very far distances. Great for my job!

I really haven't used this yet but I have tried it on my Nikon D3200 and tried its range out and wow this is what paparazzi have to use. I could look in my neighbors windows...scary I know, but my family lives next door lol. When my son starts little league this lens will definitely come in handy to get those out field shots. I would say if your investing a good chunk of money on a great camera that this addition will only add to your investment!

It is great lens for potrait and nature photos. It gives u lot more detail in photo. I really love to take photos with this lens. Bestbuy is great place to buy with great price.

Before I left for Europe, I took some wildlife shots. We have a lot of Eagles, hawks, and falcons around here. The one shot that convinced me of quality was the young falcon I shot at max distance. No tripod, just leaning on a branch. Crystal clear, even when blowing up the picture to 8x10. You could see clearly the tufts of baby feathers that were still on the bird. It looked as if I were up in the trees a few feet away.

I got this lens as a gift and it is great. Very easy to use and the pictures turn out amazing

Overall a very good choice for the Nikon camera. The lens is easy to zoom while shooting and the auto focus is a nice feature. When shooting multiple fast moving shots, sometimes had to play with the focus sensor to get it right. This was a minor concern compared to the overall ease of use. Once used to the sensors showing in the view finder that control auto focus, it became easier to make it work.

this lens is great. I use it all the time and prefer it for photos with finer details. Good price for the value. Plus, you can use it for years to come since Nikon hasn't changed their body since it has been released.

I have been trying to find a lens for months for my Nikon d40 and this is the first I've found that can reach out and touch something for my budget. I would absolutely recomend this to anyone that loves to shoot outdoors, close ups, and for sporting events. I do not regret this purchase at all.
