We purchased this camera before going to London/ Scotland on vacation. It was easy to use and takes very good pictures. It is easy to set up and downloads to our laptops extremely easy.

The Nikon Coolpix is so easy to use. It takes great photos. Makes you look like your a professional photographer. I love it. Great price too. I would recommend it. Very easy to use.

Wonderful clarity for pictures and have found it great for a beginner user. I found it easier to use and will admit I wanted for the color. :)

best camera ever ! it has high resolution pictures! you can zoom in super far on things and the camera is perfect size because its not to big and its not to small.

bought this camera to take pictures at a sunset wedding outside. great pictures and easy to use. was able to catch many candid shots. nice to use the viewfinder when it is sunny.

Takes very good and clear pictures. Am just venturing into photography so needed something not too expensive to cut my teeth with. I would give this a 5 except for the fact that it uses AA batteries.

I am most pleased with this camera. It is very comfortable to hold. The fle adjustable viewfinder is a nice touch. Also like the bluetooth feature to transfer directly to my iPad.

I absolutely adore this camera! Nikon has always had good levels of cameras and while I wanted more than a point n click like I've always almost gotten but I wasn't quite sure if I was ready for a Dslr, this bridge camera is perfect! Great settings, great quality, camera strap is sturdy (wish it came with a wrist strap option but you can find them elsewhere), has a solid weight to it but not super heavy. AMAZING zoom! 80x, I get EXTREME close up shots of the moon, im talking about good pics of craters on the moon (it's basically like a telescope!). TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!!

Nikon - COOLPIX B500 is the perfect startup camera. It generates excellent images and provides flexibility (AA batteries or AA nicad rechargeable compatibility; hand held or standard tripod mountable; electronic image transfer or insert microSD/microSDHC combo card from camera into pc/laptop/tablet). It has combo lens ( approx 24mm to approx 190mm). The main negative is the slower auto focus speed.

Gave to my nephew as a present and he loves it. It's his first digital cameral and it's not complicated for a beginner. Pictures turn out great

Our children of various ages were able to use the camera without any issues. I personally love to read the instructions prior to use. We use it most for sporting events. The clarity that we get with the zoom and sport feature allow us to capture every moment of the baseball pitch, basketball shot and even the facial expressions of our opponents lol.
