Camera has taken excellent pictures. Night sky pictures were easy to take. Leaves of trees in the dark came out green with star fields behind, without even using the longest exposure settings. Getting remote photography to work with my phone took quite some time to get working, and is still a bit flaky. So many capabilities, it takes quite some time to understand and use. Camera has significantly higher resolution than any reasonably priced lens. Point spread function of most are more than a few pixels.

Can’t argue with what you get for your money with this camera. I understand there are better cameras out there but as a nonprofessional i don’t need a 5,000 dollar camera. This will get you great shots and not put you behind on the mortgage

Bought this camera for my wife’s birthday. The only problem I see, is it will do just about anything so the volume of interface possibilities can be a bit overwhelming. But that’s a good thing right? A+

This was my first DSLR. I can not believe how much better pictures are when taken with my D5600 than with my iPhone. I'm an amateur so there are many functions and settings I have yet to learn, but set on auto, it takes pictures better than I have ever taken before. I am very pleased with it.

I upgraded from the 5300 to the Nikon D5600 and I couldn't have made a better choice. This camera has superior recording capabilities. Being an HD camera it allows for much greater clarity and top quality recording, also. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I love my Nikon. I’ve taken several photos with this small camera. Purchased the geek squad protection and saved my life a year later when I needed it. Would recommend as a starter camera.

Good Beginner Camera

It is a good beginner camera.
When it comes to clicking photos it is great but the interface is old and sluggish and complicated to understand.
There is no way I can see what percentage of battery is remaining.
In general I cannot see focal length in viewfinder.
But it is not a bad buy at this price, I got it along with two lenses 18-55 and 70-300 for 900 + taxes
