Nikon D7200
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right off the back, I am not a pro :) I still consider myself an amateur, or some call me a seasoned amateur. I upgraded from a Nikon D3200 to the D7200, because I felt ready for a more advance DSLR. And boy is this camera advance from the D3200. I have had it for more then a month, and I am still learning the camera. The settings, options, and even the buttons alone have so much to offer for your pictures, I am still trying to rap my head around it. I will say this much, if you have a D3***'s or you have a D5*** camera, this is one that you would want to upgrade to. I did my research before buying this, and knew what I wanted, and this had everything and more :) I don't really know if this review made since or even helped, but I will say this, do your research. I do know everyone is different.

Nikon hits it out of the ballpark with the d7200
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My family loves the results of the pictures taken with the d7200. We stepped up from the 5100. Amazing difference in quality/exposure and low light photography. My daughter will be using this for college. Her expectations and enthusiasm have increased due to the abilities of the camera. If you are a good photographer, the Nikon d7200 will make you a better one due to its capabilities! I can't wait to see how Nikon will out do themselves with the upcoming d500! I did my homework before buying the camera. Good thing, cause the good folks at BB are only good at answering limited questions about the camera. Want more details, look for pro reviews online or elsewhere. But BB did have the product locally on hand. Thanks Best Buy!

Happy Camper, Doing Happy Dance
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always loved popping off a few photos from time to time, and some people have said that I have a decent eye, so to celebrate my retirement and the freedom to travel a little I thought I would invest in the best gear I could (gulp) afford. I went with the D7200 because it offers just what I want without the price tag of pro gear. As for my lens I went with the 28-300 3.5 .... Yeah I know not cheap, but if you think about it why carry 2 or 3 lenses to do the work of one general purpose heavy hitter? Anyway, I have included a couple of initial photo's that I shot, I guess this is what could be called my first light with the D7200. I am happy, but the one thing I would like to warn yall about is when you step up in class, you step up in weight! That quickly becomes a non issue, but it took me aback a little at first. Not the most techie review I know, but have fun, and happy shooting!

Great upgrade from 5100
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am upgrading from a d5100. I like the wifi capabilities with the NFS connection. The function buttons are a nice addition. So far I have not missed the articulating back screen. The dual card slot is nice, but not something that is a must have for me. The body is water resistant (big plus), but it is also bigger in size than my old d5100. This is not a big deal, but it is noticeable. I do find myself spending less time in post with the D7200. I shoot mostly landscape, architecture, and wildlife.

Excellent DX Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Image quality is sharp and excellent, focusing is fast inspite the focus point is not spread out, very good in low light you can put to higher ISO not noticing any noise especially when you put a good glass (F1.4-F2.8). Video is much improved than the D7100 because it has a new processor, need articulating monitor, need to improve the Wi-fi connection and the program to any smart device. Overall it's an excellent DX camera.

Great Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been thinking about upgrading from my D90 to a newer body with some additional functions. Nikon put the D7200 on sale and Best Buy was honoring that price. I wanted to stay with a crop camera (DX in Nikon) and the D500 was just too pricey for me and the D7500 didn't offer things that I wanted so I went for the D7200. So far it is a great camera and it works with the lenses I already owned and should work from lenses I have from Nikon film days which is something the D90 did not do. The D7200 offers a screw drive for older AF lenses, weather sealing, a lip on the mount to use metering with older Nikon compatible lenses and has 2 SD card slots which may or may not be important to someone, my D90 only has 1 so not a big deal to me. It is also at the sale price a bargain IMO, it was about 1/2 the price of the D500. It certainly is a camera worth considering if you want a Nikon DX body and can afford the extra in price over the lower bodies and can't afford the higher end bodies.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Far surpassed any of my expectations!! Amazing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Nikon dslr camera and this d7200 shoots high quality photos like the higher end Nikon cameras. Well of course with a good prime lens makes a difference. It's well worth the money for people wanting to shoot more like pros. Trust me don't spend money on higher end full frame Nikon cameras! Save that extra money and buy some prime lens for the Nikon D7200. :)

Excellent Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The D7200 is a fantastic follow up to the D7100. With the new Exspeed 4 processor, additional buffer storage for high speed shooting, and built in wifi, you can't go wrong. Outstanding image quality as expected from Nikon. Highly Recommended

Great upgrade from a Nikon D 90
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have this about a week now and love it. So much more solid than the D90. Was a little confused on the focusing points, but found a video on Youtube and found that it is very easy to do. Took a couple of shots in the garden and I'll share those. The ISO range is super compared to the D90.

Rock Solid
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is nothing about this camera that can be knocked. It is exactly what it is advertised to be and produces very well in low light. The DX format is a benefit when using long lenses and the 24MP gives very sharp photos.

Great DSLR camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a photo enthusiast not professional at all. I had a Nikon D90 that I used mostly in Auto mode, like it was a point and shoot camera. I got interested in learning manual mode and after a lot of practice began to understand how to get proper exposure in manual mode. I did some research and decided to upgrade cameras to the Nikon D7200 and I love this camera! It takes great photos and it's easy to navigate the menus and it has tons of features. Great camera!

Best camera I've ever owned.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to replace my Nikon D-90. If you are thinking of replacing a 12.1 DX Nikon don't hold off any longer. This camera is amazing. You will want to read the user's manual to take advantage of all the up-grades. The files are large and you may need a bigger external hard drive with USB3! All my lens' seem much better on this body! Of course, it's really the new sensor that is now resolving all those details.
