Having labored over flash synchronization issues in the past, I can say this Nikon SB-5000 meets all my needs without the hassle of trying to get daytime function and line of sight synch arranged. The radio frequency activation with the Nikon Z6 truly is a revolutionary advancement making photography fun again.

Great flash for an experienced photographer. Very intuitive but just think the manual is over 100 pages. If you are lookin for just a point and shoot type this is not for you and at almost $600.00 you probably figured that out

It works very good,only problem I have is the white reflector comes out very easily,Nikon should fix this

This is probably the best Nikon flash I have used since the SB-800. It recycles faster than the SB-900 and SB-910 and have not had any issues in the 2 months I have been using it.

Great light for the still shots that we have to take. This lights is great as we have other lights in the room and this assist in blending them. Saves us a lot of time when we use this Flash to Blend the light.

Gives the perfect amount of light when taking pictures at dusk or in the evening. Great addition to my camera accessory collection!

I went picked this up. . Seems work fine. I ordered the wireless connection. Works great use it on my D500 Havent used on other camera yet

This is an amazing flash. Multiple levels of flash adjustment. Be advised, this flash is not for the entry level photographer. Enjoy and read up!

I was a little behind in technology with my SB 700 which is a great flash unit, the SB5000 opens a much broader reach in flash photography

I use this with the Nikon 24-70 lens as well as a 50mm 1.8. They work hand in hand with good flash output.

If you can afford it...go for it You won’t regret it

i had a sb-500 flash and returned it for this one. it has so many functions that sb-500 didn't worth every dollar

This flash had great reviews and the one my wife really wanted for real estate photography. The one ordered from BB didn't arrive on time so I had to source elsewhere but my wife said it's perfect
