I pair this with a nikon D7000 and the combo takes near-perfect pics for me. this is a very good, flexible and smart flash with a number of capabilities and features that will surprise you if you are a novice enthusiast like I am. I have not tested any remote capability and have only used the flash mounted on the camera.

I found this flash to be good as a primary light source and a fill light source. I use it often to fill shadows in my compositions as well lighting subject matter that is in the dark.

It's a great flash! Ready to use right out of the box and user friendly for the most part. Still trying to get a chance to play around with it to see what it can really do

For the size of the SB700, it is a great little unit that delivers as advertised. The included filter set is very convenient for matching ambient light colors and usually provides an adequate match to temperature.

It works great and just connect to the camera and shoot. It made a big difference in the quality of the photo and color contrast.

Everything about it was easy to use. Took it on a vacation just in case built in flash wasn't enough. Took xtra care with battery door after reading other reviews.

Love this flash! It works great with my Nikon D7000. I will admit that it does take a bit of learning on how to get it to sync wirelessly. But once this is accomplished it gives you so many options.

This flash works great! It's very flexible and not too heavy. It's easy to learn. The only thing I would say is always carry extra batteries, when the batteries start dying the picture taking slows.

Bought this flash for indoor shooting for a wedding. Couldn't be any happier, setting were ez to use and set. Quick guides really help. Love it, hope to learn more about it's features

I use this for personal and professional use and it has performed great. Good battery life and can use seperately or in a group.

My 1st flash and its a great one. I was debating on going with a nock off brand but after seeing a friend's photos with a SB600 I was convinced to get one.

As I said these make for excellent side fill flashes, the 3 Nikon flashes I have, basically do everything I want to do.

Debated which flash to get to augment the on-camera flash and couldn't be happier with the 700. I use it for birding and its' performance has been excellent.
