Looking for my first additional Flash. Just started using it but it hooked up to my older dx40 like a charm.

The sync and the refresh time of the flash is great. I had the flash refreshed back in less than 8sec's on average. The battery life is pretty descent, I use the Kirkland AA, do almost the same job as the Expensive Duracell Quantum

Bought this to replace my dead sb600. It has some updated bells and whistles, but I have not yet had the chance to put it through its paces. I was concerned it would not be fully functional with my D80, but so far I have not had any compatibility issues.

Bought it for an engagement photo shoot when my other one died. It’s Nikon so of course it works great.

yes there are cheeper flashes but none assay to learn, does all you need and more. matches great to the nikon d7200 or any of them

I use this flash on my d5100 and it is basically a plug and play flash. There isn't much this flash wont due.

for a medium size flash it is really good. This flash does great lighting without having to use the cheap flash on my camera.

Great flash, light weight and compact so shots are easy to make. Cost is reasonable for the high performance value of this flash

This flash was purchased as a second flash to accompany the first one that I've owned for a year. This unit is user friendly and the flash is consistent. The one thing that I would improve on is recycle time. Even with fresh batteries, I wish that it was just a little faster.

What can I say it's a Nikon! A lot less money than the SB 910. Smaller and less obtrusive than the 910. Works great. No overheating problems!

This is a great flash. I got it instead of the 910 because I knew I wasn't going to even know how to handle all the options on the 700. It really worked well with my limited knowledge, but I know there is SO MUCH MORE I can do with it.
