A bit pricey but it’s definitely top notch. Using with a Nikon D850 and I love it. Easy to use and set up. I’m impressed with the quality of pictures when using this. It really helped maximize the potential of the D850!

Greatly improved pictures due to ability to rotate the head and bounce the flash towards subject and not have to use direct light. Fast recharge time. Filters and diffuser included with unit work well. Unit has a lot of power. Userfriendly.

I bought this flash to attach to my Nikon D3200 specifically to shoot indoor shots and weddings with. Its very easy to use, works great and I love the filters it comes with. Don't spend money on the SB900. This flash is amazing.

I bought this flash for my Nikon D7100. It works beautifully with the camera. I really enjoy using it off camera in remote mode. The manual settings are easy to configure and he LCD screen is nice and bright. The only down side is that it does not have a port for wireless triggers.

Works great. With TTL I can just shoot and not worry about settings. Rotating head lets you bounce light off of available surfaces for more natural look. This flash can act as a master for other flashes too, like the old SB600.

I bought this to use with my D90 and it works great. It is much better than the built in flash on the camera. The pictures are much brighter and shutter speeds are faster.

I purchased the SB-700 AF Speedlight External Flash a couple of weeks ago. At that time, I also purchased the Nikon D7100 camera. Smart choices. Last Saturday, I shot a lot of pictures at Drayton Hall in Charleston, SC. It was a cold, dreary, overcast day. The ocasion was a memorial serv, so good pictures were important. Used the SB-700 flash outside and inside. Pictures turned out beautiful. I was so pleased that I had bought the SB-700 and the D7100. Fantastic pair!!!!!!

I bought this speedlight to use with my new d7500 and al I can say it's easy to use and offers a great performance . Thinking of buying a second one !!

This is my first external flash for use on my first DSLR camera, so that hopefully provides a basis for where I am coming from with this review. The built-in flash on my Nikon D5200 is certainly better than nothing but this flash, the SB-700, literally blows it away. The light that this flash provides is amazing, and having the ability to bounce the flash off of the ceiling makes all the difference. And the fact that the flash articulates both up & down and side-to-side makes it so incredibly useful when shooting with the camera on its side (portrait mode). Another use for the side-to-side articulation that I don't recall reading about anywhere is when I am photographing something that is low to the ground, such as an infant crawling on the floor or an Xmas train setup. If the flash head only articulated up & down it wouldn't allow the flash to bounce off of the ceiling if the camera is pointed pretty much straight down, but because it rotates side-to-side I can rotate it backwards and then articulate it so that when the camera is pointing down the flash is still facing 'up' at the ceiling, pretty cool and very useful! I would not hesitate to recommend this flash to a friend!

Was an intimidating purchase but she is not to hard to figure out really makes a difference in flash and lower flash recharge downtimes on the camera..

For my purposes, this flash is a win! I am nowhere near a professional photographer but I do enjoy quality product which helps me realize my artistic vision. A longtime fan of Nikon, I have always had my eye on this flash. I saw the opportunity to upgrade when I went mirrorless so I took a chance. I have not regretted my decision. A very instinctual lens to use, I felt like I didn't need to read the manual too much.

Works great and easy to use. Does 85% of what you need a flash to do or have. Doesn't accept the battery pack and doesn't quite have the power of the sb910 guess that's about 85/90% . For most folks it's 100% great.

I used the flash with my new Nikon D7100 at a candle lighting ceremony and the flash worked perfect! Didn’t over saturate the shot with light. Caught the moment and the whole mood perfectly. Shot over 350 pictures with 4 “AA” batteries. This flash versatility is amazing because of the ability to not only tilt head up but also turn it left and right to hide shadows. It also has very easy to read display. A professional type flash for the novice, works great right out of the box! Pricey but worth it in the long run!

This is my 2nd flash & all time favorite. I am still in awe at how fast it is. I have had very few times where it didn't fire. I LOVE how easily it slides on/off camera & the easy switch lock is perfection. I was a little nervous that it would wiggle, that the switch wouldn't hold tight enough, but it's perfectly stable with no wiggle room. I use 3-4x a week for buisness (& photographing my 2yr old) & I couldn't be happier. Still performs like it did when I took it out of the box & have already had it 2 months. Perfect. Highly recommend. And THANK YOU Best Buy for price matching this item, giving an even better deal!! :-)

This is a great flash. Use on or off camera. Can act as command or controlled flash. Has built in bounce card, and has other accessories to control your flash.
