I bought this to replace an existing unit that I installed 11 years ago. It works just fine, easy to install. But beware that even though it is advertised as a repeater SYSTEM, the basic unit only includes the unit and the power supply, but not the IR receiver or mini blasters, which have to be purchased separately or there is a complete package including all of the above available.
