I loved this movie. I thought that it was so funny. A human mind in a cat body trying to communicate with humans and trying to do human activities.

Very funny which teaches a Lesson to the dad in a very funny way. A humerus and delightful movie for the whole family.

I always pay attention to films which Kevin Spacey stars in - his character portrayals enrich the movie experience and, with his width and depth as an actor, you can always count on a great performance. From a comedic standpoint, it doesn't stretch his ability but rather allows his acting ability to add to the film. And, what film isn't interesting without Christopher Walken - he just isn't used enough. My 7 year-old granddaughter, who has her own cats, thoroughly enjoyed this movie, since she thought the view from the cat's side as expressed by someone in the cat, kept her attention with grins all around.

Critics are divided about this movie and I think it has to do with it being judged even prior to being seen. It has a movie with a heart but you have to be willing to accept the movie's premise. Spacey delivers as usual in this quirky movie about a man whose accident turned him into a cat and truly sees the world as he should. In order to really enjoy the movie, be open minded for what it's about and it actually is a fun movie. The story is not unique but nevertheless fun and it's an enjoyable movie all in all.

    Ironically Best Movie of 2016!

This is truly a must watch! Buy it now, its purrfect! With raving reviews like: "An entirely forgettable movie. Who thought it would be a good a idea?" "A Frankenstein's monster of Hollywood's worst instincts, a movie made with a math formula where its vision should have been. The fact of the matter is that you're going to need nine wines to endure "Nine Lives."" "Clearly aimed at a tween audience, this purported feline comedy is far from purr-fect." Clearly, its the year's best movie, go out and see it today!

    Not bad for a remake

This is just another remake of the older movie. Think of the movie Vice Versa, or Freaky Friday, only with an animal. Kevin Spacey does a decent job at playing the part and the part is a cat. For all it's quirky one liners and throw backs to the older movies, it's decent for a lower budget film. I mean acting only get's you so far with a movie dependent as the cat as the main character. Not bad for the script given.

    Seamless reality-animation footage

Although this is yet another knockoff of past 'human becomes animal' movies, it was well done and pretty seamless when combining the animation and reality footage. Sometimes the cat seemed a little too animated, but other than that it was well done. The storyline is predictable because we've all seen it before, but it was entertaining nonetheless and we will watch it again. It was good, not great.

Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Garner, and Christopher Walken were all delightful in this cute cat movie! (And, I am not even a real "cat person".) They didn't overplay their roles and make the movie ridiculous and tacky. It was nice to see such quality actors/actress do a cute movie about a cat.for kids and adults alike!

Watched this a few days ago, and it was pretty entertaining. If you're a cat lover, you should get a kick out of it. Similar to "Freaky Friday," but with a cat. There were a couple of scenes that might be a little intense for very young viewers, but overall this was a good family movie.

What a darling, sweet, & clever movie! It is in the style of Shaggy DA with Tim Allen. It has a very nice theme & morale to it; family friendly! The "Making of..." was particularly interesting & quite a challenge as they used several live cats; not just CG action. I'm looking forward to watching it again soon with other family members.

I was surprised to watch this movie because the story wasn't what I thought it would be from what I saw of the previews. But overall, I didn't mind the "moral" of the story. And enjoyed watching Christopher Walkin in a totally different movie role. The cat was fantastic & funny.

I bought this on sale expecting the worst as the previews didn't do much for me. Kids wanted it so we bought it and gave it a try. Pleasantly surprised at actually how good and funny it was. We all actually really liked it and there's a couple big name actors in it which helps also. If your on the fence like I was I would say give it a go

I heard mixed reviews about this movie but because I like cats and I think Christopher Walken is a good actor I decided to purchase this movie and as it turned out the whole family enjoyed it. It also has a good message for us and at the same time entertaining

I didn't know what to expect going in, but this is a fun and funny take on an older story idea! The roles seem well-cast, and although some of the material is pretty heavy, the overall film is light-hearted and fun, with a very good message. Recommended!

I got this movie for my wife as she liked what she saw from the movie trailers. We both enjoyed the movie however I feel it's a movie I may not watch often. I enjoyed Christopher Walken in this movie. In a way, his role reminded me a lot of the movie Click.

Even though this went in and out of the theaters, I have to admit that it is very well done. Perhaps, the critics didn't stay to see the entire movie and just thought - oh well it's a cat movie. Kevin Spacey and Christopher Walken - count me in. Meow.

Great "karma" movie for the entire family. The hero of the movie is a wayward dad who is focused on his job and loses touch with his family. Threw a twist of fate, the hero takes the place of a cat that is child's birthday gift. Will not tell the ending as I do not want to spoil it. The entire family will enjoy!

I was concerned about wanting to gouge my eyes out while watching this, but it wasn't as bad as I had feared. I must say, it's hard for me to watch Kevin Spacey in a family film whenever I'm used to him being a ruthless killer in "House of Cards."
