There's quite a few different ninja blenders around the same price point. I did a little research and decided to go with the Duo Micro-Juice Blender. Its a large capacity, plenty of settings, a nice front interface, has sealing tech, juices, and came with the blender cup. Its pretty loud, its pretty tall, but its built well and doesn't leak doesn't shake seals tight. I have nothing to compare it to but I am happy with my purchase.

We have had an expensive juicer, and two blenders before this, one was less expensive and one was more. The first day we got it, the Ninja Blender surprised us and quickly became our favorite. Design I'll start at the base and work up. - One of the first things we noticed was the base has suction cups on the feet. What a great idea. Our previous blender would tend to move around and may have been more noisy because it wouldn't stay in place. The suction cups work well to hold the Ninja in place. - The front face, where the controls are is flat, so it's easy to wipe off any liquid. - There is also a small display. This will count down, often more than once, depending on what you make but it gives you an idea of how long you have to go. For instance it will time a pulse cycle down to 0 and then start over again with another cycle. I love having a timer. You'll get used to how many cycles there are for different modes too and it only seems to be a few. - The pitcher twists and, with an easy snap, locks into place. It stays attached and it will be correctly connected every time. There are easy to see arrows to make sure you are putting it on the right way. - The lid also locks in place. Our previous blenders either needed to be held down at least sometimes when blending or they seemed like they did. With the Ninja Blender Duo, that's not a problem. The lid will stay firmly in place. It's easy to work with but attaches firmly. Very well designed! Not only that, but you can't even use the blender without the lid on correctly. In fact, depending on what attachments are on, different buttons light up on the front, showing you which options are available with the given attachments. To me all of this makes it a very impressively engineered piece of equipment. Features You'll find the following "Auto-IQ" settings on the front panel: Extract, Smoothie, Frozen Drink, Puree, Ice Cream, and Dressing. There is also a Drink Saver button I'll talk about later. Along with those there are three buttons for the standard Pulse, Low, and High options. I'm going to highlight the three key features that I see this device having. It can behave as a Blender, a Juicer, or a Single Serve drink maker. - As a Blender, it's my favorite I've used. I get a consistently smooth blend every time. Please see the attached picture that shows the thickness and consistency of the texture that I get when making my favorite, banana, strawberry, and orange juice smoothie. I've made this with our older blenders but neither one got it so perfectly, consistently blended through and through. Here's how I make it: - Start with ice (I don't measure) - Put in half a container of frozen OJ concentrate (the smaller cardboard can size if you know what I mean) - Put in a banana - Add 5 strawberries - Add some water, maybe 8oz - On the Ninja Blender Duo use the "Smoothie" Auto-IQ setting You'll see the result of the above in my picture to the show texture. It's thick and though it may look lumpy it's perfectly smooth in the mouth. - As a Juicer we were happily surprised. When we did juicing for a time we liked it but it was so expensive because it took so much fruit to make a lot of juice and with most juicers you end up throwing out a lot of the actual juice. This basically turns everything in to a liquid. This is great because then you're not losing the fiber from the fruits that you do with conventional juicing. It does make a thinker juice but it's smooth and you could always water it down. We made orange juice by the recipe included in the box and it was fine. It wasn't very sweet, probably because it had water from ice as well as all the fiber mixed in with it. It was also sort of thick but not like orange juice with pulp. You may or may not like it but to me this was good because you can consume more of the fruit or fruits this way. Of course for some they need to juice to get the highest concentrate of vitamins possible. If that's you, you probably don't want to use this as a juicer as you'll get all the fiber with it. - As a Single Serve drink maker it's excellent because not only do you get great blending right in a single serve cup with a nice lid but this has the advantage of the "Drink Saver" button. This activates a vacuum to remove the air from the cup so your drink will stay fresh longer! You can also use the Drink Saver with the pitcher. I'm sure this you can do far more with the Ninja Blender Duo but that's what I wanted to highlight for you. Value This doesn't just do a lot. It does a lot well! We were happy with how it blended everything. We did lots of different combinations of fruit, veggies, frozen fruit, and ice. The results were always excellent. Well, some of our concoctions were less tasty than others but the blender blended them just as perfectly:) The price for this blender is incredible considering everything it does and how well it does everything. I'm not sure you could get more bang for the buck from any blender! One last note, while it's sort of a 72oz blender, the liquid fill line is at 64oz. We didn't realize that until we opened it and actually read that on the pitcher.

Makes a Great Addition To My Kitchen

My friends and I love drinking organic drinks. I had a few friends over and we decided to make a frozen drink, smoothie, and then juice. First, we made a non-alcoholic beverage consisting of mango, cucumber, apple, ice, water, and cinnamon. The instructions say that when placing the pitcher on the blender, it will be able to identify when the pitcher is secure. When placing the pitcher on the blender, I had done it incorrectly. Once secured, the blender was able to identify the corrected position and the settings appeared. When the item is not secure, the settings will not light up. I pressed the Frozen Drink button and the Ninja began to blend. There is a timer that comes on counting down to when the drink will be ready. All you have to do is press the pulse, low, or high settings and the Ninja will continue to do the work for you. All the items blended pretty well. There were a few pieces of the mango left in the frozen drink, but it wasn't that noticeable and it tasted pretty good. The next item we made was a smoothie. The smoothie consisted of cucumber, blueberries, tropical kiwi, spinach, yogurt, ice, water, and cinnamon. We used the on the go cup. I would recommend cutting the pieces down smaller in size when using the on the go cup. The final item we made was juice. The juice consisted of spinach, cucumber, apple, ice, and water only. I pressed the extract button when making the juice and Ninja blended it fairly quickly. No remnants remained, it was pure juice. My friends and I enjoyed the beverages and agreed that this would come in handy when going to work, school, or just having a gathering at home. Pros: Can tell when the pitcher or on the go cup is in place. There is a timer that lets you know how long it will take to blend. The machine does most of the work, with a few simple touches of a button. The Vacum Seal button helps to keep the drinks fresher for a longer period of time. That is a bonus! Cons: Slightly loud. Other than that, I will continue to use it for myself and when having guests over. Can't wait to try the icecream setting!

This blender is very well made and represents itself like a professional blender. I have made a few different types of beverages with it and I still have not learned or used all the features this blender has to offer. I think you will be surprised with the quality of this blender as it is very well built which you can tell as soon as you take it out of the box. Our household normally makes smoothies on a weekly basis with the occasional milkshake. The front panel has tons of options that are simple to use buy are still sophisticated. Per the documentation that came with the blender, each mode like milkshake or smoothie, etc. states that its blending mode was chef inspired. You wont understand until you hit a button and watch what happens. For example if you hit smoothie the blender will automatically start blending at different rates of speeds, it will start and stop, it will blend for short and long periods of times. The blender will also count down how long it will take till its complete. Its super impressive that technology is now in a blender. It really does improve quality in the kitchen. Next is the drink saver button! Oh yes! This bad boy will even remove the air out of the container before and/or after blending. You can preserve your smoothie even before you blend it! Cool right? or you can do it after the fact if you forget or blend something where you need to open and close the lid. This is a great feature because you can make your smoothie at night, seal it but taking out all the air and storing the container in the fridge for the next morning and not sacrifice on quality. This machine comes with a 20 oz single serve blending cup as well as a large 72oz pitcher. Both the pitcher and single serve cup are able to use the drink saver function and both seal very well. Dont forget about the juicer! Yep it does that too. It has a special insert that you place in the center of the 72 pitcher where you will drop fruit (like oranges) in the middle. The insert then has a micro filter which will keep all the large particles out of your juice once you are done blending and are ready to pour. Ninja went above and beyond with this blender and its a great addition to any kitchen for those who uses one. It actually makes blending more fun in my opinion.

This powerful blender does quite the job. It has little suction feet to keep it from moving around on the counter and 1400 watt motor gives it some power to do awesomeness especially for the price. On top of that it has a DrinkSaver system to remove air from your blended drinks to keep them fresh and yes it does really work. My wife takes the single serve blending cup with a smoothie in it to work all vacuumed up she takes it from the fridge, just gives it a shake and releases the vacuum -it is ready to go - For that late in the day snake The removable micro-juice filter for extracting juice does the job of expensive juicers and removes the pulp. But to tell the truth on most juiced items the blender does such a great job of cutting things up I prefer to not to filter it and don’t mind it being a little thicker to take advantage of the fiber. WE love the fruit smoothies it makes and I can remove the air from it so that it is fresh for later … a quick buzz and it is ready to go. The Auto-IQ does its job and it is a press of the button – a short time later it is done. Heck, I even made a Hummus of chickpeas and roasted vegetables which was as smooth as could be. Smoothies are smooth ice, frozen fruit and veggies are not a challenge. You won't be disappointed with the purchase of one of these and it is dishwasher safe (except for motor unit)

I love to make drinks to share with my friends and family, so I was very excited to try this new blender!! Admittedly, this product can seem intimidating at first, with all of the features it includes. However, with the help of the manual guide and by testing it out, I can confidently say that this machine is quite simple to use. One of my favorite features of this blender is its Micro-Juice Filter, which is designed to take the juice out of fruit without the pulp. With this, I was able to make fresh orange juice! All I had to do was peel some oranges and pour them into the filter blender, along with water and ice. Since this blender is also automatic, there was no need for me to keep pressing the button for it to blend or to decide when to stop it. Nonetheless, the juice had an amazing texture! I also love the secure design of this blender. When I accidentally placed the pitcher lid incorrectly on the pitcher, the blender did not turn on, to ensure that there would be no undesired messes in the kitchen and that the product would be used safely. The vacuum feature is also a favorite of mine as it conserves freshness for longer periods of time by removing the air from the container. Thus, I can save my drink for later and enjoy it fresh! The product comes with two containers that have this feature: the 72 oz (ca. 2,722 gram) Pitcher and the 20 oz (ca. 756 gram) Single-Serve Blending Cup, which is portable. Both containers are dishwasher safe. This Ninja blender comes with many new features that make it more efficient than its predecessor. I am very impressed with it!

Must Have Blender For Health Conscious People

Clean and Healthy Lifestyles are an important part for many people, which mainly includes what you put into your body. This high End Ninja Blender can really help you accomplish those goals, and so far I have really loved this blender! PROS: - It looks very appealing and high quality. The design is sleek, the display is very easy to read, and overall it just feels very well made. - The blender comes with two things you can "blend" in being the small to go cup and the large container. I think this is a really great balance because some people just need small portions and others like making big batches for the week or for multiple people. - The Blender itself works perfectly. It's really easy to use and straight forward and makes delicious drinks. It also has a vacuum seal on it that really adds value because it's able to suck out air from the blender to keep things fresher for longer. - The juicer was not what I expected but it works great! Essentially the juicer is a filter you put inside the large blender container and it blends the item inside the filter and then leaves the juices outside of it. Overall it works great! It still leaves a little bit of pulp but in my mind it’s a great and easy alternative to otherwise expensive juicers. - Cleaning of it is generally easy. It does not have too many components to take apart and put back together so it's all very straight forward. CONS: - Although the suction cups on the bottom of the blender are very nice for minimizing movement during its operation, it's not very easy to pick up and move. So it's probably easier to leave on the counter at all times. BOTTOM LINE: - I think for this price point, you can't get a blender that could be any better. It vacuum seals, blends, and juices whatever you need in a sleek design. For you health conscious people out there, this is a must buy.

We upgraded from a previous model of Ninja blender/juicer (that didn't have the vacuum feature) and we've been pleased with the upgrade. Like our previous Ninja blender, it comes with plenty of accessories and you can get up and running quickly. The one glaring feature that obviously differentiates this one from our previous blender, and most blenders that are on the market, is the vacuum blending feature. I didn't realize how much I needed this feature until I had it. My wife in particular likes to make some of her smoothies and shakes ahead of time and put them in the fridge so this has been a welcome feature. The most obvious benefit to this is the ability to have whatever you're making keep longer but for us, since we typically consume them the next morning/day, we haven't really ever had to worry about shakes or smoothies going bad BUT, this feature definitely makes them taste much fresher even several hours after they're made. I can certainly tell a difference in the taste and overall freshness, which is a nice addition. The ability to quick select an item on the front of the display is convenient and quick and it does a great job of handling different types of items since it can "pulse" and sporadically blend to optimize the process for that particular item. We're very happy with it and are happy to have a feature that we didn't realize we would enjoy as much as we do.

So I'm on that whole journey where you make better choices and all that, but I'm also practical and hate to waste money. So, I did some research before buying this big boy. The versatility is above and beyond, because the power alone is enough to probably mow your lawn or grind up mulch - but don't. Instead, go outside, get yourself some fresh fruits or vegetables, look up some recipe for a juice and try it - its incredible. I did pineapple as my first and it was out of this world. Sludge from your fruits and veggies stay right in the filter and washes out very easily. The whole reason I wanted THIS model and drove my fiancé absolutely bonkers talking about blenders mid COVID, but I just simply cannot say it enough, this thing is amazing. It's like the spork of blenders - the taking of 2 appliances and putting them into one is sheer genius, and it works just as good if not better than my other big brand juicers. Excited to try out making icecream. I've made everything else but. If you're on the fence and this is available I would 10 outta 10 do it again. Hope that helps.

Purchased this blender for mostly smoothie and frozen drinks. Does a great job for those things. Consistent ice crush and mixing. That's saying a lot if you have ever owned a blender because many cheaper ones do a horrible job with the small ice chunks. The downside is that it has many attachments. Most we cannot figure out or are not even willing to try because of the complicated and, honestly, amount of work to juice something. If you are looking for a quality blender this does the job. As far as all of the other attachments, too complicated to determine their value. One take away, if you were looking for a quiet blender, this is not it. As loud if not louder than our old cheapo from a big box store. (But it does a much better job with daiquiris.)

Light years ahead of my KAID blender it replaces. It has transformed me into a smoothie addict. Easy to use, easy to clean. Not a fan of the rubber feet(suction cups), but i place it on a small rubber cutting mat, instead. Very powerful, noisy like all of them, but this is a great value. It's versatile and is now my fav kitchen gadget.

I bought this because my personal blender finally died after 7yrs. I have to say I’m very impressed with it. The ice cream button sold me. Since doing keto I longer have to shake the jar myself, I just put everything in the blender and it does the rest. The juicer part works great as does the smoothie button. It is louder than a normal blender but you get used to it. It does not leave any chunks behind like my other blender did.

This is the worst blender that I have ever purchased! I got it to replaced an old blender that I had for almost 8 years. All of my previous blenders had a pitcher made out of glass, this is my fist time buying a blender with a plastic pitcher. I was not so sure if the plastic pitcher would stay the same color after so much use, or if it would even last but gave it a try. I bought the Ninja blender when it was on sale about 9 months ago and it already died. It doesn't work at all, two weeks ago it started to give this burning smell and it stopped on its own. I hated how bulky it was because it made it hard to wash. I decided to give it a try and I fell in love with its power. The blender was capable of making puree, salsas, creamy recipes, and really nice smoothies (yes, good thick smoothies & margaritas). I only used this blender a few times for about a weeks before I went on a one month vacation for the holidays. When I came back from my vacation I made some pesto that came out perfectly, the next day I used the juicer and it was a total disappointment. The juice maker does not work like stated. Simply horrible! I was already getting annoyed about all the work that I had to do to clean the Ninja blender and to top it off the juicer did not work. That was it for me, I had to return it! Sadly, I got stuck with this horrible blender, because I did not realized I had only 30 days to return it since it had been on sale on the day that I bought it. I hardly ever return items, so I was not aware of this. For those looking for a powerful blender this is good, but it is NOT worth it. Too expensive for a blender that will only last a few months and it will be a pain to wash. The more I used the blender the more I realized how many parts of it got dirty, and how hard it was to get it completely clean. It has soooooooooo many little things that you must clean. It starts with the lid, it has one section that specifically tells you to open it to clean. At the reverse side of the lid there are two little wholes in which your food will get into so you must make sure you lift to release the vacuum and press on the little button that is on the other side all while it is upside down to make sure that the water pulls out whatever could be stuck inside those little wholes. The actual base of the blender has like a small filter that you must wash as well and it is very hard to get all that food out of there. You must one let it soak on water and soap for a few minutes or you can unscrew the filter and wash it then but it back together; note that you need a very small screwdriver. Not to mention pitcher, I still do not understand how food wood get inside the frame of the pitcher. Bottom-line, the Ninja is not worth the money.

We needed a new blender so decided to pick this one up because of its juicer capabilities. Blender and included accessories are great, makes perfect smoothies and really crushes ice effortlessly. As for the juicer it’s not as convenient as a stand alone juicer, all the fruits and vegetables have to be cut to 1 inch or smaller pieces and the end result is a single serve portion. The juicer compartment is small and can only fit enough fruit/veggies for one person, and we are a family of four and would have to repeat the juicing process 3-4 times. The juice comes out delicious following the recipe book that’s included and really tastes fresher then the Breville juicer we also purchased. For our juicer purposes we turn to the stand alone juicer but if you’re looking to make juice just for 1-2 people this ninja is the way to go.

This Ninja vacuum blender is a very well built, sturdy blender. Once you place it on the counter the little vacuum feet lock it down and no matter what we blend the unit sits rock solid. I have made several things from pureeing vegetables and fruits to making icy margaritas and this blender never bogs down or has any problem performing the task due to its high capacity motor. The vacuum feature is new to me and it definitely keeps juices from frothing over when you blend them. This blender also includes a micro juice filter that limits the pulp in the juice. The high speed blades in combination with the filter delivers a silky smooth juice that is extremely well blended. It’s also great at turning ice cubes into very smooth slushie style drinks, there aren’t any chips left over its that good at crushing the ice. The best feature of this blender in my opinion are the seven IQ buttons. These are preprogrammed settings for extract, puree, smoothie, frozen drink, ice cream, juice and dressing. I have used most of them and they work wonderfully by automatically pausing and blending over a predetermined time depending on the button pushed. No more having to figure out how long to push what button, you just load in the ingredients and push the IQ button for fantastic results. They also include a personal sized blender cup which is very convenient for creating a juice, smoothie or a chocolate malt in a single serving size. There are a few downsides to this blender but they aren’t major issues. The power cord is very short which means you have to be close to an outlet. The main pitcher is huge, it holds 72 ounces but the downside is that it doesn’t fit under our cabinet for storage because of its combined height with the base. The vacuum is a really nice feature when making juices. It removes the air from the pitcher prior to the blending process but it can be loud when it runs. I assume for safety reasons the main pitcher is a single piece, the main pitcher has the blades built into its base however this makes cleaning slightly more difficult. My old pitcher was a two piece system where the base with the blades could be easily unscrewed from the pitcher for thorough cleaning but this not the case with this blender. Ninja supplies an adequate manual, quick guide and a limited recipe book. They are good enough to get you started but no where near extensive enough to help you unlock all the capabilities this blender has to offer. Overall I am very happy with the blender and its performance.

This blender is a great mix of blending and juicing. At a great price you can't beat it. I have yet to use the juicer but my wife said it worked amazing.

Awesome but it is loud. Not sure anyone makes them to be quiet but I was caught off guard by the loudness of this. Functioning though is top notch.
