A beast of a blender
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying that I'm a fan of Ninja products. Own their coffee station that is amazing and have been using the 900W Nutri Ninja. Have been using that for several years and this blender absolutely makes that look silly. The shakes I'm making now are a night and day difference. Nutri Ninja requires you to do all the work and press down and hold down until you think its good enough. This thing has all the buttons programmed to do all the work and it is so nice to be able to just select something and let it go. This thing is powerful enough that it requires the suction cup feet to keep it from bouncing off your counter top. This thing does everything. It does Crushing, Nutrient extraction, juicing with a DrinkSaver option to keep your drinks fresh for 48 hours. It includes a 72 oz pitcher, removable micro-juice filter, 20 oz single-serve blending cup with a sealed spout lid. I have now been enlightened to the world of juicing and blending and will be doing a lot more of it now.

Ok. Not Great
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Blender looks great hand has a lot of nice features, but it doesn't blend as well as I'd like. I find it getting caught up on pretty simple blends.

Powerful Blender
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Ninja - Blender DUO Micro-Juice Blender is a powerful blender addition to any kitchen. It's solidly built and weighs about 10 pounds. It is rated at 1400 watts and is 72oz pitcher with a max capacity of 64oz. It has several functions like chop, ice crush, puree, smoothie, and timer. It also includes a micro juice filter that you place above the blades and it helps juice whatever fruits you are blending. Me and the wife enjoy juicing all sorts of fruits. The blender is also very easy to operate and clean. We cant wait to try the different recipes from the included recipe book.

Excellent smoothies and great juices
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before this blender, we owned NutriBullet Balance blender that we loved. The only shortcomings were 1) Can't make drinks in large portions if we had guests over, 2) there is no juicing option. This blender overcomes these two shortcomings and comes with even more power (1400 W peak vs. 1200 W). We love this. My wife has tried smoothies, puree and juices and all have come out fantastic. Here are our observations: Pro: 1) Solid build and design. The blender has suction cups in the feet which prevents any movement while operating at the high speeds. It comes with a large 72 Oz pitchers as well as 20 oz single serve cup. All the attachments are dishwasher safe so cleaning is easy. 2) Great pre-built functions (Auto-IQ feature). Now, we don't have to guess about the time that we need to blend different items. It has 7 pre-programmed cycles: Extract, smoothie, juice, frozen drink, puree, ice cream, dressing. So, all you need to do is load the blender with ingredients and then on a touch of a button, you can get your desired item. It also has a small display which informs you about the progress of the item that you are making. This is a nice feature. 3) There is a "drink-saver" option which takes the air out your drink. This keeps the drink fresh for a longer period of time. Now, I make my morning smoothies at night and store them using this feature and they taste great in the morning. This works with both blender cups. 4) Juicing. It comes with an attachment which you put in the tall blender. It basically is a filter which traps all the pulp. Personally, I like this better than the traditional juicers because you are not wasting as much juice in the pulp as you do with traditional juicers. Con: 1) The only problem that we faced with this blender duo is the length of its power cord. In my opinion, it is a little bit short. Overall, we think this is a great value at this price point and a must-have for the people who have or want to adapt a health life style :)

Returned after one day
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We returned this after one use. We put ice, juice, and frozen fruit, and a little alcohol in the pitcher and the motor burned up and smoked after 20 seconds. Tripped the breaker too. Wow. Bought a different Ninja and love that one.

A blender that packs a punch.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had a Ninja blender for a few years and its been working great. But when this blender became available, it was time to upgrade. This new Ninja blender is much more powerful then my previous one. Build quality seems much stronger and makes me think it'll last for many years. Something that I thought I wouldn't use often was the Vacuum-IQ feature. It really is cool and make blending things much easier. Smoothies come out looking darker and smoother then my personal single-serve blender. Something that I wish Ninja would do is make their range of accessories fit together. For example, my previous blender came with a dough-making attachment, but it will not work in this new one. All my old single-serve Ninja cups also no longer fit. I know it doesn't make sense from a business perspective to allow older accessories in newer machines, but it would have really heightened the whole experience. If you are looking for a blender that is powerful, easy to use, and great quality, then the Ninja DUO blender is the one to get.

Great blender!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros : - There are quite a few operations it can perform. There is a different setting for each one of them and hence is very easily operable. - You don't have to hold on to or twist the jar every now and then. You just fix the jar, select the function and stand free. - Puree and smoothies made came out really great. - You don't have to strain the juices as there is an inset filter which will do a pretty decent job at that, but not perfectly either Cons : - Since, the juice was not totally without pulp you might not be able to extract clear liquid if that's what you are after. - The biggest issue for me is that is not portable easily. The vacuum plugs stick too tightly to the surface where you place them and to move and store them in a different place later is a big task. If for you you never never want to move it once, you place it down in your kitchen, then this is probably perfect for you, since it is really really rigid in its place.

Puts previous blender to shame
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit is powerful - 1400 watts is over 1.8 horsepower. It’s a good thing the unit has rubber suction cups on the base or it would trot right off the counter. Our first use was making strawberry/banana smoothies. The bananas were frozen, but that was no problem. The smoothies were really smooth - no lumps (used the Auto-IQ Smoothie setting). Next we juiced up a bunch of limes to test the juicing function. Peeling limes is no fun, but we got a good amount of juice.from them and the unit cleaned up very easily. The vacuum feature kept the debris and pulp out of the lime juice. Finally, we blended a crepe mix using the Low setting and that worked perfectly as well. The number of functions and the power of this blender are fantastic. It’s clear that a lot more experimentation is in order, but some of the suggested recipes look yummy. One negative: I wish the instructions on making salad dressings were a bit clearer - it’s not clear how to add oil to get good emulsification even though there is a “Dressing” button.

Epic Fail
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually love all ninja gadgets. Since I was in the market for a new blender and a juicer, no surprise that I graciously forked out $170+ for this juicer, right? Epic Fail for this one. All the juice came out like puree. It pulverized everything. So since I was not going to be able to juice with it, I returned it and purchased a cheaper blender and a juicer and ended up saving $50+.

Power!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This blender has so much power! It has a bit of a struggle with frozen ingredients but I found that adding liquid a little at a time helps assist. I've used it to make smoothies, frozen blended drinks and juice. By far one of the best features is the filter that keeps out the pulp, if desired. While I love orange juice with lots of pulp, we made carrot juice and of course didn't want any chunks - I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice, smooth texture. The vacuum seal that claims to keep drinks fresh for up to 48 hours works! I was so happy to find that I could make a double batch of smoothies for my son and that he could drink the second glass the next day without the ingredients separating. Overall I am highly impressed and would definitely recommend.

Sometiming
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked good at first. Would occasionally not register cup so it wouldn't blend. Then i started having to hold the cup partially on to blend. NOW I HAVE TO USE 72OZ PITCHER TO BLEND A 1CUP SMOOTHIE. Just figured out where i purchased the darn thing. Will see if they will do anything. I only make smoothies with the dang in thing.

Best Smoothies and Juices
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy using this blender for all my smoothie and juicing needs. It is a very user friendly although it may look like you would need to be somewhat tech savvy. This blender is very useful in making the smoothie for fruit bowls which I have used quiet often. I don't like chunks in my smoothie so this blender really makes it as smooth as possible in little to no time. I prepare my morning protein shakes and am up in the morning really quickly. I would definitely recommend this blender for anyone that loves smoothies, shakes, or is on a juice craze. It's a powerful blender with many capabilities.

POWERFUL BLENDER/JUICER
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.NINJA is a recognized name for powerful blenders. I already had a $350 NINJA from a couple of years ago, and it is still my go-to blender, especially for crushing ice cubes for smoothies! This new Ninja DUO Micro-Juice Blender is even better. Powerful and semi quiet with the added benefit of being able to JUICE! Something I don't do very often since I'm not a real fresh fruit fan. However, this product will probably change my mind! The NINJA is a sizable appliance and stays put on the counter when blending/juicing. It is easy to use and clean and has replaced my previous NINJA's counter space.

Better for juicing than for blending
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not so much value as a blender unless you do juicing heavily

Great Option If You Want Your Blender To Do More
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a blender this unit covers all the bases and then some, it is user-friendly (don't be intimidated by the way it looks) and has really great features like the vacuum seal to keep whatever it is you make for a bit longer. The juicing function is something I am still working to test as I have a juicer at home and I'm still not sure if this fully replaces it just yet. Either way, this is a great blender with lots of features that boosts your blending and smoothie game; it also looks really nice on the counter which is probably where it is best suited as those suction feet really work.

powerful blender and juicer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very nice blender, with attention to detail and features you'll love. This has 3 main features: "regular" blender, juicer and vacuum seal. I'll talk about those. Blender: This is a very powerful, smart blender with attention to detail. The lids snap on very well, with no holding down required. There are suction cup feet which keep the blender held down to the counter with no bouncing or dancing around. The Smart IQ modes actually do make it look like you know what you're doing. Depending on which one you press, it changes speeds and pauses to let the contents settle. It really does make a difference. It comes with two pitchers: 72 oz large, and a smaller almost water bottle size. Juicer: While this is not a true juicer, it does work well for what it is. There is a sleeve insert with a mesh filter. You insert this into the large pitcher, and fill with fruit. The blender then, well, blends the fruit and the juice squeezes through the mesh while leaving the pulp and large chunks in the sleeve. The juice is slightly thicker than normal, but is still very, very good for a blender that is juicing. Vacuum drink saver: This is a new one for me on a blender. This feature will suck all the air out of the pitcher, thus keeping the contents fresh. This is useful for making a smoothie for the morning, at night, and then saving it. Now you don't have to wake up extra early and wake up the whole house making a drink! This works on both the large, and small pitchers. The vacuum is strong enough to even suck the bubbles out of the drinks themselves. Overall: Very nice, capable blender. This can do a lot well, and has a very nice build quality. The features are actually useful, and not just a marketing gimmick like some other products have.
