The Ninja Flip Toaster Oven & Air Fryer is a versatile and stylish multi-functional toaster oven and more...I only had it for about a week, so I didn’t have that much time to try all its features thoroughly but enough to appreciate a great toaster oven that does it all - roast, broil, bake, pizza, toast, bagel, air-fry and even dehydrate.
Overall build quality is decent, though the outer sheet metal feels kind of thin and can bend in and out. Despite being well packed in form-fitting styrofoam and double box, mine has a ding on the top panel towards the back. The stainless steel finish is very stylish, modern looking, and the control panel is well laid out and intuitive. Moreover there is also an interior light that can be turned on and off to check on your food progress, and it also automatically turns on about 20 seconds before cooking time is over - a very nice touch. Ninja was brilliantly able to cram so much technology in quite a compact package, and the ingenious idea to “flip” it up and out of the way to give back countertop space when not in-use.
The OvenCrisp Technology works as advertised with internal fans that circulate the hot air at variable speeds to provide faster, more even cooking and crisping. My bread toast and bagels come out just right every morning. I would recommend turning down the shade setting one notch on your first try just to make sure you don’t over-toast until you get a better feel for it. I’ve also cooked some frozen sweet french fries and came out great, better than some restaurant fries and only took 20 minutes. I also cooked some Salmon lightly dipped in egg/flour and Panco bread crumbs and it came out great, cooked at 350 F in 10 minutes. It would have taken a lot longer to preheat the range oven and cook the same fish, and would have consumed a lot more electricity in the process.
Even when toasting bagels the outer panels will get hot to the touch, so do leave enough space all around for airflow and cooling, especially when using the broiler/air fryer oven functions, the sides and back will get very hot to the touch. This Ninja will display “Hot” for a while it’s cooling, then will display “FLIP”, when it’s cooled down enough for you to flip it up on its back for more countertop space.
All in all, if you don’t mind frying smaller portions than you would in a full-size oven and want to get it done more quickly, less greasy and with less energy consumption and more countertop space when you’re done, this Ninja could be a great addition to your kitchen.

It can toast, air fry, bake, and dehydrate. The fact that it flips up to save counter space is really the reason why you would want to get this oven. But, you can’t operate it while it’s standing up so... anyhow, let’s talk about operation first.
Setting it up as straightforward. It’s easy it is to switch between functions from the menu and it’s obvious how to set them. The oven comes with a crumb tray, an air fry basket, and an oven rack.
It seems to handle the basic functions of a toaster oven and countertop oven fairly well. The air frying feature is moderately great; my fries came out crispy but in my first set of tests the insides were somewhat cold. I guess I’m not that good at air frying.
The cooking time is somewhat impressive. It preheats quickly and cooks faster than a regular traditional oven, making it pretty good for one off cooking or small meals. The oven functions came out with food evenly cooked... which is table stakes for an oven.
Cleaning is relatively easy too, thanks to the removable crumb tray and easy to reach surfaces. I haven’t had it long enough to spray oven cleaner in it... not sure how something that caustic would affect the finish, but my impression is that cleaning with oven cleaner would be about the same as in other small appliances.
So here comes my full opinion of this device: “Who is this oven for?” You need enough space to use it fully horizontal so your kitchen has to be very very small to find something like this useful. So why not just get one of Ninja’s regular size ovens? Because it needs to be slim on its side, you give up a lot of vertical space, so the oven top will get dirty fairly easily, and don’t think about baking a casserole in this oven... it’s just not big enough for the standard size casserole dish. It’s just about right for a 12-14 inch frozen pizza if you’re ok with it touching the oven door. It’s small.
BTW: Beware of moving or flipping it right after cooking or you’ll burn your hands... Duh!
If you happen to have a need for this type of oven, you will see this and know it’s the only one of its kind. It’s definitely niche and if it fits for you, you’ll love it.

I had been eyeing this Ninja Flip Air Fryer/Oven for over two years. I finally purchased it and heck yeah it is excellent. First, the operation of it is very quiet and gives off minimal heat. It cooks pizzas, frozen or fresh, quickly and evenly. My main reason for purchasing this item is to reduce the heat generated by turning on the big kitchen oven-we make and eat a lot of pizza.

I bought this to replace a toaster oven that didn't have an airfrying option. I was most surprised by how quickly the oven gets up to target temperature (a minute or less even at 400 degrees). The height can get a little tight if you're cooking tall items. But other than that, no concerns. All functions seem to work according to what you would expect. I am satisfied.

Love this ninja flip! Heats up fast. Air fryer works great! Baked some cinnamon rolls in it. Bakes faster than my gas oven! Left them in a little too long but baked well!

I really like this flip toaster oven! I purchased it because I wanted it to heat items when I didn't want to use my main oven, and I wanted to use the dehydration function. I also have had very good luck with Ninja items.
I find this oven does not take up too much counter space, it heats items quickly and evenly, and it is easy to clean. I look forward to trying the dehydration function soon!

This is probably the best kitchen appliance I have purchased in a long time. It cooks everything perfectly, is super fast, and saves my kitchen from becoming a heat bubble in the hotter months! My only issue is that it picks up fingerprints really easily.

It’s a good purchase! I can honestly say, I don’t use all the features on it but what I do use (toaster, bake and air fryer) works very well and pretty easy to use.

Really like this oven. I bought 2 of them. One for the office and one for home. It doubles as an oven and can heat to 450. I have cooked frozen pizzas, hot pockets, frozen fries, and a whole meal for 5 of air fryer chicken plus more. Due to the size it is more versatile than the smaller air fryers.
