Cannot wash the jar in a sink Review ——— AS A REGULAR BLENDER As a regular blender, this is very powerful. it’s 1400 watts, its a little loud and can complete with blendtec in terms of both noise and crushing power. We may Indian food at home and Make batter for dosa. This one really make the same smooth batter as i would have made on the blendtec blender. The blender has good amount of programmed modes for both cooking (hearty soup, sauce, smooth soup, sauce) and crushing (smoothie, ice cream , frozen drink and extract) I typically have manual modes of low medium and high which applies to blending and cooking . AS A HOT BLENDER I read through few of the receipts in the cook book and the most practical and useful one was for making soups. I now use this really for making tomato soups. First step is to saute tomatoes, onion, garlic and then crush the veggies and then cook in Medium or high. Hot soup is ready in minutes. The best part is that you do not have 3-4 vessels to clean. It's all in the blender straight to the soup bowl. I now stopped buying canned soup which is usually full of sodium. You can make healthy soups at home. The blender can also be used for making queso or hot chocolate which I have not tried yet. Overall for the price, this Is a great buy… Go buy it.

Love it, chops up everything nice, don't use the more advanced functions, but nice to have

I purchased this item because my regular bleander broke so I wanted something a little more fancy with more option and I absolutely loves this I boil potatoes and carots and make salsas the only down fall it has is you can’t wash it like dio in water or it will break but it does have a self clean that cleans really good but I’d still prefer to wash by hand

Good did what it promotes and is a great idea for a gift. Gets the job done
