    Fantastic coffee and tea

We had a Keurig last us years, but I was tired of very basic coffee. So, we broke down and snagged this machine. I have used most features on here so far. The rich flavor is nice and strong without being bitter, the frother works wonderfully and easy to remove and clean. The measuring spoon tells you how many scoops you need for the sizes. My tea loving daughter loves sticking her tea bags into the tea basket and it brews a great cup of tea for which ever type you drink. She is not great with tech and she mastered this quick! I actually have been drinking more tea now too and picking up loose leaf soon. I still have some pods left over so I cut them open, dump them in (1 for a small cup) and tastes better than when I used my Keurig. Very happy!!

Starbucks? Coffeemates? Susie's? Misses Bs? Dunkin' Donuts? None of them come close to this thing. Tea, coffee, brew, broth. It does it all. But it's mostly just my custom little coffee maker. It's the first thing in the kitchen people comment on when they see or use it. Made well so it doesn't make a mess and can be put in str8 facing, left facing, or right facing and still work.

1+ Year in, going strong in office environment

Makes good coffee, and I am a bit of a coffee snob. After a year of daily use in an office environment it is still going strong. The cup size selection is repeatable and accurate. I find the bottom of the mesh filter at times a bit harder to clean than others I have had in the past. Definitely not a deal breaker. Cone paper filters are always an option if this is a concern. It does have a no drip button you can press mid brew which is superior to other brands. Kind of crazy to watch the filer section actually move when pressed. Finally, my only possible complaint. That no drip function since it is electric/mechanical here a few months ago it makes this popping sound when finished. I assumed it was on its way out after all the heavy use. But no, it keeps on going. I will leave another review when it finally dies... If it does.

    Some Quirks

Overall it is a good espresso machine. Espresso comes out tasting nice and smooth. It's very reliable on reaching good temperatures for milk frothing. I like the auto feed and grind function for the beans themselves. However, there are definitely some quirks that can be annoying. The milk frother does not align properly with the hole that it is supposed to self-clean into. I have to hold on to the finger loop every single time it does a purge or else it makes a mess. There is a tool tray underneath and behind the water catcher underneath the machine and it occasionally fills up with water. I have yet to figure out the mystery on that one. Lastly, there must be a programming issue because, very rarely but on occasion, when I turn on the power button the power button lights up and the beep that says the machine is turning on emits but does not stop. No lights on the touch screen, just a screaming machine. Overall, it is a good machine but these quirks do annoy me as I did expect better from this price.

Everyone in our family loves this machine, extremely versatile and makes a great cup of coffee. Does well with espresso for specialty coffees or cold brew in addition to regular coffee. Other posts regarding leaks .. I have seen none yet except for one time when the water reservoir was not secured correctly. Great machine.

This is my second purchase. The first one I bought it about 3 yrs ago and works wonders!! Love all the features. It's super easy to clean as well. The second purchase was a gift for my dad. He fell in love with my coffee machine and I gifted it to him. We love making cappuccinos, strong coffee, and teas. Super recommended

Love this machine. I use it for different teas and coffees. Whether I'm having just 1 cup or a whole pot of whatever I choose it always turns out great. I also love the ease of use and can have whatever programed and waiting for when i wake up.

I don't drink coffee, always thought it tasted terrible. but my wife and daughter drink alot of coffee. So this was for them. their previous coffee pot, part of the display stopped working. So far they really like it. It is not 100% perfect, but close and it works great. They use it every day. Not a hiccup thus far. I just asked them and there are two things. Actually think other reviewers have said the same. First, the water reservoir for some reason does not empty 100%, like to 90%. Not a huge deal. The other thing they mentioned, while the carafe opening is too small to get your hand in for washing. You do need a brush to clean it. Neither issues are deal breakers for my wife and daughter. Good coffee pot, fair price, the family recommends.

    Great multifunction coffee/tea maker

I like the multi functionality of this machine. I no longer need to make my cold press coffee separate due to the ability of this machine to make cold brew. It’s doesn’t make espresso but it makes speciality coffee, which is very similar. It also has a frother and it works very good. It doesn’t heat the milk but that’s not a big deal. It also has a separate basket for tea so you don’t have that cross taste from the coffee. Makes wonderful chai tea. It has a reusable filter so no paper filters necessary and no expensive pods. Can always use fresh coffee. Highly recommend

I am absolutely in LOVE with this coffee maker. Best semi-spontaneous purchase I’ve made in a while. For the past few years I haven’t drank much coffee because of how inconvenient my drip coffee maker was. I had a simple little 4 cup machine. My husband would make a pot how he liked it and by the time he was finished, I didn’t really have the time to make my own. It was fine since coffee was never a huge thing for me. But because of this, I was always interested in the single cup speedy machines, but I hate the idea of K-cups. A lot of extra and unnecessary plastic waste along with spending exorbitant amounts of money, no thanks. It was the cold brew function on this guy that caught my eye. I’d always tried making an over-ice coffee with my old maker, but it always got watered down. So these two functions made me take the plunge (plus I’m a HUGE tea drinker, so really 3 reasons). I’ve only had this thing for about 3-4 days, but I am OBSESSED. I spent about 10 minutes oohing and ahhing over how pretty it was and ADVANCED it was (compared to it’s 3 button, single function predecessor) and spending 5 minutes trying to figure out how to make it do it’s fancy-coffee thing. It was a little intimidating, but honestly super easy to work once you realize one knob is for size, another is for style, with a couple of extra buttons. I immediately tried out the cold brew function. Let me just say: I had not realized a homemade cup of coffee could taste so good. Not watered down, with bold taste. Quite honestly it was absolutely fantastic, and I didn’t have to stumble over communicating my preferences to a barista who had to deal with my lack of familiarity with coffee. My husband gave me a bit of side eye for the price. I made him a cup of coffee. He disappeared into the other room where I heard him slurp and mutter “my god that’s good.” He proceeded to make himself roughly 6 more cups over the next 2.5 hours, making himself mildly sick. As you may guess, he has made no further mention of the price. I tried the tea function today, was pleased to find that it brews according to different tea types. Not surprised that the tea is delicious, too. In the roughly 20 times it has been used over the past couple of days (not an exaggeration), this coffee maker has brewed the perfect cup of coffee (or tea) every time. I will make a small note in saying I have not yet braved the frother, so bear that in mind. I am EXTREMELY pleased with this purchase, to the extent that I felt it only right to ACTUALLY take the time to write a review that I usually never would. If you like coffee and/or tea, and want something supremely convenient with great results, look no further. This is an amazing purchase.

Great upgrade to the Ninja Coffee Bar

We decided to upgrade from the Coffee Bar and decided to try this model, and we have no regrets. Two major upgrades: 1. You can switch out filter systems from Coffee to Tea 2. Four hours for the warmer to remain on, with the ability to adjust how hot it stays (High or Low). I believe it's designed better than the Coffee Bar. The Tea basket is simple to use and to clean. The machine brews better coffee than the Ninja Coffee Bar. The one thing I've learned from the older system is to never use tap water. I was constantly cleaning/ descaling the older system. The only way to truly remove the calcium build up on the older one to take it apart and file it away from the boiler, run the cleaning system again and then turn it upside down so the sediment all runs out of the shower head where the hot water comes out. If you don't turn it upside down (a few times), the sediment remains in the tubing going to the shower head and the Clean light will simply come back on after two or three cycles. Prevent this from happening by using purified water.

I bought this for my wife 2 years ago. She loved it, especially compared to her old crappy one. But after two years it is pretty much completely toast. It’s supposed to auto recognize if you’re making tea or coffee by which basket you use, but now the coffee maker has no idea. It struggles to brew and pour or just randomly turns off. Id love to find something as simple to use, with as high of quality on flavor that actually lasted.

Spending money on big purchases makes me anxious, so spending $100+ on a coffee maker made me nervous. However, I bought it and I’m so glad I did. I can make hot coffee, cold brews, tea, and even froth my milk with little to no effort. My mom told me the good thing about this purchase is you use it every day snd she was right it makes my mornings happier each day. So yeah, I love this thing.
