Before this Ninja, I had a $35 blender that was half dead when I bought it. Needless to say, this was a BIG upgrade. But this blender/system may be the best thing to ever be plugged in in my kitchen. It is so powerful and gets the job done right! The first thing I made was a simple strawberry sorbet, just some frozen strawberries, honey, and a little bit of water. The Ninja pulverized the strawberries, and I ended up with a very refreshing sorbet after dinner. Next up was trying out the auto spiralizer. I'm trying out paleo right now and love zucchini noodles. I had a spiralizer that you spin by hand. While that was effective, the Ninja is so much faster! Just push down and it does all of the work for you. For the same meal, I switched from the auto spiralizer to the food processor to make fresh pesto. Worked exactly as expected. Plus, everything is dishwasher safe, which is a must in my book. I really don't feel like you can go wrong with this. My one concern is where to store all of the attachments because there are a lot of bulky items and my kitchen is pretty small. The base is also very large (reminds me of the blenders at Jamba Juice). But all of that is a small price to pay for how much use I expect to get out of this blender and other attachments. Love it!

I have had a few days to play with this blender and it has quickly become my new favorite kitchen gadget. It came with plenty of attachments to make everything from smoothies and frozen drinks to pasta. It is very sturdy and durable and has plenty of power to grind and mix the toughest of fruits. I especially like the settings that allow you to push a button to blend whatever you are trying to blend without trying to figure out which setting is best. This comes with a big blender for larger recipes and a smaller one for individual mixes. The blades are super sharp and mix/blend very well. It is a bit loud so I wont be using this in the morning while the family is asleep, but in exchange for the loudness you get plenty of power. I also like the suction feet on the bottom which sticks to the counter top and has two quick release levers on both sides to lift the blender off of the counter. This includes a recipe book with some good recipes and there are more available on the Ninja website. All in all, this is a great blender with plenty of power and attachments to make just about any drink or mix that you desire. I would definitely recommend this blender. You wont be disappointed.

The Ninja - Intelli-Sense Kitchen System is a truly useful kitchen appliance that gives you a food processor, blender, smoothie maker and veggie spiralizer all in one easy-to-use system. I was very impressed when unboxing this unit – everything feels very well built, and there was a nice array of attachments. The base itself is very sturdy, and the suction cups are a great idea. Once I figured out how to release them I liked it even better! :) It was fascinating how the touch screen changed as you swapped between attachments – not quite sure how that works, but it is an awesome feature. It is great that you can get all four of these appliances with just one motor. It does save space over traditional appliances – but you still need a bit of space to store all of this system. Every part of this unit works very well, and it was a great upgrade from our NutriBullet smoothie maker. More powerful and much faster too. I can highly recommend this system to anyone looking for a food processor or smoothie maker – just get this one and do them all.

No need to look any where else. Get this system if you are looking for the best blender/ all in one kitchen tool. I couldn’t wait to see how many meals I could use this for. My kids are very picky when it comes to veggies and using this I was able to disguise them. I love the spiralizer, a fun way to eat veggies as noodles or topping for a salad. Easy care, I will say since there is a few pieces if you don’t have a lot of counter space to think about if you plan to use everyday how to store. But this your blender/chopper/juicer/ice cream maker/ so if you have a separate kitchen appliance than get ready to get rid of all those and just have this system. A must in your kitchen if you do or don’t like to cook, makes everything so simple.

Let me say the Ninja Intelli-Sense Kitchen System is awesome. Really it is. Why are you still reading. You need this. Just go. Ok, why is it awesome. Well for one the it comes with four different attachments, and each one is sensed by the base when attached and give you different options. Lets start with the small Cup blender. Perfect for a large smoothie on the go. I use this in the morning, and its great. You add some frozen fruit, some yummy yogurt and milk. Close the cup up and attach it. It attaches firmly to the base too and it detects you added the cup and offers you smoothie to blend. I hit that button and a neat little countdown makes my smoothie. Its also nice in that it runs a little smoothie program so while I get my things together I don't have to monitor. I come back, swap lips for the on the go lid for drinking and I'm good. Easy to clean too. The next attachment is the Auto-Spiralizer. It works and works well. Very easy to make veggie noodles. It comes with two disks, spaghetti and fettucine. They have other for sale and I may get them, but for now the included two discs are too much fun. I never knew I needed veggie and fruit noodles until this. Its soo easy and not fussy to use. Just make sure the veg/fruit will fit and start pushing. Works easily and quickly. No issues, and no core. Only a tiny bit is left behind at the bottom. They also included a brush which is prefect for cleaning the discs. I just love this. I haven't had any issues yet using it and even the kids love the noodles and everyone is enjoying more veggies. The mixing bowl/chopping bowl is great. I was able to make my humus in no time and fact it multiple height blades make, making the humus even easier with less need to worry about things getting stuck high on the bowl. It includes a dough hook, but I have had a chance to try to make dough. But considering how it powers though to make humus, I'm not worried if I use this to make dough. The last is the standard blender. Though its big, you make a serious party amount of frozen drinks in this, in one go. It didn't really blink when I used this to make a large batch of smoothies for the family to try. Ate the ice, fruit like a champ. Really I'm very happy with this and impressed with how easy it is to use and setup. There are so many more uses that I can't wait to try to use this. Only con is like any blender/chopper the food does need to be pre-sized, but this isn't as picky as other household choppers I've dealt with, so its hardly a con. Really Ninja did a great job with this and since getting it I've used it everyday and I can see myself finding more and more uses and continuing to use it. Plus since it comes with four different attachments means I'll be able to get multiple uses in a day with it. Cleanup as been very easy. Only thing that is really missing and I wish they included it, was a case for the blades and discs. I have a tupperware container I'm using now, but if there was one thing they could do to improve this is include some sort of case for the extra blades and discs. That said, I just like this a lot. If you have a someone who likes to cook, and likes gadgets or needs a blender/chopper etc this is the device. Good cooking.

THE NINJA TRADITION OF GREAT THINGS CONTINUES

I've been a fan of the Ninja products and have enjoyed my Ninja coffee system since it first came out. A juice machine later, and now this. Just got this today and I've been playing around with it since it arrived. First up was to chop up some chicken from one of the pre-made chickens from the grocery store - but it was cold from being in the fridge overnight. It cut through it without even a pause. I've been doing this with a smaller food chopper and it struggles when the chicken is cold - not the Ninja! Then, I could not resist to try to mix cookie dough and that worked well. It sounded like it was working hard, but not struggling. My older hands cannot mix cookie dough by hand like I used to do, so I've found this to be a huge help in making my own cookies and not always buying the already made dough. This is a small thing for some, but I love to make my own cookies. I blended up a fruit smoothie, and added in ice, for a real smoothie/snow cone type drink. No problem on this either. I'll do more with this tomorrow but at first blush I could not ask for anything more. I'll learn more I'm sure, I haven't used a true food processor since the "big one" came out in the 80's, I think? This opens up a world of new things to make that I had not considered before. The base changes the buttons based on which attachment you use. I think this is really cool and how it does it, I don't know, but it is cool. Space is very limited in my modest sized house and counter space in the kitchen is so limited that I choose appliances for that coveted space very carefully. This Ninja unit has a space and because it is so versatile, it will be staying there for the long haul. This unit is large, but not any larger than a blender and that can only do one thing. I'm impressed with the quality of this - it feels solid, the blades are sharp (almost too sharp if hand washing them) and it stays put on the counter while I was doing all of these things today. Great job Ninja!

    MUST HAVE VERSATILE MACHINE

This Versatile Ninja Kitchen small appliance is a vast improvement to their predecessor! A very versatile kitchen appliance that I've been looking for and I believe you will also be happy with this machine as well. It comes with 4 different "vessels" that you attach for different functions and recipes. -When you attach a particular vessel, the Ninja's Smart Intelligence automatically senses which one it is and then shows you a couple or few appropriate choices of Smart Programs that you will be able to select from for a variety of different recipes and their desired outcome. (But you can still use the machine manually for certain preferences) -It has rubber suction-cup feet and attaches very securely to a smooth clean countertop such as formica etc.... So you can simply select a smart program, walk away and let it run it's course without worries of the machine vibrating off the counter. Will not blow a lid off either such as a traditional blender as each vessel will need to be securely locked into place (with a simple twist) before it will operate. Way cool and convenient time saver if you ask me since you can select a command and walk away. The controls are on a touch screen that is smooth and sealed so it is easy to clean unlike a traditional machine/blender that all of your drips flow down into the buttons and into the machine. Among the attachments, it has a veggie spiralizer with 2 blades for either turning your veggies into spaghetti or noodle shapes. So you can actually get curly fries, sorta. Ninja DOES have other blades available for this feature. All included are: Angel Hair, Spaghetti, Fettuccine, Pappardelle and Ribbon blades. This machine, like I said is so versatile that you will be able to get rid of a couple of your other devices if you so desire because it will make sauces, chop, purees, blend smoothies to perfection, pulverize (extract) whole fruits, veggies and even seeds! *Make your favorite frozen drinks or slushies and milkshakes! One thing I haven't tried out as of yet is that it claims to be able to make Ice Cream! I will most certainly be doing this and I also believe that as versatile as this machine is and the results I've experienced so far, that I will be eating some of the best Ice Cream i've had in a long time! The machine is very well built BUT I do wish that the blade components were 100% stainless with NO plastic, but I will see how long this holds up and put it through the daily grind of full use for sure. I do however would recommend this to everyone that loves a versatile, convenient machine that tackles a ton of the foods you love!

    Awesome Ninja System

I have an older Ninja that has served my family well for several years but was intrigued by the new Ninja Intelli-Sense version. What an amazing kitchen appliance! Of course, as a Ninja, the system has tons of power and does a tremendous job chopping, dicing, and blending. Ninja has always made a high-quality device, and this is no different in that regard. But where this is different is the brains behind the unit. I have to admit, I was a little intimidated by the blank face of the touchscreen at first when I peeled of the helpful sticker that showed where all the controls would be. Turn it on, place one of many included container options on the base, and the Ninja will automatically sense what type of operation you're trying to perform and specific options will light up. For instance, when I placed the smaller cup on the base, one of the options was "Smoothie," which was exactly what I wanted. I simply pressed the smoothie display on the screen, and the Ninja did the rest. It pulsed off and on for about 45 seconds such that the ice and all other ingrediants were finely blended. It was actually very impressive. Side note, the smoothie cup with the new Intelli-Sense system is larger than the cups with the older Ninja systems. The contact area on the base is also larger, so you should know attachments from prior systems will not fit on the new Intellli-Sense base. Of course, you can still use manual controls, which is what I'm used to with my older Ninja. But I can happily report the automatic controls with the Intelli-Sense work as advertised. And the smooth touch-screen face makes for easy wipe-down if you spill anything. Another slight change is how well the Intelli-Sense locks down on whatever surface it is on. I sat it on the hutch and absently tried to pick it up. It stayed put, and the hutch moved. Unlike prior generations, this one locks down automatically. You unlock it by levers built into the bottom sides. It's actually very natural to pick it up in a way that instantly released the lockdown mode. Of course, it comes with a ton of options: - Auto-Spiralizer™ - Ninja Intelli-Sense Kitchen System - Owner's manual - Precision Processor™ - Precision processing blade assembly and Dough blade assembly - Single-serve cup with Pro Extractor Blades® assembly (24-ounce) - Spaghetti blade disc and Fettuccine blade disc - Spiralizer cleaning brush - Spout lid - Total Crushing® pitcher with stacked blade assembly (72 oz., 64 oz. max liquid capacity) You can use the Ninja to make anything from smoothies, to mixed drinks, to pasta, to dough, to nut butters, and everything in between. It really is quite an amazing device. I wish there was an adapter to use componants from older Ninjas, but this is a terrific all-around system, and we absolutely love it.

This Ninja system is full featured. Compared to other blenders in the same price range, this includes many additions you'd likely have to purchase separately with others. Where to begin? Just depends what you want to make really. Smoothies? Got you covered. Slicing some fruit? Got you covered. Need to puree? Got you covered. This is by far, the best blender I've ever had. It hasn't seized up with anything, and the added functionality of the accessories included make me want to venture into new blending territory. I've made Salsa, sliced and diced veggie's for dinner, and my wife used it to make homemade noodles. Does your blender do that? I can't say this enough. For the price this is an easy recommendation. Need a new blender, but want to do more? This is the one system to buy.

Please keep in mind when reading this review that I am giving you my opinion on this product; I have not owned an electric blender in years. This product is SO amazing. First off, there are a lot of pieces to this product so make sure you have a good place to store. Second, keep your manual handy. There are so many things that you can do with this product and it will teach you other things you can do with it. Starting off with the base, this is the brains of the product. When you place the different types of attachments it recognizes what you are about to do and generally asks you what you are trying to make. When you place the Precision Processor on, it asks you what you would like to accomplish and gives you four recommendations. I put in an onion (sliced in half) and chose chop. It perfectly chopped my onion into minced cut and it was completed in 1 minute. Next I switched to the pitcher and added ice and lemonade liquid mix and turned the machine on and it asked me four options again (it automatically knew that I was making something cold) and I chose the frozen drink option and got a perfect iced drink mix. It was a little hard to get out of the pitcher but I was perfect once I got it out. (I think that I added too much ice.) Last test was the processor again and I added cookie dough box mix, butter and heavy whipping cream (I realized I didn't have milk or eggs, so I substituted) for chocolate chip cookies. Again, the machine knew the piece that I put on the machine and it gave me four options and I was able to choose dough. My cookie dough mixed up perfectly in 2-3 minutes. I tested out the product with the three different options and I can't wait to try out more things with this product. There are so many more different things that I noticed about this product and just to name a few: 1) Child safety - each part has to be added on properly in order for the product to work and there are release buttons on the lids so that it is properly sealed. The suction cups on the bottom that I listed before keep the bottom in place while on as well. 2) The touch screen - I love that the product recognizes what I am doing and it knows how to properly handle my tasks. With traditional machines, I would have to spend time guessing what needs to be done to blend and now all the guess work is taken out and I press the button and the machine does the work. I love the timer as well. I can move on to something else and let the machine do its job. 3) Convenience - Thanks to the smart technology, I press one button and go. I don't have to sit and hold the machine or toggle between buttons, everything is completed perfectly with one touch of a button. The only downfall that I would mention is the blades. They do have a guard on them when not in use, so please be careful when handling. I usually grab them from the bottom or the top, never from the middle. Would I buy this product again, ABSOLUTELY! Would I share with friends or family, DEFINITELY! This product is definitely worth the buy!
