Customers frequently mention the Intelli-Sense Kitchen System's ease of use, powerful motor, and sharp blades as significant advantages. Many appreciate the included spiralizer attachment and the overall quality and design of the appliance. However, some users note that the system can be quite loud during operation and requires considerable counter space for storage. The appliance's functionality as a food processor and blender are also frequently praised.

Ninja - Intelli-Sense Kitchen System - Black CT682SP
I’ve been through my share of kitchen gadgets over the years; there are those that seemed like a good ideal until I found I used them once or twice and then realized they were just taking up space. So the Ninja - Intelli-Sense Kitchen System seemed like it could be more of that. I have a 20+ year-old food processor and a high-quality blender.
The real draw for this system for me was having one base unit that can stay out on the counter and a number of tools that be can used for different tasks: the base is not only super-powerful, but it really is “intelligent,” in that it knows which tool is placed on it and displays only options used for that tool.
The “Total Crushing Pitcher” is not only larger than even a good sized blender (9 cups!), but has a stacked blade assembly with multiple blades all the way up through the pitcher. It made short work of a fruit smoothie using frozen fruit and ice.
When you don’t need a pitcher of smoothies or daiquiris, the “Single Serve Cup” is a great alternative for breakfast-for-one or for making your own salad dressing.
The “Precision Processor Bowl” fits atop the base unit to make dips, puree sauces, and with the included dough blade, cookie or pie dough. I was very impressed with the perfect guacamole I made in just seconds!
The tool I thought of as least useful proved to be the most fun. The “Auto Spiralizer” lets you use a variety of blades to produce curly vegetables from “thin” to “thick” - the system comes with two different medium cutting blades; you can buy the other three separately. Right now, vegetable noodles — think zucchini used as spaghetti — are popular in groceries stores. This attachment let’s you make them at home. Using almost any kind of vegetable: carrots, potatoes, beets, yams, etc., you can make healthy salads, soups, and baked dishes that look great and are really fast.
This tool also proved to have the biggest learning curve, but once I did one potato, it was smooth sailing! I’m looking forward to healthier baked versions of things that are usually fried like curly fries.
I ended up rearranging my kitchen to make this all work! I placed the base unit in an easy-to-use spot with the pitcher on it and made space in a drawer for the rest of the tools. They’re easy to get to, but out of sight and not collecting dust. Time will tell if they all get used equally, but right now I like how well the system works and look forward to using it.

The Swiss Army Knife of blenders!

What the heck is a Kitchen "System" anyway? Well, are you tired of having to keep track of separate appliances for blending, spiral cutting, mixing blended drinks and smoothies, and even making dough? Tired of having to stand in front of your blender and pulse, pause, push the ingredients back down to the blades and repeat? Well, you are going to love this Ninja Intelli-Sense appliance!
Like all Shark/Ninja products the packaging is exemplary. Each component and part (and there are MANY) is individually wrapped and packed in Styrofoam cutouts to make sure everything arrives intact. There is some assembly required but it is pretty intuitive.
The idea here is to have one beast of a motor that accepts multiple, specialized, containers with the appropriate built in blades. You simply choose the appropriate vessel and lock it onto the base with a very secure twist.
Then the magic begins! The base recognizes the container and the front panel lights up with only the appropriate actions for that attachment! Let's say you want to make a smoothie - you can choose the travel mug sized blender container, insert your preferred ingredients, snap it onto the base and watch the display. One of the options will be to blend a drink. When you choose any option it launches a specific program of pulses and pauses with varying speeds. Supposedly these are designed "recipes" developed by Shark and professional chefs. All I know is that it works and it allows me to press a button and walk away. Blending will stop automatically when the task is done!
One of the issues about having such a comprehensive appliance is that you may struggle to figure out how to store all of the bits and bobs that are available. We're still working on a solution to keep all of the pieces organized and easy to find!
A definite upside is that everything disassembles easily and makes clean up a lot simpler.
We learn new things about our Kitchen System every time we use it and it really is fun to experiment. I highly recommend you take a look at the Intelli-Sense Kitchen system!

Okay this is our new number one small kitchen appliance. Unpacking was a great chore, there were so many pieces and everything is well made and gr at looking. Nice solid base with super suction cups. The first thing I noticed after getting all the prices laid out is the great sleek base with the plain black screen. Looks like my range controls that don't light up till you press on the screen. This unit however lights up and set controls depending on which attachment is connected. The intelli-sense system is so neat, removes all the cluttered buttons that would be needed for all these optional devices.
Before first using all pieces were towed in the dish washer for a quick cleaning. Watch those blades, they are razor sharp, which is a good thing.
The included cook book is a great touch and was put to use for a week to try this bad boy out. It currently now has a permanent place on the counter as it looks great and is so easy to use and clean. It will get lots of use and won't be stuffed away in a cabinet like most of our tools. We didn't try thto ice cream yet but will soon, who doesn't love hm made ice cream?
For all you nitro-ninja fans you can rejoice since you can use these with the intelli-sense base. So toss or donate your old base.
The only possible gripe so far is that the suction cups are crazy strong and stick to any surface so far, that wouldn't keep me from referring this unit or make me not want to use it. It stays in place due to these super strong suction cups but it would be great to have a lever to disengage them.
All in all there is nothing wrong with this system, I will be getting rid of many appliances to replace this on unit.

One of the interesting things about this blender is that it will detect the attachment you're using and give you appropriate settings to choose from for that attachment. At least it will after you make sure the attachment is firmly seated. And there are a lot of attachments. One of the downsides of this model is that, though you're getting a lot for your money, you also have to find cabinet space to store it. Other than that, it's very easy to use. The spiralizer is very speedy, and smoothies are super smooth.

After a second Cuisinart failed due to the bowl cracking, I decided to try something new. I saw various good reviews on the product here and elsewhere, so I decided to go "all-in". I've had the product a week and so far it is performing even better than expected. I thought the spiralizer could be a gimmick, but it did great on some sweet potatoes and can see using this frequently. I tried the processing bowl on soup stock, and the pre-programmed puree setting did perfectly--beautiful consistency. Another surprise was the smoothie cup, this I definitely thought would be in the back of the cupboard unused. Instead, it is a great way to consume fruits and other healthy items. Will be using this a lot. Next up to try is the blender, but clearly from smoothie performance this thing will easily pulverize anything I care to blend.
General note--all bowls are right-sized. Cuisinart was always irritating in that even the "11-cup" larger models never seemed to have the capacity. All the attachments deal with large recipe quantities.
Only downside was the lack of a traditional grater/slicer. Fortunately a kit is available on the ninja site. Maybe Best Buy will eventually carry this.
Other comments--very loud. First time I fired it up the dog went crazy and wife nearly jumped out of her chair. We're all used to it now, and enjoying the results.

I've owned a few Ninja blenders over the years and they never fail to impress me. The Ninja Intelli-sense kitchen system is a great all inclusive blender. The thing I like most is the new gunmetal/piano black exterior and touch screen. When the blender is powered off it looks very clean and modern and when it on it looks like a technological marvel. It comes with a powerful ice crushing 1200 watt motor, traditional pitcher blender, smoothie blender, food processor bowl and my girlfriends favorite the spiral noodle maker.

The Ninja Intelli-Sense Kitchen System is just absolutely awesome. It does pretty much anything you need done. Smoothies - check, spiralize vegetables - check, sno-cones - check. The attachments attachment easily and the device is smart so it senses the attachment being used and adjusts the options available. The blades are extremely sharp and can cut through pretty much anything. This Ninja system has replaced a number of specialized appliances in my kitchen. Overall, a great, do it all system.

The Ninja Intelli-Sense Kitchen System is incredible!
First thing's first--this is HUGE. You will need some serious storage for this, as it contains a lot of very large pieces.
The good thing about that is it will replace a lot of other devices in your home. Food processor, blender, smoothie machine, french fry maker, etc--this machine will do it all. The best part is that it does it all very well. If you are missing a few things you'd like to fill in, or need to replace an item or two and feel like upgrading your kitchen this is the device for you.
The "intellisense" system is pretty cool. The base is the same for each device, but it "senses" which one you're using and adjusts it's settings and controls accordingly. From "spiralizing" (you will try this, probably first like us just because it sounds so fun haha) to "blending" to "frozen drinks" it knows what device you're using, and will tailor it's blending to fit that device. It's really neat, and works incredibly well. The spiralizer worked well on "hard" vegetables, but tended to mush up anything softer (over ripe apples in particular we had an issue with). The smoothie setting was amazing--no ice chunks at all.
Clean up is pretty easy. The touch-screen especially is very easy to clean. Nice and smooth with no buttons or crevices to get goop into. Everything disassembles easily, though the blades are VERY sharp (obviously).
The suction mounts are also a nice feature--this thing is powerful, but it feels very secure when sitting on a counter.
The only real drawbacks are that 1) the system is big--it needs counter space to operate and (as mentioned) needs a lot of space to be stored....2) it's VERY loud. Most Ninja's are like this, and it's to be expected from a blender, but it still seems louder than most.
Neither of these things should stop you from buying it if you're in the market for a system like this. It really is amazing.

Let me start by saying I love cooking at home but I am a beginner as beginner can be. I am by no means a great chef but I am able to create decent meals.
So when I received the Ninja Intellisense system I was incredibly excited.
There was so many possibilites opened up to create different kinds of meals with it, and I love that everything is so incredibly easy to use.
I highly recommend adding the ninja intellisense to your kitchen,

This system is great in the kitchen and comes with everything you need to make a variety of dishes. The many parts can seem daunting at first but I found they are all well labeled, especially the blade disks/ The only drawback is that when I simply wanted to chop some onion for a dish, the unit creamed them instead of chopped them even though I was using the pulse feature. But it does have a nice spiralizer so you can make noodles out of veggies for healthy dishes. I look forward to exploring this system more to see what else I can whip up in the kitchen.

Ninja has stepped up the game in the consumer food processing game. While the system could be made of sturdier materials they get the job done fast and efficiently. The system has earned the name ninja as it makes slicing and dicing even simpler. There are so many recipes and uses that I haven't even scratched the surface fo them all. That being said I would recommend this system to anyone who enjoys the kitchen.

First of all, it is smart enough to know which of the many attachments is actually attached. It is also extremely simple to operate and to clean - although the blades are really sharp.
When the large pitcher is attached, it has a snow cone option. How cool is that! So we put the ice cubes in, hit the power button and pressed the snow cone option.
It operates hands-free and did all of the work. We just stood there watched the count-down timer until it expired and then ta-da - snow cone fluff.
We have also made perfect smoothies and tasty frozen adult beverages. Can't wait to try the dough-maker next on some pizza dough . Highly recommend this unit!
I was really impressed with how easy and straightforward it is to use. It's really nice to have because if you're needing to blend or process something, you don't have to stop everything you are doing, you just press the button, whether you want low or high and go about your other prep.
This has got to be one of the best appliances I've ever owned and would happily get one again in a heartbeat. Also, the smoothie's so good, used a recipe from my Ninja Single Serve Brewer and it was terrific.

Great System, Impressed by the Auto-Spiralizer

We were really impressed with this system from Ninja, especially the Auto-Spiralizer. It's a great way to get a few kitchen appliances in one really elegant setup. Everything works really well and while there probably are standalone appliances that outperform the individual pieces, the overall package is really good value.
I'm a gadget guy first and foremost, so I'll start off by saying that the way this thing works is really cool. The base motor is just a black face until you power it on and attach something to it. Each attachment brings up it's own specific buttons and settings on the front display. It takes a couple of seconds for the screen to come up after you attach, but it works perfectly. There were some times when I couldn't get the screen to come up and found that I hadn't fully attached something like a lid, but I was thankful it wouldn't allow me to start working until everything was secured. I'm not sure how exactly it detects the individual pieces, but it's a pretty neat trick. All of the attachments feel very sturdy and everything is dishwasher safe - nothing delicate that needs to be washed separately, which makes cleaning very easy.
We found that everything worked very well. My opinion of Ninja was already pretty high and they did not disappoint here. The blender attachment was very similar (if a little smaller) to the Ninja Ultima blender we already had. The food processor works well, though we wish it had one of those top-loading deals our Cuisanart food processor has - the Auto-Spiralizer sort of has that functionality, but the two attachments included are for making 'pasta'. I do wish the Auto-Spiralizer had a cheese grater, but I'll get to that later.
We tried a few of the built-in programs and they more or less work as advertised running the motor in certain pulses to get the type of thing you're looking for. The built-in programs run on a timer, so you can load all of your stuff in and walk away from it. Each attachment includes manual controls in addition to the built-in programs, but it didn't look like those could be set on a timer like the programs. For ours and most other people's purposes I think the programs are adequate, though some we may never use. It's not a bad thing necessarily, but I found myself staring at the 'Snow Cone' program a lot like how I look at an app button on my Smart TV remote that I'm never going to press.
I do have to say we were really impressed with the Auto-Spiralizer. My wife thought this was going to be a total gimmick, but we ran a couple sweet potatoes through it and it was noodles in seconds. I really thought this was going to be something we'd never use, but it may be the thing we end up using the most. You get the spaghetti and fettuccine disc with it and I believe there are more available. I do wish there was a cheese grater disc because I think the spiralizer would be perfect for that, but as far as I can see that's not available.
Besides a few minor quibbles I think overall this is a really good value for everything you get. It performs well and if our experience with our previous Ninja blender is any indication I'll expect it to last a long time.

I had one of those basic blenders you can find anywhere which had a 500w motor. This one has a 1200w motor and it makes crushing ice so much better and faster. I usually use thise to make my fruit smoothies with but you can also make soups and everything else.

I was quite surprised by the Ninja kitchen system. The quality of the blenders and containers are great. This is my first Ninja kitchen product and I love using it. With the blender single serve cup I have found myself making smoothies and ice cream shakes almost daily. I love that it includes a nice simple 35 recipe book to make everything from drinks, to sauces, to meals. The recipes include which container to use and which mode to select on the blender. This system has definitely inspired me to cook more at home. Everything is easy to clean, and this kit looks great on the counter top. I had a fun time showing my family how it worked when they visited and got to prepare some frozen drinks and make dinner. This is definitely worth the buy.

My wife loves to make things homemade, everything from pasta to bread to ice cream and beyond. The Ninja is great for those items like yogurt, smoothies, tomato soup, and her own dressings. Just connect the different vessels on the top and the Ninja detects what's there to present you with the right setting options. Have not thrown out any of the old appliances just yet but hopefully will have some extra room available once more comfortable with what the Ninja can do. Good amount of power for everything we've tried so far. Might have to start making some snow cones...

I've had this system for 4yrs and have never had a problem. By far the best blender that I've ever purchased but I've never purchased the other big names either. I used to use this at least 6 times a week but now its maybe 2-3 times a week with same great results.
