First set of real knives I’ve ever had. Always wanted a nice set but just never got around too it until now. Wow, these are sharp. Only cut myself once taking them out of the box though. Didn’t even realize I was touching a blade. Ever seen those videos of someone slicing a piece of paper, right down the middle? Of course that was the first thing I tried. I actually felt like I was using a razor blade they were so sharp. Sliced a few tomatoes tonight. Could have sliced a tomato into 200 slices if I had desired. But 6 was enough. Absolutely perfect. Haven’t sliced up a steak with them yet but I’m really looking forward to it. The handles are very comfortable and ergonomic. Felt like the perfect weight balance to me. Felt natural. The built in sharpener is very easy but it’ll be a while until these need to be resharpened. Although I might as well sharpen them frequently just because it’s so simple to do. The block looks fantastic sitting on the counter with the black and stainless steel / brushed aluminum look to it. Suction cups on the bottom nicely keep it from moving around the counter. Never put these in the dishwasher though. Wash by hand and dry right away and be careful. One more time, be very careful, these are sharp!!

Ninja Foodi NeverDull Premium Knife System 12 Piece Set is a well-made premium knife set with built in sharpener. The set itself looks good on the kitchen counter. The knife blades are very sharp, made from stainless steel and smoothly cuts into any vegetable with ease. The blades run from end to end. The grip is comfortable and ergonomic, and holding the knives doesn't feel odd. The knife block has suction cups underneath that can help secure it on kitchen countertop, especially when using the sharper. This set includes scissors that is quite easy to clean as it can be taken apart. Ninja guarantees this knife set for a lifespan of 10 years. Overall, if you are looking for a mid-range quality knife set, I recommend trying this.

Honestly I was a little disappointed with the quality of this knife set. They are pretty good but not great. I'm not really a foodi but if you are you will probably want something better. I'm not sure how much knives cost nowadays but it seems to me that at this price they should be better. Ninja used to be a high quality product but they seem to have lowered their standards but not their prices. In fact they have raised these by $20 from best buy recently. I may be a bit spoiled since my previous knives were from Chicago Cutlery and are very good knives. I didn't really appreciate how good they are until I got these. Unfortunately I didn't get a full set, only three. They were basically free from my local grocery store with stamps earned by previous purchases. Not sure if they're still available but great knives. These are just OK but should be better IMO. The block is ok but not great. It does give you a convenient storage but does take up some counter top space. I'm not surprised that it includes a sharpener as these blades may not hold their edge for long if you use them a lot. The sharpener does seem nice though. It's manually powered and will likely do well. My previous experiences with a sharpener were electric and didn't work out so great. No bread knife in this set but best buy sells larger ninja sets that do have a bread knife included. I already had one that has hardly been used since I rarely slice bread. If you make your own bread or buy unsliced loaves you may want to consider this. (I do usually cut my sandwiches in half but this doesn't require a bread knife) Six steak knives included which is nice though I rarely eat steak anymore as it is so expensive nowadays. They can obviously be used as general purpose knives as well. BB also has a set with eight steak knives if you need more.

The Ninja Foodi NeverDull Premium Knife System 12 Piece Set cuts sharp as a razor with smooth movements. I cut into ginger root which is hard as soft wood without any resistance. It was similar to a hot knife cutting into butter with a straight smooth cutting action. Instead of using a vegetable peeler, the Ninja knife smoothly cut around the skin of the ginger root nice and clean. Carrots which are also hard to cut were cut so easily with no need of applying any pressure. The handles are weighed with a nice balance to keep the knives level when using them. The Ninja Foodi NeverDull Premium Knife System 12 Piece Set is a great addition to my kitchen.

What can I say that hasn’t been said about knives, they are sharp and cut stuff. Which is true about these they are extremely sharp very durable and cut with ease. Everything I tried there was a knive for them. My previous set was about 7 years old and was just not workin great anymore these state they are good for 10 years so hopefully they last that long. The sharpener is very easy to use. I used the sharpener on a older knife and it worked really well. I’m very satisfied with these set and would highly recommend.

First of all, the knives themselves are superior to other brands I have used. They are well made, have a good feel, are balanced, and have strong and sturdy blades. Cutting with these knives is a joy and the sharpness makes them safer. Being able to sharpen them readily is convenient. I always have a sharpener next to our knife block, and I’m a stickler for using it. This built in sharpener makes a difference because it forces the correct angle and does not sharpen “wrong” which can damage a blade quickly. But the block is atrocious. It’s plastic, very lightweight, and put simply, it looks and feels cheap. It takes up a huge footprint in the countertop, and is not easily moved for cleaning or to claim space for cooking. Because it’s so lightweight, it needs to be affixed to the counter with suctioned feet so it does no slide around when the sharpener is used. The first thing my wife said when she saw it on the counter: wow, that’s an eyesore. Not what you really want sitting out in the kitchen. Unfortunately I don’t think the built in sharpener benefit outweighs the bad form factor. I would rather have a separate sharpener made the same way for these knives that I can store away, and have these great blades in a more pleasing and much smaller block in the counter.

What a great knife set! First thing I did when I got this was to test out how well they worked out. I went to the store and loaded up on steaks, potatoes and other veggies. Putting the knife set together, I could tell it was a high quality and durable knife set. The knife block is plastic and feels a little cheap compared to the knives themselves, but the block is not the important part. I also liked the suction cup feet on the bottom. So its date night and I’m prepping dinner with these knives (I used the Chef knife in particular) which made light work of slicing and dicing. I kept my old knife set fairly sharp, or at least I thought I did, but the Chef knife took about 1/3 of the effort to get the job done with these veggies…potatoes and onions were done with barely any effort. Then came the steak, I bragged to my date how tender and well prepared the steak was, but we both knew it was the new steak knives. Since then I’ve used the knives for fruits and other foods and they haven’t ceased to impress me. The quality and weight of the knives makes you proud to use them, and I also like how the information of each knife is etched onto the blade. There are pretty strict instructions on how to handle, use, wash, and sharpen the blades but that’s expected for any high end knife set. Sharpening is straight forward and very simple. The sharpening stone needs to be replaced every few years based on your usage, not really a fan of that but understand the need. Ninja includes a QR code to provide assistance and information with videos and guides with care and maintenance of your new set if you are looking to maximize your use out of these. Overall it seems to be a great quality set of knives and I look forward to a long life with them. This set doesn’t have quite as many knives as I’m used to, but it does have enough for my needs. I’d recommend trying these out if you’re on the fence. The color and modern appearance of the set look great in most any kitchen.

My new favorite knife set. It was about time for a new set when my cheap knives were falling apart and I'm so happy that I got these. They are sharp and easy to use, I love the storage block so you don't have knives in a drawer . They make cooking easier

The Ninja Foodi NeverDull Premium Knife System 12 Piece Set really lives up to its name as a “Premium Knife Set”. It is very well designed and aesthetically appealing which is great for something that is going to be sitting out in the open for all to see. Including a sharpener on the block itself was a great idea and although I haven’t had to use it yet since the knives are still so new, it seems to be a high-quality sharpener which will do a great job keeping the various knives in great shape for many years to come. I also really like the general shape of the blades and handles and there isn’t really anything I can think of that would make this knife set any better. As a result, I do not hesitate at all to say the Ninja Foodi NeverDull Premium Knife System 12 Piece Set is a great knife set and I highly recommend it!

First off, these knives come already sharpened, so you don't have to sharpen each one initially. In fact, it states not to sharpen them out of the box. The knives are very sharp and the blades made of nicely weighted stainless steel. These seem like a set that will last a long time and not fall apart. The sharpener is for the knives in this set alone, so don't try and sharpen other knives. The biggest complaint I have is the block to hold the knives is kind of cheap in quality, mostly plastic. I also am not a fan of the knives stored with the blades horizontally, preferring them stored vertically. The block/base does have suction cups on the bottom, so once those are firmly attached you won't be moving it unless you use much effort. So for a basic set of knives (and kitchen scissors), this is a great set that should last a long time. They are kind of pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Best knife set at this price point! The sharpening mechanism works really well and I never have a dull knife. The only thing I would change is the large knives could be a tad bigger offering leverage when cutting larger items.

I've had this knife set for a year and a half and it's been amazing! Knives were sharp and scissors too. We used the built in sharpener as needed. Now the scissors are dull. Replacements aren't1 't available. The knives aren't really sharpening any more either. Warranty period is over. My advice is this, check out how easy replacement parts are to get first.
