This remastered is very well done. A clear bright picture for HD tvs. The sound it good, music is crisp and loud, along with the voices. Some of the background sounds seem strange and more prominent, in example the rain fall ect. I was watching this through tv speakers on a LG 65" so that may be the case. After watching for 20 minutes you get used it. This is a great movie with a nice story and lots of action. Superb animation.

When I first purchased I didn't expect it to have an awesome slipcover. Really cool movie.

Samurai ninjas and lots of action.l really enjoyed this anime.

I will start by saying that this is probably the greatest anime ninja movie of all time. The action is amazing, the villains are unique, and the story is one of the best ever told. This movie holds its place in this day and age even if it is from 1995, the quality still looks amazing compared to some of the new ones. If you never seen anime this is probably the one to start with, you will not be disappointed. There is no other movie out there like this one.

This is one of those movies that left a mark when I watch it. Definitely it has some strong content that is shocking story line wise, but putting that aside it is a masterpiece of animation. One of the most watch films if you are an anime fan. Again, disclaimers for parents, this movie is not suitable for kids.

This is a must have for anime fans. Everyone should have this movie in their collection alongside Akira, Ghost in The Shell, and pretty much every Studio Ghibli movie. The animation is great as well as the story with masterless samurai, demons, and mysterious figures all over. I've never met anyone who didnt enjoy this movie.

There is a lot of blood ,guts, violence, and nudity in this action based movie..Swinging swords, death everywhere , It kept my interest An English dub lasting 94 min. I would say it came together quite well. I would recommend it to a friend but if they have young kids,I would warn them, it might not be suitable.

This is by far one of the best anime's ever put out. The story is amazing. The characters are really well thought out. The action is intense and the plot is well done. If you don't really watch anime, this should really get you into it. Great Buy.

I picked this up only by word of mouth and high recommendations from previous viewers. I was not disappointed. The art, the action, the heart, and the gore you’d expect from a classic ninja anime movie is here. A must watch. Please do not watch it with children. There are Adult elements.

This is a blu ray of an older anime film. If you enjoy older anime style around the 90's then this is a great watch. I know a few people who can't watch older anime so if you are like this then avoid it at all cost. I love this anime style and think this is a great film.

you guys dont get it. if you havent seen this..... watch it. show it to your significant other and sit back to what is essentialy the other half of the anime movie gateway. the other being mononoke.

This is a classic that holds up well. The remastered blu-ray is nice. Great action scenes, quite violent with blood and gore, sword play and fighting. Good verses evil, love and loss, a bit of nudity....if you like Ninja battles and demon fighting you will enjoy this movie.

Ninja scroll holds a special place in my heart. It is the anime that got me into anime. The movie still holds up today. It's excellent animation and story make sure that it will be relevant for generations to come.

I love this movie probably one of the best animes out there if not top 10 for sure watch it appreciate the awesome animation unique characters in the story great movie I give it two thumbs up

Great anime film one of my favorites i wish they would make a video game about this film i first saw it as a teen like 16 or 17 years old had no idea it came out in 1986 i was about 7 years old then

An absolute anime classic. The action is intense and keeps you at the edge of your seat. Animation is wonderful and the new transfer is better than prior releases. Also, parents please be aware that this film is not suitable for children. Graphic violence, gore, and nudity.

This is an awesome movie, one of the best anime out there. got it at a great price and it's blu ray, awesome deal. if you guys haven't seen it, highly recommended

Anime must have!!!! Let your tv or 4k player upscale this baby for the best bang for your buck hopefully they will start putting out 4k anime more often until then blu ray it up baby!!!!!!!
