I got this 2ds with one of my best friends. Ive had my New 3DS with me for a few years now. and he always wanted to play the games but did not want to spend money, broke college student. this is the cheapest way to get into the huge library of games for the 3ds! its compact and small! so you can take it with you, just about anywhere!

Bought as birthday present for my son who turned 10. Of course he enjoys this very much. I did put parental settings in and a pin number also. He already made it to world 4 by the time it was his bedtime. Set up is very easy takes less than 10 minutes. Great handheld systems for kids this age and a little younger.

The thought of being without power and without Mario games had my family in a panic. The kids were out of school for 6 days and this provided ample distraction. We have 3DS XL’s, WiiU and a Switch. The 2DS is a nice addition to our Nintendo collection and everyone in the family has continued to play with it after the hurricane. Last week when the kids were in school, I had a doctor appointment so I took the 2DS with me. Four people in the waiting room asked me about it and it’s not because I had the volume up. They just wanted to know where to buy one. I highly recommend checking it out in person, and if you’re in the fence - just go for it. It’s a lot of fun for all ages.

Very happy with the performance and game quality on this least expensive of Nintendo consoles. We have the WII U and the games on this are very comparable. Didn’t want to purchase the Switch for my 9 year old just yet and find the 2DS to offer a good portable game experience for the money

My grandsons are 5 & 6, the Stylus got lost, but they are able to navigate through the toy. Presently serves its purpose, since I do not play games, I don't know how to work it or help them. that has nothing to do with the performance.

I got this for my brothers family for Christmas and they have finally beat the Mario that came on it. Its fun to play with, he has 5 kids 8 and under so you can imagine what it has endured. Still works great and no problems.

I love that Nintendo gives us an option for a more affordable handheld gaming system. The 2DS plays 3DS games, has great graphics and is very user friendly. In addition, parents can set up parental controls. Definitely recommend.

Bought for my 8 yr old son to play during a long car trip. He loves the included Mario game. I wanted to use this first as a stepping stone to a 3DS or Switch based on how responsible son is with balancing time between the gaming with school and exercise. I bought the 2DS because it was half the cost of the 2DSXL and included a game. Battery life seems great and the case is durable; it was dropped onto a hard floor and popped the back cover out of place but continued to work and with a tiny screwdriver I was able to fix the panel back into place. On a side note I grew up on Nintendo and enjoy the Mario game included.

I love the 2DS because of its durability. Purchased for a 7 year old and have no regrets. Plays all the games you can imagine, so it allows for a long console life. Highly recommend for a younger child over the XL versions.

Love it! Getting my game on is simple with the 2DS. Also, very easy to carry even though it does not fold. Would prefer better battery life, but overall great value at $80.

This was a birthday gift for my wife(daughter's idea) . My wife loves IT!! Her first gaming system ! With New Super Mario Bros. 2Game Pre-Installed adds to the fun. She loves playing with my daughter .

I bought for my 3 years old girl. I was thinking to buy the 3D for her but it was costing double than the 2DS. She really loved and playing with it very frequent.

I've had many different colored 2DS's, but this one is the most aesthetically pleasing. With a cheap pricepoint, you have access to one of the best game libraries available. I would highly recommnd.

My grandsons ages 6 and 9 love them. They take them where ever they go. I got them cases as well and it protects the screens and keeps the game cartridges safe too.

This is a great portable system, probably one of the best deals too since it comes with a game. Love that is can play regular ds games and 3ds games as well.

Pokémon is my obsession, hence why this was a perfect device to get. I could play my Nintendo ds games and my Nintendo 3ds for like $70 bucks. Never thought this purchase twice.
