Prefer the XL but this is great

The graphics are decent and there are tons of games. It’s also backwards compatible with the old DS games.

I wanted to use this first as a stepping stone to a 3DS or Switch based on how responsible son is with balancing time between the gaming with school and exercise. I bought the 2DS because it was half the cost of the 2DSXL and included a game. Battery life seems great and the case is durable; it was dropped onto a hard floor and popped the back cover out of place but continued to work and with a tiny screwdriver I was able to fix the panel back into place. On a side note I grew up on Nintendo and enjoy the Mario game included.

Nintendo 2DS Preinstalled Game

Great for young kids

I bought one for each of them and I got them this DS because it wasn't the foldable screen and it's harder to break. The kids love it and it keeps them entertained when they are allowed to play with it and I would definitely buy this product again
