My grandson picked it up and could easily operate it

Not a bad idea as a gift for special occasions like birthdays or Christmas to your young one's or someone you know who loves Nintendo games.

Not very good for older teen/adult hands, but great for younger kids. No 3d means it's easier on the eyes, too.

Bought for my wife along with Pokémon yellow. Fun to play just should’ve bought two so we could play together on some games

I had taken a break from Nintendo since I was a kid and did other gaming. Loved Pokémon, Mario, Smash Bros and other titles though. My boyfriend and I just decided to dive back into gaming of that sort and bought this model and he got the 3DS. I love this 2DS model. He got the Galaxy Design one which didn’t come with the Super Mario Bros 2 game but we bought it digitally on the store and even when our WiFi went out we can/could co-op play Mario together which was epic. The Screen is great, I personally love how it doesn’t fold. Speed of the two consoles is same or nearly the same. They are the same specs almost to the t I do believe. We’ve been playing Pokémon Yellow too lol I’d highly recommend this console. They also have apps in the store such as YouTube and I think even Netflix he said. Very epic. We don’t have to stay on the soda and use the other stationary gaming console to always watch Dr. Who or other shows anymore lol. I talk too much haha. Great Nintendo system though, truly. I am such a nerd and I recommend lol.

Bought this for my 7 year old daughter for her birthday. I know she'll love it. Especially while in the car

Fun system. Reasonably priced. My 8 yr old loves it. Only problem i have is that the stylus seems to slide out a little too easily. Other tha that its great.

I got this 2ds with one of my best friends. Ive had my New 3DS with me for a few years now. and he always wanted to play the games but did not want to spend money, broke college student. this is the cheapest way to get into the huge library of games for the 3ds! its compact and small! so you can take it with you, just about anywhere!

This little bundle is pretty awesome for a good price. The game is fun and reminds me of the good ol nes super mario days.

My son received this for Christmas and loves it. We had purchased an older DS for his birthday last summer but we wanted to play newer 3DS games. We settled for the 2DS so that he was able to play the 3DS games but with the system at a much less expensive price. All in all it is a fun system for a great price.

This version of the 2DS is better for younger kids. less moving parts. The preloaded with Mario is a fun game

The thought of being without power and without Mario games had my family in a panic. The kids were out of school for 6 days and this provided ample distraction. We have 3DS XL’s, WiiU and a Switch. The 2DS is a nice addition to our Nintendo collection and everyone in the family has continued to play with it after the hurricane. Last week when the kids were in school, I had a doctor appointment so I took the 2DS with me. Four people in the waiting room asked me about it and it’s not because I had the volume up. They just wanted to know where to buy one. I highly recommend checking it out in person, and if you’re in the fence - just go for it. It’s a lot of fun for all ages.
