I don’t usually pick up amiibo but the designs for these looked great. The Metroid is a bit squishy which is unique. Looks great on my display shelf!

First off these amiibos are the some of he bet quality one’s I’ve ever seen but if your gonna get Samus Returns for the 3DS you should get these amiibos to help you in game.

This is a must own for all Amiibo hunters out there! Metroid Prime fans, this is a must own product that will be worth having displayed.

I added to my collection of Amiibos , it’s look beautiful next to the others Amiibos.

The Metroid figure is fine, but the Samus figure on the one i ordered is missing its head.

The quality of these amiibos are superb. Top notch among all the toys to life genre. Samus is highly detailed and the Metroid is squishable! The DLC these unlock in the new metroid is a great selling point. Your not just purchasing DLC now you have something to show for it. And as always amiibo will continue to work throughout future games. Can't wait to see the unlocks for Metroid Prime 4.

As a fan of all things Metroid, the existence of a metroid amiibo became must-buy. Unfortunately, as is the trend with a lot of Nintendo products, these amiibo were hard to get a hold of. That being said, the quality of the amiibo, particularly the metroid, is great. I absolutely loved the clear squishy feel of the metroid's jellyfish-like body, though please note it really is just a thick plastic layer, so the texture was not all that special. Still, the squishy see-through material was a nice touch. The unlocks within the game are not game-breaking, but are not insignificant either. The highlight (as has been reported) is the new difficulty mode that can be unlocked with the metroid amiibo, however, it can only be accessed once the game has been completed. (As a note of caution, if you want to use the in-game unlocks provided by these, be sure your 3DS is capable of scanning amiibo by either having a newer model of 3DS or having a separate nfc reader accessory)

These are incredibly beautiful figures. The scale is bigger than usual and the details are meticulous. A must for collectors.

Functionally they are fine, offering a new difficulty level and an art gallery you can unlock after completing the game, but the real highlight of these are the design! They both look absolutely amazing, above the previous attempts from the Smash Bros. Line! You can't really appreciate how amazing the design really is till you press your finger into the squishy headed Metroid amiibo!

These have to be two of the biggest amiibo we've gotten yet. Samus is huge! The metroid is really neat too, it's shell is actually squishy and rubbery, really nice effect. Probably the best two looking amiibo out there, well worth it for fans and collectors.

Having collected amiibo since the first wave, I can say with confidence that these are some of the highest-quality amiibo to date. The attention to detail seems to just keep getting better. Yes, the metroid is squishy. So worth it.

These not only look awesome when you see them from a distance, they are super detailed and are very quality pieces compared to even all the rest of the amibo! Even if you don't collect amibo and love metroid, these are must owns!

This Amiibo 2 pack featuring Samus and a Metoid are very detailed and quite excellent quality. I especially like how the Metroid Amiibo itself is like a tiny diorama instead of just the little Metroid all by itself.

I own all the amiibo, but this one by far is my favorite set. The quality and attention to detail are fantastic. And the baby metroid is squishy! So much fun to have. If you get a chance to grab this set, do it!

The amiibo contained in this pack are some of the highest quality releases I've seen. Both of these are decent size, especially in comparison to the two Samus amiibo from the Smash Bros. series. The sculpt quality and paint job are near perfect. And little touches like the squishy sac on the Metroid are hard not to appreciate. It's unfortunate that they are the only way to unlock additional content for Samus Returns, but well worth having on your shelf.

I love amiibos with a heft to them, and boy Samus is THICK! The Metroid amiibo is nice and squishy; both of these are larger than the usual amiibos, so there's plenty of detail to admire.

Saw this and waited until preorder and now its in my hand. This a great looking amiibo even the metroid is squishy. Really nice detail looking ans great for the shelfs or to look at.

The amiibo 2 pack with Samus and Metroid are excellent figures. It unlocks a hard mode in the 3DS game. Very detailed and the Metroid is squishy which is always a plus.

First: The detail on these is a big step up from the previous Amiibo lines (excluding maybe the Breath of the Wild ones). Second: The Metroid SQUISHES! Third: Many people have said it's a bad thing that certain modes in the game are locked behind the Amiibo. I agree with that and I am against anti-consumer practices. That said, I personally look at Amiibo in general as purchasing cool figures and that's it. The content does not factor in. So, for me, it would not fit to rate lower based on that. I will leave it to others to leave negative reviews over that if they feel strongly about the content part.

I saw this while casually browsing in Best Buy and had to have it in my collection. I only have a Switch so I don't have any current Metroid games that use Amiibo, but it looks great in my collection. Samus is larger than most human Amiibo figurines and is finely detailed - better than the Smash Samus amiibo. And the Metroid is great with a malleable outer portion.
