I have been playing Splatoon 2 ever since it's Switch release and I never really thought I would find so much enjoyment out of such a what would seem to be a kiddie style shooter. But oh no. This is real. Splatoon 2 has taken shooter to a new level. I could keep going on about it , but we're to talk about Amibo. Splatoon has expanded on ts lore and added the ability to play as Octolings. And in doing this, they've added DLC to the mix that gives you a story mode to let you do just that. Now that's where these sweet little Octoling Amibo come into play. These are freaking Amibo. If you've looked at any of my previous reviews, I always end up saying " if you're an Amibo collector, these definitely need to be in your arsenal. especially if you own the game. And why wouldn't you? Again, no-brainer. Go get these, if you can find them. Y'all know how Nintendo can be.

This amiibo has a glow and shine like no other the detail is spectacular

The details on these amiibos get better and better ever time Nintendo releases new amiibos! In Splatoon 2, you can use these Octoling amiibos to take pictures with your Octoling amiibos in game, save gear load outs, save your play settings, and give you brand new gear that's only exclusive with the amiibos. These outfits can be used to play online multiplayer. Note: these outfits are mostly for aesthetic appeal. Not pay to win. * Octoling Girl: She gives you a mage/witch outfit. Enchanted Hat (Ability: Ink Saver Main), Enchanted Robe (Ability: Thermal Ink), and Enchanted Boots (Ability: Run Speed Up). Plus one exclusive song, (#5 Thirsty - DedfIsh), for the arcade game machine. * Octoling Octopus: It gives you a theme park mascot outfit. Fresh Fish Head (Ability: Comeback), Fresh Fish Gloves (Ability: Quick Super Jump), and Fresh Fish Feet (Ability: Quick Respawn). Plus one exclusive song, (#14 Crush - DedfIsh), for the arcade machine. * Octoling Boy: He gives you a knight outfit. Steel Helm (Ability: Special Charge Up), Steel Platemail (Ability: Ink Saver Sub), and Steel Greaves (Ability: Object Shredder). Plus one exclusive song, (#9 Party - DedfIsh), for the arcade machine. Overall, these amiibos are great and are very detailed. The amiibos were delivered to my house safely and were very well packaged with airbags surrounding them in a brown box. I would highly recommend getting these amiibos if you like to collect amiibo figures and if you're a big fan of all things Splatoon. :)

The amiibos are beautiful. For Splatoon 2 you can use them to save gear loadouts, save your play settings, and take pictures with the octolings in game. They also give you exclusive gear to use in online play, which are for aesthetics rather than pay to win: Octoling Boy gives a knight outfit (Steel Helm, Steel Platemail, Steel Greaves) Octoling Octopus gives the theme park mascot outfit (Fresh Fish Head, Fresh Fish Gloves, Fresh Fish Feet) Octoling Girl gives the witch/mage outfit (Enchanted Hat, Enchanted Robe, Enchanted Boots) And they each give a different exclusive song for the arcade machine in game. I got these shipped to my home and the box came well packaged (between air bags in a brown box). These octoling amiibos are a great gift for any Splatoon fan and/or amiibo collector!

As a collector, you definitely want to pick up these, especially considering the popularity of Splatoon. Of course, the quality of them are great, they are Nintendo products. The content they unlock in game is definitely welcome and cool to have, but the mascot costume is weird and the effects they have are great but not the best. For collectors and fans of splatoon, I'd recommend this item

Based of the Octolings in the game, this amiibo set captures their likeness very well.

These amiibo are great. The models are looking great with very vivid colors and finishing touches. They unlock some outfits in Splatoon 2, but they make great collectibles on their own too

I really like this amiibo. They are well detailed and have such a unique look to them. These latest amiibo are so we'll crafted compared to earlier releases.

These amiibo are both great in design and function. I really like the Octolings and these have slightly less used weapons with the E-liter and Octobrush (just for the figure design). For function it is awesome to me that you get new gear with the amiibo (kind of weird that they don't all unlock on the same day) and the gear looks great! Excellent amiibo to display and use in Splatoon 2.

Amiibos are a collector's pride, each has been designed in perfect detail of their character, the color accuracy and their designs go beyond what is expected of a mass produced affordable figure. Each of these compatible with a wide variety of games across Nintendo consoles to bring extra items/customizations to the games.

Of all of the amiibo series that Nintendo has produced, Splatoon is up there with the Legend of Zelda amiibo in quality. Beautifully vibrant colors, amazing detail that improved as the series added Callie/Marie, Splatoon 2, Marina/Pearl, and now the Octolings. This Octoling set is fantastically neon and shiny, I love it.

Great to see something other than Inklings get amiibo! This set is nicely detailed and sculpted. They also have a great sense of mood in each of their faces (especially the boy and octopus) Definitely pick these ones up if you're a Splatoon fan!

These figures look amazing, I can’t decide which is my favorite. I had no problems using them with my Splatoon 2 game, outfits were unlocked and I was able to save my load outs to each one (necessary to do in order to get the full clothing sets).

Finally the Octolings come in Amiibo form after their release on Splatoon 2 back in June! These figures are not only awesome looking but they unlock cool gear for in game use like a cute little witches outfit! Definitely worth the price!

They're amiibo, not much to say about them. Connect them to your games get stuff, but I like them because I adore Splatoon figures and they're nicely detailed, no major issues on color, and fun to have on my shelf.

Reviewing these is kind of silly. You scan them into Splatoon 2 and they give you stuff, that's about it. I give the five star rating based on the quality of the figures themselves. They look awesome

These 3 amibo each give you a special set of equipment in Splatoon 2. One of them, the witch outfit, I like a lot. The amiibo themselves are very good quality and haves lots of little detail.

This Amiibos look really cool and include some awesome gear for Online. If you are into Amiibos or play Splatoon 2 I would definitely recommend picking these up while you can.

I love this three pack. The gear that you get in the game from them is pretty nice. They are definitely make well and are a great addition to you collection, if you do that.
