    I honestly can't remember who Mabel is though I only played the first couple Animal Crossing games. As an Amiibo there's no reason to buy this character other than for collecting. As a generic toy it's cute and has a decent paint job. On clearance is was cheaper than any other toy of similar size but not worth it at full price.

    The games that support the Animal Crossing line of amiibo are slim in regard to them functioning as actual Animal Crossing amiibo. Other games merely provide generic items when the Animal Crossing amiibo are used with them (such as Hyrule Warriors). Otherwise, they are definitely cute and a must have for any Nintendo amiibo fan.

    An amiibo add new items for some game and other a new character. So depending on the game it will give you new thing that you will never get unless you have amiibos.
