Tom Nook is easily one of the most iconic Animal Crossing Characters. Very detailed figure for under 2 bucks? SOLD

These have been around a while now but if implemented correctly (and this one does), they do add to the game.

This figurine, while rather cheap and very good looking, suffers from having little to no usefulness as a Nintendo amiibo, having limited and poor compatibility with the software it's supposed to interact with. In Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, you can build this character a house if you have the amiibo. You can also do it without the amiibo, although how long it takes to do that is completely random. In Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, you can use this character in the main game, and in fact have to. Unfortunately, the unique functionality of the character is limited to flavor text, and there no mini games you can play with just the amiibo. You will probably will not want to play this game, as it is repetitive and requires no actual skill even a little to complete as it doesn't really have a game component. This figurine also unlocks costumes in Super Mario Maker and Mariokart 8 you can unlock either in game or with another figurine anyway. In short, don't buy this figurine unless you want to have a nice looking figure of this character. Otherwise, you will greatly regret the purchase.

These amiibo figures are very cute. My young son loves it. He enjoys having the toy and seeing it on the game.

Great for those with ab Nintendo 3DS or Wii U. It definitely complementes and adds fun to animal farm

Collected all smash and Zelda amiibos. First animal crossing for eventual animal crossing switch.

I only bought this amiibo since it was on clearance. It looks good and I love animal crossing.

Tom Nook's likeness is uncanny in this wonderful recreation of him as a figure. Nintendo doesn't slack off when it comes quality control on their Amiibos, making them a great, inexpensive gift for even those who don't use Amiibo games, and instead collect figures.

The price was right and it can be used on the Switch for Breath of the Wild - don't really get anything all that interesting (e.g. food), but you can use it once a day. Looking forward to an Animal Crossing game on the Switch to see how it extends game play.

This little guy will rock your world on animal crossing. Also gives you food in BOTW.

Tom Nook is a cool character, but doesn't work with many games. Would recommend a Smash amiibo like Ganondorf or Bowser over Nook.

My daughter wanted these, and they were on clearance for almost nothing, so worth it, but they don't really do much.

I've been considering making custom amiibo figures for a while now, and since my local store had this feller on sale for a diddly-dang dollar, it's the perfect chance for me to make a figure with a legit amiibo base. Now the hard part begins...

I bougt this on sale for next to nothing and I love the look of the figure and the packaging. Haven't used it yet so I can't comment on its usefulness in game. However, this was an in store pick up and Best Buy placed a giant, extremely sticky sticker on the package. Removing it was tricky and left a residue on the package. This is a collectible item, so that's inexcusable.

Picked up my order without any issues. Nice addition to my collection.

Who doesn't want the annoying Tom Nook on their gaming shelf? Pro tip: make it complete by drawing a cartoon bubble above his head that says "you need 8,000 bells for that"...it will be like the videogame in real life!

This pocket sized cutie is a lot less money-grubbing than his in-game self. Great for displaying with the other Animal Crossing amiibo, or can be microwaved as retribution for his in-game ripoffs. (Please don't actually microwave it)
