Bought Tom Nook for the nostalgia factor. During my Gamecube days in Animal Crossing, I invested a lot of bells into his shop, and he never failed to provide hot deals.

Tom Nook is my favorite AC Amiibo. While the AC Amiibo are relatively modest aesthetically compared to the other collections, they are incredibly cheap and easy to find. Making them a great starting point for collectors.

And I got him for 79 cents on sale with my best buy GCU card! I mean, it's the Tom Nook! For 79 cents! Easy purchase, adorable Amiibo, and best buy does a good job of not bending the packaging like Amazon does.

I love collecting all these little guys from my favorite games. Be careful when transporting them though, the plastic tends to come off of the cardboard easily which could potential ruin their collector status.

Mine came a little damaged but otherwise its awesome.

I picked up several of these on clearance because I just couldn't help myself. I would imagine an Animal Crossing game will come out on the Switch eventually, so I'll be prepared when that happens! :)

Figure is good but I only use it for Animal Crossing.

The games that support the Animal Crossing line of amiibo are slim in regard to them functioning as actual Animal Crossing amiibo. Other games merely provide generic items when the Animal Crossing amiibo are used with them (such as Hyrule Warriors). Otherwise, they are definitely cute and a must have for any Nintendo amiibo fan.

This was one of those buys that I only made when it was on clearance. I would not go out of my way for most amiibos in general. Especially the Animal Crossing ones. But I got this for $4 on clearance. So, why not? If you like Animal Crossing and what these bring to the game, then at this price - it's a nice deal.

Its a good looking amiibo, however seems to only function with Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival game, which is ok, but not the best game. Hopefully more functions will work with this amiibo now that the new Nintendo Switch is out!
