Improved on the Splatoon 1 amiibo design. The purple squid uses different paints and is much taller to make a beautiful amiibo design.

The way it's posed to the vivid purple color of this Squid makes it one of my favorite amiibo. It looks great next to my other Splatoon amiibo.

These just keep getting better and better! 10x better than the original Splatoon amiibo in design and color. Done in the same style as Callie and Marie. Some solid in-game prizes. Love it!

I don't collect the Amiibo for the in-game benefits (which tend to be minor)... I collect them to collect them. They're fun little figurines and look nice on display. If you like Splatoon and you collect Amiibo, then you'll want this one.

To any Splatoon fans and/or amiibo collectors, this is another great addition to the amiibo series. Although there is a noticeable seam on the top of the figure when looking at it from behind, it is colorful and has a fun pose; I especially like how the paint is incorporated on the base and is what holds the squid figure up. On top of that, it does provide some useful in game functionality such as gear and saving loadouts.

Almost as cool as Splatoon 2, itself. Easily the coolest looking amiibo of 2017 and the entire Splatoon series. Must have. Even the box is cool.

The new Splatoon 2 amiibo figurines are incredibly detailed, shinier and more eye-catching than the original Splatoon group. Only complaint is that they are awkward to use in the game.

Ok, I've nearly become a Splatoon fan overnight. It's hard to explain to those who haven't tried it, but I recommend giving it a go if you've got a Switch. This amiibo is one of the cooler looking ones out there. IMO, it's bigger than what the pictures show. It also unlocks special in-game armor: a full-metal suit.

It actually looks like it's fluid, with the connecting material managing to hide how solid it actually is. I also like that it stands taller next to the original Squid amiibo while technically having similar dimensions for the squid itself, again making the bottom portion feel more like trailing paint.

I am an amiibo collector, so understand that this review has some bias. However, this design, to me, is gorgeous and dynamic and makes an excellent addition to my collection. It doesn't have the most expansive usage in-game, but it looks great on the shelf alongside the other amiibo!

This unit was one of the lesser appreciated ones, so its nice to see it wasn't just another recolor as the first two were. This squid is bigger than the previous two iterations and lots of high-vis paint and glossy shinyness to follow. Works swell with Splatoon 2.

This version of the squid looks A LOT better than the orange and green ones from the original Splatoon. This one is also the hardest of the new wave of Splatoon amiibo to hit (so if you see it jump on it). It is bigger and more detailed than the older ones too.

This such a great design for an amiibo!! Nintendo keeps improving the design!

Great looking Amiibo, works well with a Wii U or on the Nintendo Switch.

This squid blows away the one from the first splatoon. Looks great!

Everything about this amiibo is awesome! The size of it, the smooth texture, the splash of ink that is displayed! It is really detailed! it's one of the harder ones to get so if you see it around, go ahead and pick it up!
