I enjoy collecting and being gold it's kind of just a way to reuse existing sculpts and reissue the same thing yet again. However I enjoy that it's done up to resemble a gold statue and bought into it anyway.

The gold version of these amiibos have abilities that can be used in more than one game and who if any but the face of Nintendo games since forever. Good for the Mario level making game and Mario party. Enjoy

Fantastic quality and somehow best buy got extra allotment when the nes mini launched. This one was really rare and still it. Happy to have it added to my collection thanks to a local Best Buy!! Thank you!

Finally the gold Mario amiibo is available to buy. Glad to add to my collection. Glad I didn't have to wait in line to get this one. If you had a hard time getting this one, now is your chance. Go get it.

I will admit, this one has lost some of its luster after having such a wide release, but then again, who can say no to a golden Mario? ... Probably several people, but clearly I wasn't one of them.

I like these figures for the beautiful way they are sculpted and painted. No crazy eyes or mismatched colors. I enjoy their aesthetic more than their gaming functionality which is a nice benefit.

I think it was rare to find them. I was told the same by the person that received as a present. Was super excited for receiving it. Nice find. Happy hunting... anyone that is looking for it.

This is a really neat idea to have a secondary amiibo stylized in gold for a well known character such as Mario. A video game icon who deserves a gold status label. Looks great on the shelf!

This amiibo is compatible on any title that uses a mario amiibo including smash bros and mario party. It does unlock special content other mario amiibo won't on super mario maker for wii u.

Definitely recommend grabbing this Gold Mario to add to the amiibo collection since this amiibo was originally an Walmart exclusive at first and was quite hard to get back then.

I believe this amiibo was a retailer exclusive at one point. This was another hard to find Amiibo. Kudos to Best Buy for stocking this amiibo. My son loves his gold Mario Amiibo!

This is a great addition to my collection. It's pretty awesome looking in the rich gold tone color with the classic pose. I was lucky enough to score it before it sold out.

After over a year of being labeled as a one-time exclusive, Gold Mario is finally back, giving casual and hardcore amiibo collectors alike a fair chance at picking one up!

My happy moment: realize that Best Buy didn't put a sticker in the front of the package (they still use a sticker but in the back). Finally have my Gold Mario Amiibo!

I put soooo much effort into getting this when it was a Walmart exclusive and now it's back. A bit of a shame for collectors, but it's still a really nice Amiibo.

I was always seeing you tube that supposedly this golden mario was rare & was being send for alot of certain money...luckily I got mines reg price in bestbuy :)

I was not crazy enough to spend $100 dollars on ebay for this after it first came out in limited numbers. Very glad I didn't now that it has been re-released.

This is definitely one of a kind amiibo that was so hard to find now available here definitely worth collecting. And is compatible with Mario Party on WiiU

Hard to find Amiibo, Best Buy came through again, I can always count on Best Buy for great, hard to find Amiibos. Another great addition to my collection.
