it used to be a wal mart exclusive. never got it. i happened to walk in to best buy and there it was. i jumped at the opportunity and i finally got it

Although the Amiibo craze has died down since last year, Gold Mario was still super rare until now. Really happy that Nintendo chose to reprint these.

Glad I waited to buy this one for $7.99 from Best Buy around Black Friday, especially since it's been hard to find for less than $30 or so online.

It's like regular Mario, but it's-a golden, so it's-a better. (Not as expensive as it would be if it were actually real gold, thankfully.)

My son likes to collect amibos and this is the one that he wanted most. He was able to use it in MaroKart 8 and Mario Maker.

Just like the photo, it's a gold Mario. The first one went missing and Best Buy sent a replacement. Yayyyyy for Best Buy.

All the amiibo are hand painted and as always, they look great! This one is no exception. Great to add to the collection.

This amiibo was so hard to come by when it first came out but found it and it's amazing. Worth it for any collector

I like to collect amiibos and I'm glad that it got re-released at Best Buy because I can take advantage of My Gamer's Club rewards benefits and get 20% off when I purchase games and some accessories. The only difference between this release and the first print is that this version has the paper cup on the bottom to prevent the figure from being read/written while inside the box.
