I got this to unlock the amiibo mode for Mario party 10. That mode sucks. Small game board and paper animations. But the review itself is for the Yoshi Aniibo, which is pretty cool, but itself as a toy is not worth the price. Also works for super smash bros but I have not tried as you can't use a single amiibo for multiple games.

I've been looking forward to all of the Mario Party 10 Amiibo's release. They are all well detailed and larger than the Smash Bros versions. If you are a Nintendo fan and collector I would highly recommend. You'll also save 20% if you are a Best Buy Gamer Club Unlocked Member.

I like this version of Yoshi better than the other one from the Smash Bros series, but I wish he'd been blue or something else in addition to the new pose. IMHO the entire Super Mario line is a little lackluster, not in terms of the figures, which are high quality, but in terms of their lack of variation from the Smash Bros line. Yes, they're different poses, but they range from the "is there a difference at all?" (Bowser) to the "Um, okay, it's different enough...I guess", and to me that's disappointing.

If your looking to have a nice looking nintendo collectible item or figure amiibo is where it is at right now. they are very nicely detailed and also add some enhancement to your gaming on certain games. and collecting them is quite a fun hobby.

We actually waited for this version of Yoshi and have not been disappointed. The Super Mario lineup is a little sturdier than the Smash Bros lineup, and the figures take on simpler poses. Works with Mario Party or Smash.

This Amiibo is bigger than the Smash Brothers version. As for the pose, it really depends on which one you like. However, if you purchased the new wave of (Mario Kingdom) Amiibos that came out such as the new Mario, Peach, Toad, etc, you'll notice that each figure is slightly taller than the Smash Brothers series. So, if most of your Amiibos are from the Mario Kingdom series, you may want the bigger Yoshi as well.

The detail is great , it's sitting on my desk speaker at the moment when I received it I used it on Mario kart to unlock the costume for my mii. Most likely the only one I will buy Yoshi is my fav

The wide selection of Amiibos add more features and upgrades to the characters in many of the Nintendo games for the Wii U, 3DS and 2DS .The 2DS requires the extra reader adapter .The figures are solid and well made. The kids like to collect them as many of the popular Nintendo characters like Mario are represented. We use them with our 2DS and Wii U. They are nice collectables plus they are functional for many of the Nintendo games.

I like this Yoshi Amiibo more than the Smash Bros one. He is so cute. This Amiibo is great and works with several of the Amiibo compatible games. Must by if you have many popular Wii U games.

If you know about Amiibo then you know the basics anyways. This Yoshi worked perfectly and is a great addition to the collection. Best Buy had him in stock and well priced.

I buy these as collector's items, but this is perfect for anyone who loves Nintendo. Yoshi currently has a few amiibo versions available as of this writing, but this is the version that sticks to the main Mario series the best. Great detail and true to the video game series in every way. Whether you have the games to go with the amiibo or not, it's a must-have for any Nintendo fan.

I received this as a gift, partly due to the fact that my girlfriend likes Yoshi. So do I, and this makes for a great gift or addition to an amiibo collection.

I bought this as a gift for a Yoshi Nintendo fan. It was love at first sight when they opened it up. These figurines are quite detailed and does not feel cheap.

I think that these amiibo's are a fun concept. I use them to play Mario Party. It's a lot of fun and gives a real board game theme (having to move your piece).

I really like the design of this figure more that the SSB version. They are a great addition to many games and for Nintendo collectors they are a must have.

The new Yoshi amiibo from the Mario Party wave is slightly bigger than the Smash version. Definitely recommend if you're collecting all the amiibos!

I bought this mainly for display, not for playing, and I couldn't be happier. It's simple, yet very nice to look at. Needed in any game room.

It looks like Yoshi, the paint job is good and it works with plenty of Nintendo games. It's use is simple but I like it as a collectible.

This Yoshi is taller than the Smash Brothers variation of Yoshi. Overall, he looks similar in detail and only has a difference stance.

If you compare the new Mario Party Amiibos to the Super Smash ones, you see a huge difference in quality. This Yoshi looks beautiful!
