First off let me say that scalpers and thieves do no reflect on the product and it's purpose. However if you're lucky enough to find this 3 pack for msrp, get it otherwise you're stuck with two options. Paying way to much for what these are worth. Sometimes even 4 times the cost. Waiting for a long time for these to be re-released when they're no longer relevant. I was lucky and Best Buy I found was selling them for about 30 bucks or so, I was glad for that because these are awesome.

I love splatoon, and this is the perfect collectors set. The items you unlock are wonderful, and great for pvp in game. Also adds an awesome amount of replay time for single player. The green squid you can't get anywhere else, so it's perfect. They're also super detailed! As with most amiibos.

These are probably the best-made amiibo yet, with such details as variable shading and finish on the tentacles, partially filled transparent ink tanks, and translucent tanks on the guns. Also feel very sturdy and durable. The content they unlock is nice, too: special challenge versions of single player missions to earn special equipment. No real complaints at all.

I don't currently have the game, but I am planning to in the near future after playing the global test fire before the game's launch. Playing that is why I'm glad I decided to get the amiibo, which were kind of an impulse buy. Each amiibo will give you challenges to perform in-game so I'll be using them for this. The amiibo look great and mine came in perfect condition. The shipping would probably be bad for New in Box collectors. The way it was packed the box got bent a little, which is fine since I take them out anyway. Also, getting the 3-pack in the US is the only way to get the squid (unless you import), which is why I got the 3-pack over the individual Boy & Girl inklings.

These figures look fantastic, and it seems Nintendo is upping the quality of amiibos every wave. Everything is colorful and exact, with fantastic attention to detail. In terms of in game content, these so far only work for Splatoon for Wii U. They provide extra single player mode challenges, which is a nice bonus and definitely above average for amiibo game content. These figures may be fairly rare, however, due to incredible consumer demand, so hopefully Nintendo manages to fill this demand so everyone who wants one can have one!

These are the most detailed amiibo figures that I've seen to date! Everything from the eye catching colors to the clear tanks on the Inklings' backs with ink inside demonstrates the complexity that went into creating these figures. If this is a sign of where the quality of future amiibo are going, hold on to your wallets! Now, if only Nintendo produced amiibo in enough quantities... I feel lucky to have been able to find mine...

Quality on the models is pretty good, which I've come to expect from the amiibo line. These currently only work with the Splatoon video game, but I wouldn't be surprised to see that expanded as Nintendo seems to have big plans for the Splatoon line. As far as functionality goes, they add a new set of challenge levels based off of the original campaign levels which adds a lot of fun and replayability.

I was actually very surprised in the level of detail put into the Splatoon amiibo. They're just as good (if not better!) as the Super Smash Bros. line. They're definitely high quality. Not to mention how much content the amiibo unlock for the game. Amazing.

This amiibo set is great for fans of the new multiplayer shooter Splatoon. Each character unlocks 20 missions that you can play as you beat the single player campaign. This set is the only way to get the inkling squid and it's extremely hard challenges.

These figures are nice quality. Compared to the other amiibo, they seem very unique. They don't have some transparent block or wedge needed to hold them up. They are very nicely detailed and this pack is the only way to get a US Squid amiibo new.

Amiibo are cool pieces of plastic that have nifty functions with Nintendo games. Unfortunately, they're extremely rare because Nintendo sucks like that. Side effects of amiibo purchase may include addiction and an empty wallet.

Alright, most people get Amiibo because they make for cool figurines. Well, these are some of the best looking yet but they also introduce some nice features in-game. You need to understand that when you play the single player campaign in Splatoon it's only done with 1 gun, the splattershot. Squid girl remixes the single-player campaign so that you can go through it with a charger (sniper rifle). If you complete all the challenges you unlock a school girl/boy outfit. The squid allows you to do single player as a Kraken and has timed or limited ink challenges and will unlock a power suit. The Squid boy has you go through the single-player campaign with a roller and will unlock a samurai warrior outfit. Good stuff.

These Splatoon Amiibos are great. They are well made and offer unique challenges to the game that unlock equipment and alternate 8-bit games that can be played while waiting to join an online match.

Each of these Inklings are well crafter. They also bring more content to Splatoon, which the content is great. I like the visual style of the amiibo. I hope these can become used in other games as well.

These amiibo are made with extreme detail. They look exactly like their gaming counterparts. Also, you get the exclusive Inkling amiibo that you can only get if you get the three pack.

3 pack. What a selling hook, the squid amiibo is only on the 3 pack. Sadly you may need another 3 pack if you are collecting as you have to use the squid to get the new stuff.

I really like these amiibo and think the detail on them is really good. They also have great functionality with Splatoon so they are definitely worth the investment.

Not the most detailed figures you'll ever find, but for the price they're fairly detailed, and well painted. Only real complaint might be that certain parts are attached like a gun being attached to knee, but that's not unjustifiable for the price of each. Plus of course, there's the Splatoon DLC for having each of them. A schoolgirl outfit for the female inkling, samurai outfit for the male inkling, and some kinda futuristic robot for the squid inkling. Oh plus the challenges you do to unlock them, each unlocks like 20 levels of single player you do to get the gear. It's just single player maps reused to have you use different weapons, or time/ink challenges for the squid. Fairly good though. As well as the outfits you can also unlock a reskin for each weapon type, and an arcade game you can play while waiting in multiplayer lobby or just in the main area. Hardly necessary to own to enjoy Splatoon or anything, but not a bad thing for a collector or fan of outfits, if you can manage to find it.

All three of these amiibo look great and their details shine once you've actually played the game; their generic look turned me off at first, but that's just how the game is. It's fun regardless. These three figures essentially add bonus objectives to each level in the 1-player story mode, allowing the player to do them over again for gold and, eventually, armor and a weapon. The female inkling makes you do each level with a sniper; the male inkling does the same with a paint roller; the squid gives you a time limit. I removed a star from the review because, honestly, the DLC is extremely redundant. The levels are entertaining the first time through, but repeating them just feels like a chore. I found myself finishing them entirely for the loot rather than the enjoyment that I feel from the rest of the game's modes.

These figures looks great with the creative poses and bright colors. In the Splatoon game for Wii U each amiibo unlock daily missions that you can complete for access to gear unlockable only by this method. The squid amiibo is also exclusive to this 3-pack unless you buy the individual squid amiibo from Japan.
