I barely got one of these dream machines. I mainly got it to play the older virtual games: Original Pokemon colors, Legend of Zelda, Mega Man, Metroid, etc. Since I've loved having this thing in my pocket. I found the XL to be just too big and it would have limited me carrying it around. This is just right. Bring back more for the holiday season!

The games on the 3DS are what made this system so successful for so long, and I knew that. What I didn't know was how much fun I would have playing them. I purchased this for my kids and found myself having a blast with Mario Maker and Pokemon. Then I went and got Fire Emblem, if you really love video games, you should own one of these.

I believe this is the first time I bought a video game console that I felt was worth the price. $99! We purchased one for our son and a second for mom and dad. All three of us love the purchase and enjoy playing together and solo. From new games to old classics, what's not to love. Used games are plentiful. Great buy!

Due to the fact that the "New" Nintendo 3DS was never released outside of Japan, this is a great buy. Has everything that the XL has but is smaller. I am mainly one that likes the "Go big or go home" but with having the 3DS XL (Not the New) and feeling like my hands were going to fall off, this is great.

My son loves his new 3ds. The only thing I would say is make sure you read that the charger does NOT come with this. I didn't read the fine print. I mean...what electronic item do you buy that does not include a charger? Other than that...this was a great Black friday purchase.

My son was always taking my wife's 3dsxl so we decided to get him his own. This is great for the kids its a little smaller which is better for his smaller hands. It seems to be just as powerful as its bigger brother though. I really like this platform great kid friendly games

I've had a number of 3DS systems, but this is by far my favorite. It's super portable compared to the XL model, allowing anyone to take it anywhere. Plus, it has the feature to change out the faceplates for full customization. I definitely recommend this to any Nintendo fan.

I got this on last year blackfriday, still playing with it. I love it so much!!!

My 5year old daughter got this as an Xmas gift. She hasn't put it down since getting it. Her favorite games to play is pokemon and Disney art Academy. It seems easy enough for her to play. It's a life savior when we have to go somewhere and it's a long wait.

This deal was great, I fell in love with the design once I took it out the box and put it to work with the new pokemon moon game. The graphics are amazing and the system overall is very solid. This new era of gaming from nintendo has me excited for more!

I bought this on Black Friday this year and even if I didn't want to upgrade the $100 price tag was just too good to pass up! I had one of the original 3DS consoles because of the color, but things are a lot faster now and I'm happy with my purchase!

This is a great little system. Nintendo puts out awesome games for their systems, and this one does not fail to disappoint. My only complaint would be the 3-D messes with my eyes, but you can turn it way down or even off and enjoy the games.

The only gripes I have with this item are the screws used to secure the back plate and the fact that this model (in it's exclusive coloring) only just now came to the states. The New Nintendo 3DS has been excluded from the North American market since the release of the console update back in 2014. We were given special versions sparsely since then with extremely limited edition models which were almost always scalped and sold at ridiculous upticks to the prices via third party sellers before most fans could even get into establishments to purchase them, unless of course you pre-ordered them. With the history of recent issues regarding new hardware and software, it's hard to trust purchasing something before it's had some time to prove itself on the market. The screws on the console are the same as the ones they've used throughout the life of the 3DS, which are easily stripped, and if that is the case and something goes wrong with the hardware, the item becomes un-repairable. This console is fast to download programs from the e-shop, it's quick to switch between apps, and the exclusive black base coloring is the first that North America has had access to for the New Nintendo 3DS. It's unfortunate that we only just got this particular piece of hardware a few months before the release of the Nintendo Switch which I believe (whether Nintendo will admit it or not) will replace both the 3DS portable console family and Wii-U home console family going forward in March 2017.

I did not realize when I went to buy this product that it did not come with an AC adapter. I was lucky that the sales representative let me know that. Also something to note is that this is not an XL. For the price, it was a great purchase.

I have only tried the original 3DS but never owned one but my impression from the original 3D was that it slightly hurt my eyes. The New 3DS doesn't bother my eyes at all. As far as the console goes it's great for mobile Mario and Zelda :)

This Nintendo 3DS is amazing - not as big and clunky as the XL and perfect for gamers with smaller hands - like kids. We purchased this for our 7 year old and he loves it! Great graphics and super games. He takes it everywhere he goes!

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend. It looks sturdy, plays well, and he really enjoys it! I would have bought one for myself since it was the perfect size for me, but there weren't any left. But it was well worth the money I spent!
