Best Buy is the best! I preordered a long time ago when the coin wasn't offered yet. But, they sent me an email stating since I have preordered, they automatically added the collectible coin. I really appreciated the gesture. And, it's a nice item to add in your gaming collection...

I can't really complain about getting something for free. The coin itself feels heavy and well made. It is a neat little trinket to throw in as another "thank you" for purchasing the game. I don't think I would buy it on its own, but as a freebie, it is a cool addition to the game.

My first thought when I got this item when buying the game at launch day was that it could be Amibo compatible. Sadly it is not, but only a nice collectors item. It is a real coin made of some sort of metal that I cannot tell. It's a nice touch but really doesn't serve any purpose.

Nice quality coin. We weren't sure how to open the plastic case or even if it is supposed to open, but I accidentally dropped it and the case popped open. Coin is nice quality. I was surprised after buying the game to get an email saying I had the free coin coming. Nice surprise!

This coin encouraged me to pre-order Super Mario Odyssey at Best Buy. Coupled with the 20% from players club, and $10 back in rewards, it was a no brainer. The coin is heavy and comes in a clear plastic case. Packaged inside small plastic back stapled together with cardboard tag.

This came free with my pre-order of Mario Odyssey. I can't really dock any points for it, since it is exactly what it tries to be. It comes in a protective plastic covering, so that's good if you're into collecting this sort of stuff. I just don't see the point in general.

I bought Mario Odyssey at Best Buy because this was the only preorder bonus I could find at any store near me, and it’s a pretty cool one, at that. The coin is a little bigger and a LOT heavier than I had expected, so it feels a lot more substantial than I anticipated.

I received this coin as a bonus for pre-ordering Super Mario Odyssey for the Nintendo Switch. I don't know if you have ever seen a coin before, but whoa. It is golden and shiny. It came right out of the game. If you like to collect coins like Mario, this is a must have.

One of the main tasks of any Mario game is to collect coins, so having this coin to collect is a perfect choice for the game it came with! It's a bit smaller than a half-dollar coin, but larger and thicker than a quarter. I will be holding on to this for a very long time.

I didn't even know pre-ordering Super Mario Odyssey included this coin, so this is a happy surprise. The coin is very much coin like. It's larger than a quarter, but smaller than a challenge coin. It does everything a coin should, and none of the things a coin shouldn't.

It's a coin with a cap and a world. The game is where the real fun is - here is my review of the game: A masterpiece! With this and Zelda, Nintendo has created #1 and #2 contenders for Game of the Year! If you don't own a Nintendo Switch, now is the time to get one!

I’m a little shocked Best Buy is going to give me points for reviewing this, but here it goes. I really enjoy this coin, the weight is what you would expect. It will probably be lost in my son’s room, hopefully I will find it in a few years when he moves on to college.

I was surprised when no other major gaming retailer had any preorder bonuses for such a high demand title. GamersClub is great enough with 20% off new games but a small preorder bonus with this coin just makes you feel alittle more appreciated for buying from Best Buy!

This is the best coin I have ever received from Best Buy. It is gold and lovely. I do not know how I would have gotten along without it

Exclusive Best buy bonus for pre-order of super Mario Odyssey game. Just another reason why I choose Best buy for all of my game preorders. Love that it was individually sealed and not stuffed into the game case either. Will certainly be adding this to the collection

GameStop was giving a map as a preorder perk....honestly whydo I want a map for I have one in game and like the sense of discovery. Bestbuy by far got it right with this exclusive preorder coin. Looks great and comes in a protective collectors case. Not bad for free.

I received this with my purchase of Mario Odyssey. It is a cool little collectible. I don't know what the resale value of it will be, but I suppose for the price that I got it for (free, with purchase of the game) I can afford to hold on to it and see in 10-20 years.

Having placed about 10 hours into the game I can confidently say this Mario entry is fantastic and great for people of all ages. The mechanics are fun and the new hat possession ability is fun and adds so much creativity to the game. A must buy for any switch owner.

This coin has literally changed my life. This coin is the life of the party. When things are getting boring I whip it out and people are like "gosh dam doggie were did you get that coin at"? I'm like "best buy G" and there like "tell me more" and I'm like "okay"!

I preordered Mario when it was first available. Later i saw that this coin was being included. Best Buy was not very clear on if it was going to be included with earlier preorders and seemed to have different answers from different queries. It's a very nice coin.
