This coin is pretty cool and in a plastic case just like the one that came with the Breath of The Wild Special Edition. Little things like this usually grow in value over time. Don't forget to get yours with Mario Odyssey, its free that way.

Kind of a neat throw in for pre-orders, but other than sitting on a desk or shelf there is not much else to do with it. It is a collectible coin, so if you already collect coins or think of a board or card game where you can use it as a marker or playing piece, then that would improve the value some.

I actually have started collecting these! I have a launch Super Mario Sunshine coin from Toys R Us, I have a Luigi Anniversary coin and now I got the Odyssey coin (although it’s not as nice as the others).... so it’s kind of becoming a unanticipated trend and I really enjoy them! Keep em coming!

It's a coin. I got it for free with the game. It sits with my other collectibles and has a pretty good finish. Maybe it will be worth something, maybe it won't. I'm glad Best Buy did this little extra. I would have bought the game anyway.

This is a great high quality gold coin. The picture is very nice and the coin is thick and heavy. Doesn't feel cheap. It's also preotected by a hard clear plastic case around the coin and comes packaged in a plastic bag. Very nice bonus.

Not too much to say. It's a collectible coin for Super Mario Oddyssey with Cappy + logo on front and a simple globe on back. It's got a nice weight to it and the details don't feel like they would wear off from showing off casually.

It's one of those standard Nintendo collectible coins. The coin has a matte metallic finish and is enclosed in a round plastic case that can be opened. The packaging is a plastic bag so there's a risk of the plastic case cracking during delivery. Mine had a little clump of glue on the inside.

The coin is a nice token to commemorate the Super Mario Legacy! However it would be great if it had a function such as Amiibo content or 007 laser shooting coin capability, but until then it will be there to remind me that I’m not in the mushroom kingdom where this currency is accepted :D

I love getting actual physical items when I pre-order games and this one is very cool. The coin comes in a plastic bag and the coin itself is in a protective plastic case. Really worth buying the game from best buy to get this coin.

Not sure why Nintendo wanted to include the coin with the game, but I guess it makes sense. Coin for Mario. Still, not sure the point of it. That being said, it's a cool coin and maybe can be used to determine who plays Mario first.

Can't really go wrong with this item. It comes packaged in a cheap little plastic bad so just toss that to not take away from the aesthetic of it. The solid coin case is nice enough to keep the coin in so you can display it proudly.

You can use this coin as a slammer if you still play pogs. Highly recommended. I took all of my nephews' hand me down pogs and am now the proud owner of a Shaquille O'Neal pog as a result of using this slammer in a for keeps game.

I was surprised when I went to go buy my copy of Super Mario Odyssey and the guy (very helpful and polite btw!) also gave me this little guy and an awesome poster! It goes with all of my nerdy decor in my gaming room so *thumbs up*

This item was a pre-order bonus from Best Buy for Super Mario Odyssey. It has no monetary value and can't be used for currency exchanges, however it's another reason why I love purchasing as many video games as I can from Best Buy.

Being able to get this for free with the game was one of the 2 reasons I bought the game also. It comes in a plastic coin container that cant be opened unless you break it. So it great that it has that added collector protection.

I preordered the super mario odyssey game and this was included free. As soon as I got it, I opened it to see how it looks. It's a cool little item that I have a feeling years from now will be valued more than what it's worth now.

This coin changed my life. I'm pretty sure my luck has increased at least 10. I've used it to buy something three times now and somehow I still have it. -con: there's a goat now in my backyard. Not sure how to deal with that.

The true star of Super Mario Odyssey, is Cappy Mario's new hat companion. Now you can enjoy his likeness on this nicely sculpted collectible coin. Mine came free with my pre-order of the game but if you missed out on that, it's still a nice addition for any fan of Mario and Nintendo!

I Transfered my Gamestop Pre-Order to Best Buy because they were giving away this coin.. I have a large collection of Video Game Give Aways and wanted it to add to my collection. It is a heavy coin and comes in a Coin Protector

It was surprisingly heavy and is actually pretty legit for a collectibles coin, but doesnt really serve much purpose beyond that. Had the guy scan it behind the counter though and the price in store to buy is was the same as a game! ($60). So dont get it unless as part of a preorder
