I honestly needed to get an officially licensed screen protector and I looked at the purchase as that I bought a screen protector that came with a case. The value is amazing regardless because you're getting 2 screen protectors (one for 2nd gen and one for OLED Switch and the case). The case is nice that it has felt lining all inside and it has a built in stand to store games. But I can understand how it might feel like it doesn't provide maximum protection. I use it just as a case to throw into my bag instead of just throwing in my Switch in a bag without the extra protection the carrying case gives. If you're looking for a case that maximizes protection this isn't it. This case is just covering the essential basics and that's what most people are probably looking for anyways. The screen protector on the other hand was easy to put on and will prevent scratches to the main screen which is exactly what I was looking for!

I’ve been using the Nintendo Switch Carrying Case & Screen Protector combo for a while now, and I’m really happy with it. The case is compact yet sturdy, offering solid protection without being bulky. It holds the Switch securely and includes space for a few game cartridges and small accessories, which is perfect for travel or everyday use. Received a Switch OLED as a gift so decided to purchase this OEM carrying case. Case is well made, has slots to hold games, works as a stand and comes with 2 screen protectors (1 for original Switch and 1 for OLED model). Excellent value and so far has been working great to protect my Switch.

Great little case for around the house. The screen protector is a great addition to my OLED model as well. I like having the pockets for game cartridges.

Not sure I would recommend this for constant travel as it's not the most robust case (if you could even call it a case; it's a barely padded enclosure made of a mostly polyester material), but it is definitely enough to carry the Switch around the house and keep it from getting dusty/dirty. Holds around 6-7 game cartridges comfortably but you could probably double that number if you cram them in. The included screen protector is alright too. Pretty good accessory without the Nintendo premium price, nice!

This case is fairly simple but awesome. I chose this because it wasn’t bulky but looked protective. I can confirm that it does a great job protecting my OLED switch when I throw it in my backpack and I’m on the go! It also has a dedicated flap (divider?) where you can store extra game cards which I liked a lot. Its obviously to tight to store the charger but shouldn’t be an issue for most who have a backpack or something. It does come with a screen protector but I chose to go with a different higher end screen protector so I can’t comment on how the included one performs. Otherwise it’s an awesome buy!

I love the price to quality ratio on this. The screen protector is great and doesn’t feel cheap. Nor does the case feel like it won’t protect your switch. At $20 I threw it in the purchase with my switch because I didn’t want to start using it without a screen protector. The case is something you also want to use whenever traveling with the switch or even going to a friend’s house with it. Especially if you have the OLED model. With the thinness of the oled model, it’s tempting to just put it in your pocket but you don’t want any scuffs on it.

Amazing case works perfect, keeps my switch safe, soft inside semi hard outside protection and holds 5 games. can take it in and out with ease. and came with a screen protector.

I bought it because I needed a case as soon as I bought my first new nintendo switch. I love that it has a screen protector included and they provided a set of two for each kind of nintendo oled switch (which is a plus if you have the other kind). Price is not bad. Case is sturdy and has room enough for your switch. It has some space for your game cartridge (max 5 I think). All in all I'm satisfied with my first purchase.

Great value. This case actually comes with the new and old screen protectors for the switch. The case is well built and even includes a spot for games.

Does what is supposed to do and allows the switch to not collect dust while it sits around or get scratched when put in a backpack. Included screen protector was the same as the cheap ones you find at the one online retailer that has a Forrest name. The price is good and you get what you need to protect your new switch and it fit with the white/black OLED theme so bonus there. I have bought far worst things at this price range and spent far more for similar quality so this is fair deal.

If I had realized average adult hands can't really play comfortably with the original joy cons I'd gotten a bigger case that can hold the game with the larger controllers attached. But this serves the purpose of protecting it somewhat in transit and it's nice to have the screen protector, very necessary with our gamers, included. If you mainly want space saving portability and don't mind sticking with the tiny joycons it's perfect, otherwise, get a bigger one.

I really like the look and simplicity of the case. My only complaint is that I'm not 100% sure how it's supposed to go in. there aren't any grooves or something to let you know how to insert the switch. overall feels protective and holds extra games

Great case. It’s slightly padded, and it even has an area for your games! I’ve bought it for everyone in my family to use for our switch.

Visually very attractive and matches the new OLED Switch in black & white. It holds 5 games in the case. That’s pretty much it. Which is good enough for me. It’s thin and smooth. This is what I wanted as I have the same exact one from the original release for the first Switch model. I know many want cases that can fit more. They’re out there for sale. But this official Nintendo case speaks to me for my minimal needs.

Great carrying case and good price! Holds your Switch secure and includes space for games. Great quality, have had one for six years and still looks new, just bought another for my second Switch.

Overall, this is a great carrying case for the Switch OLED. It does what it is supposed to do. I preferred this case over the hard shell models because I just think it feels nicer to carry. It also does come with little spaces to store your physical games, if you have any. Most of mine are digital, so I don't really use it.
