I love the way this model looks, it was definitely worth waiting for. The colors of the joycons stand out even among the other special edition joycons. I especially love the dock with the yellow splat on the front. I tend to use TV mode most often but I don't mind using it in handheld mode as much as I used to with the upgraded screen.

This is a upgrade for her because she had the old school switch. She wanted to wait longer on getting a new switch model. But, when she seen this new design, she changed her mind. She’s a big Splatoon fan and just had to have it! I don’t blame her because after seeing this in person, I want one myself.

First Great Collector’s Edition Switch! (IMO)

The joycons are my favorite aspect, they have a lot of color and detail! Overall, the design is great! I think the only thing that could be better is the back of the screen might look a little better if it was white to match the back of the joycons and the dock! I love the system itself and enjoy playing on it!

It didn't, my fault for not double checking. Larger OLED is an improvement but overall everything else is the same. Does have a nice kickstand, not sure if previous gen did.
