Customers regard Xenoblade Chronicles 3D's gameplay, story, and music as significant strengths, praising the depth and hours of enjoyment they provide. However, the small screen size on the 3DS is a recurring concern, impacting the overall experience for some players. While the battle system and 3D effects are also appreciated, some users found the controls and camera to require adjustment. The game's compatibility is limited to the New 3DS models, a factor potential buyers should consider.

This game really shows off some of the New 3ds' abilities. Effective 3d, and a nice epic journey you can carry in your pocket. I am not a huge RPG fan, but I am enjoying this game a lot!

This game is a straight port of the Wii console game. That is not a bad thing and the New 3DS XL handles this game great. I love this game and so glad I have it on the go now.

There is tons to do in this game. I have played countless hours and there is still more to do. The combat mode is fun, exploring the world is a blast and the story is top notch.

Great great great story. It flows well with pretty good combat. However combat does get a little repetitive, but the story will drag you to the games finale very quickly.

I like Best Buy, even if they often don't have bike racks. So, I stop in the Fayetteville or Rogers stores often as I ride. Sometimes I'm looking for something particular. I have found the Insignia products a good value for all the little bits and bobs it seems one always needs. But I often just enjoy the fun of all the tech candy to touch and feel. So, I try to buy something just about every week so Best Buy will flourish. Recently my purchased was Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, a fun little Nintendo mix of king Arthur with Tristan and isolda. I thought I had paid my fun tax for the week. This week, I hope to enjoy a new Chromebook.

I never played the Wii version but I. Can safely say the 3ds version plays well. Controls could have been a little more thought out and used the touchscreen but they made it work. This game is on a scale that feels it needs a bigger screen but doesn't take away from the experience.

Very big and memorable game. Long too, probably 50 hours or more. Nice that it's portable as opposed to the Wii version. Can't believe it's on the 3ds.

I am really impressed with the unique battle system. This game world is big and keeps the action going. Graphics are extra awesome due to 3D capability. Recommended.

I always wanted to play this game on the Wii but it was really hard to find and became too expensive on the secondary market. It did take a bit of a hit in the resolution department but this excellent game is even better in my opinion now that I can take it on the road.

Xenoblade Chronicles takes a very large scale and well-polished game that you would typically find on a console and shrinks it down well to the n3DS. It's fun to play, has great depth, and will last a long time. Although it looks and feels like a JRPG, the battle system is somewhat more like a Bioware title. It looks like the textures may have suffered in the shrink, but everything still looks good, especially with the huge environments. It's a good one to keep with the n3DS in sleep mode as a few minutes are always a good time to explore or grind, and you can save at nearly any time.

Play as much as you can as fast as you can! Don't get bored to quick or you will never pick up the game again! It's a great game once you get about 3 hours in! Music and combat are fresh! Plus if you are excited about X for Wii U you have to play this one!

This franchise is wonderful. Got a good storyline and battle system. If they ever remake this for an updated hd version it would be even better.

A classic limited release Wii game gets a second shot, this time on Nintendo's 3DS handheld. Lose yourself for hours in a game that has more to do then any other rpg on the 3DS. This game will only run on the 'new' 3DS console.

So, here is the strongest reason to buy a New 3DS, after the eye tracking and out of the box amiibo functionality. Is it enough? Well, if you don't have a Wii or haven't had any luck tracking down the Wii version of Xenoblade, then this will do nicely, even though the graphics are a bit compromised. There are a few extra collectibles too. As someone who owns the Wii version, I'm a little less than totally impressed.
As for the game itself, it's a really long, but really good, RPG with decent English voice-overs. An onscreen arrow will keep you going in the right direction but there is plenty to explore as the game is huge.
I was hoping for more New 3DS exclusives but I don't see any coming, as Nintendo seems focused on the NX whether they admit it or not.
