Super dim, super bright

Most headlamps I’ve owned are too bright, even on their lowest setting, ruining my nite vision. This ones dimmest setting is perfect for quick glances at paperwork inside the vehicle. The rechargeable battery life is exceptional in the dimmist mode, and includes a low battery indicator. Even if you require the brightest setting, who cares... it’s a quick usb/mini usb recharge back to business! Only flaw IMO - Nite Ize should consider a locking OFF mode, as those two mode buttons on top of the housing are pretty sensitive to even slight pressures that might accidentally turn the light on while in storage. I have to store mine in a separate little container inside my backpack (this is also a good spot for the included 4” cable and my own usb power port adapter). First world problems... minus one star, from a perfectionist.

Very good headlamp

The main reason I bought it was to take to a friend in Kenya who had no electricity other than solar panels. So he will be able to recharge this off a usb port from the solar panel.
