Its so much easier than using all the other kinds out there. The only down side is if your driving and your cars shakey it slowly starts to move on the stand.

Depends on how large your phone is - I have the iPhone 6 Plus and it takes up my whole vent. If you're okay with losing a vent for air it's perfect

It's a great product for the universe case. Only downside is you need to place the metal circle on the back of the piece yourself and it's an adhesive I bought it since I can place my phone at different angles. Since I didn't place it in an even spot just by a smidge I can't place my phone horizontally without it trying to go vertical.

Works as I expected it work. Love the idea of having in on a universe case so it comes off the phone easily when needed and the vent mount is sturdy and reliable.

Will know more after Xmas and see it's full potential. So far, first try as trial was fine.

It works great but after 2 months the magnet looses its grip to stay in place

It is a great concept, but with phone attached it weighs down vent to pointing downward.

This is the most versatile mounting device for phones I've found. I use it in my boat for nautical maps and van/car/truck for maps, music, audible books, etc. You may have to try a number of different clip on locations to avoid diverting the vents downward, though. I use this daily. You can just grab the phone off the ball and go.

This is by far my favorite car mount for my iphone. Pretty much every other one I have tried weighs down the vent or causes the mount to fall because of the sheer weight of the iphone. This is extremely strong and holds its place very well. Love the universe case system!

The product is a good product but my iPhone 6+ was just to heavy for it to hold properly. It would not stay where I needed it to stay.

Got for hubby to replace old one so only time will tell

I was extremely pleased with the product with the exception that I did not know that I needed OtterBox uniVERSE case for the module. I was still able to put the magnetic phone socket directly on my phone with the adhesive so it was not a huge deal.

Love the Nite Ize steely mount system. the vent mount is great for anyone who changes vehicles often or someone who use equipment at work and is not always in the same unit. great mount and holds up to abuse.

First time using the Nite ize Steele product and it works great. The clamp holds tightly to the vent and magnet holds the phone in whatever orientation I want without slipping while driving. Really like it.

I use the nite ize steelie products and this is another masterpiece to the collection. Great for anyone that changes vehicles often or doesn't want to mount anything to the vehicle.

This is part of the Otterbox universal phone case... there are lots of options. I got this as an option to hang the phone up in my car. It's a great option especially when I use the phone for GPS! Very happy with this product

The universe otter alone is wack. Now with the attachments it make it more exciting. Watch the reviews as I found them to be accurate. Landscape in the car is more sideways but does keep a steady sideways attachment.
