    My 100 Mile Review

After 100 miles, you’d think this scooter was only a few days old. My average commute consists of two 1.8 mile trips that is about 50% bike path and 50% bike lane. I’ve ridden it in the rain (reluctantly) and it preforms great. The battery is as advertised, and I usually charge it twice a week. 17 MPH is the max speed on flat ground, but it can do 20 MPH downhill. I’m about 50lbs over the recommended weight, but it still accelerates agressively. A couple of things though. The tires are good, but invest in a portable pump with a pre-set PSI. I usually put 50 PSI in them when I fill them, and they lose around 15-20 PSI in a day or two riding. I put tire sealant inside so I’m not exactly sure what is leaking. It isn’t an issue, just something to be aware of. There is no suspension, so it’s a bumpy ride when you’re riding over pavement with cracks or on dirt. I usually bend my knees to midigate the impact. Get a good pair of riding gloves. Beyond that, I’m more than happy with the price I paid for the preformance I get. I’ve never had a reason to go more than 2 miles on a trip so I can’t comment on how it preforms there, but this is perfect for a short trip to work.

This is not a cheap starter scooter. This is the Niu KQi2 Pro. It has a solid build quality, expanded range and good speed. This scooter delivers like no other brand in this price range. At 25 miles range this scooter beats the typical scooter by 10 miles and the 17 mph top speed makes it fun to ride. It is surprisingly light for how sturdy and solid this scooter is. I've purchased and reviewed a few scooters this month and this is absolutely the BEST electric scooter in this price range. You will have to spend twice as much to beat it. Sure my Segway Ninebot Max G2 has a few more bells and whistles but it cost me 2.5 times what I paid for my Niu KQi2 Pro.

First - the KQi2 Pro is solidly built. Even though there is plastic used around the deck and battery compartment, there is no hint of flimsiness (Mine was run over by a pickup truck and ended up with nothing more than minor surface scratches - I don't recommend trying this!) The speed of the scooter is exactly as advertised, and the range varies with speed but is in line with what NIU advertises. The app is user friendly and connects easily to the scooter. Overall, this is a fun, functional scooter that will provide many, many miles of enjoyment!

    Must UNLOCK full speed.

I own several scooters and this one is much heavier/sturdy/feels more premium level. One thing I HATE and is silly of the company is how they force you to go through their "tutorial" via app (mandatory to install), and it's limited to SLOW MODE when you first get it; you have to ride a few distance to unlock full speed, which is ridiculous. When it unlocks full speed, this is a blast to ride. When it's limited, it's a major waste of potential. I hate when companies don't give you a choice and force you to install an app.

I picked up the NIU KQI2 electric scooter mainly for fun and casual riding, and it has exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box it feels solid and well made, with a sturdy frame that inspires confidence. The ride is smooth and stable, even on imperfect pavement. Acceleration is quick enough to be enjoyable without feeling unsafe, and the handling is predictable and easy to control. It feels comfortable whether I am cruising around the neighborhood or taking short rides just to get outside. Battery life has been more than enough for recreational use, and I never feel like I am constantly worrying about charge. The display is bright and easy to read, and the overall build quality makes it feel more premium than I expected at this price. For anyone looking for an electric scooter purely for fun or casual riding, the NIU KQI2 offers excellent value. It is well built, enjoyable to ride, and feels like money well spent.

I disliked how heavy it was but overall i love the scooter. Its got great acceleration, braking, Regen braking is very nice. The app is easy to use with lots of different features you can turn off or on. Its got great range and can climb moderate hills at 9 miles an hour and steeper hills at about 5 miles. Its a quality scooter and if you catch it on a sale like i did its amazing value for the money. Very well built scooter by a well known brand.

I recently got my hands on this electric scooter, and I have to say—it’s an absolute blast to ride! From the moment I hopped on, I could tell this was no ordinary scooter. The acceleration is smooth yet powerful, making every ride feel like a mini adventure. The battery life is impressive, allowing me to cover long distances without constantly worrying about recharging. It handles beautifully, whether I'm cruising through city streets or taking on slight inclines. The build quality feels solid, giving me confidence that it’s built to last. Plus, the suspension and braking system work flawlessly, making for a safe and comfortable ride.

The NIU KQI2 Pro is an electric scooter that offers excellent value for money. With a range of 25 kilometers and a top speed of 25 kilometers per hour, it provides a convenient and efficient mode of transportation for short commutes or leisurely rides. One of the notable features of the KQI2 Pro is its affordability without compromising on performance. It strikes a balance between price and functionality, making it an attractive option for those looking for an electric scooter within a reasonable budget. The scooter's range of 25 kilometers ensures that you can cover a decent distance on a single charge, making it suitable for daily commutes or running errands in the city. Similarly, the top speed of 25 kilometers per hour allows for a relatively swift and enjoyable riding experience, especially in urban environments. However, it's important to note that the KQI2 Pro lacks suspension, which can be a drawback when riding on uneven surfaces. Prolonged use on bumpy roads may lead to discomfort and hand fatigue due to vibrations. Riders should take this into consideration, especially if they frequently encounter rough terrains during their commute. On the positive side, the scooter features a decently wide base, providing ample space for riders to comfortably place their feet. This contributes to stability and enhances the overall riding experience, ensuring a secure and balanced ride. Overall, considering its reasonable price point, commendable range, and respectable speed, the NIU KQI2 Pro electric scooter earns a solid rating of 8 out of 10. It's an excellent option for those seeking an affordable and efficient mode of urban transportation, but potential buyers should be aware of its lack of suspension when using it on uneven surfaces.

This reliability has been perfect for my needs, giving me confidence in longer rides. In terms of speed, it delivers an average performance that feels safe yet efficient for urban environments. It strikes a good balance between speed and stability, which suits me perfectly as a rider. Great scooter for the price. Use it every day because parking is extremely difficult where I live in NYC. I park about mile from where I live and scoot my way home. Instead of a 15 minute walk it takes me 4-5 minutes. It tops out at 17 mph which is pretty fast. The headlight is high quality and well lit The tires can handle the poor cracked NYC sidewalks but you will feel big bumps. Could use a clock display as when you’re riding you can’t really look at your watch or phone ( and you shouldn’t ) The rubber grips are a little uncomfortable but you can always wear gloves. I charge the scooter every 3 days for moderate use. At 40lbs is very heavy to carry Fits well into the back of my suv Super easy folding High quality build… I’m 6”2 and 170 lbs with a 13 size shoe and I’m very comfortable on it. By my calculations after 3 months it should pay itself by the parking fees I would otherwise incur. Solid warranty offered. Cruise control is a bit tricky to set as you have to continuously ride at the same speed for 6 seconds. Trickier than it sounds. Deceleration is too abrupt in my opinion and needs to be calibrated. Letting go of the accelerator feels as if you’re applying the brakes. It should be more gradual but you get use to the feel of it as you scoot. Brakes are solid.

So far this scooter exceeds my expectations. I was going to return it and get the segway f2 but I decided to open the box and give it a try, and man i must say they definitely sandbagged the specs. This thing moves its not got crazy top speed but definitely get there quickly. Battery is amazing and app is pretty cool as well. 5 stars first day!
