    My 100 Mile Review

After 100 miles, you’d think this scooter was only a few days old. My average commute consists of two 1.8 mile trips that is about 50% bike path and 50% bike lane. I’ve ridden it in the rain (reluctantly) and it preforms great. The battery is as advertised, and I usually charge it twice a week. 17 MPH is the max speed on flat ground, but it can do 20 MPH downhill. I’m about 50lbs over the recommended weight, but it still accelerates agressively. A couple of things though. The tires are good, but invest in a portable pump with a pre-set PSI. I usually put 50 PSI in them when I fill them, and they lose around 15-20 PSI in a day or two riding. I put tire sealant inside so I’m not exactly sure what is leaking. It isn’t an issue, just something to be aware of. There is no suspension, so it’s a bumpy ride when you’re riding over pavement with cracks or on dirt. I usually bend my knees to midigate the impact. Get a good pair of riding gloves. Beyond that, I’m more than happy with the price I paid for the preformance I get. I’ve never had a reason to go more than 2 miles on a trip so I can’t comment on how it preforms there, but this is perfect for a short trip to work.

First - the KQi2 Pro is solidly built. Even though there is plastic used around the deck and battery compartment, there is no hint of flimsiness (Mine was run over by a pickup truck and ended up with nothing more than minor surface scratches - I don't recommend trying this!) The speed of the scooter is exactly as advertised, and the range varies with speed but is in line with what NIU advertises. The app is user friendly and connects easily to the scooter. Overall, this is a fun, functional scooter that will provide many, many miles of enjoyment!

This is not a cheap starter scooter. This is the Niu KQi2 Pro. It has a solid build quality, expanded range and good speed. This scooter delivers like no other brand in this price range. At 25 miles range this scooter beats the typical scooter by 10 miles and the 17 mph top speed makes it fun to ride. It is surprisingly light for how sturdy and solid this scooter is. I've purchased and reviewed a few scooters this month and this is absolutely the BEST electric scooter in this price range. You will have to spend twice as much to beat it. Sure my Segway Ninebot Max G2 has a few more bells and whistles but it cost me 2.5 times what I paid for my Niu KQi2 Pro.

    Must UNLOCK full speed.

I own several scooters and this one is much heavier/sturdy/feels more premium level. One thing I HATE and is silly of the company is how they force you to go through their "tutorial" via app (mandatory to install), and it's limited to SLOW MODE when you first get it; you have to ride a few distance to unlock full speed, which is ridiculous. When it unlocks full speed, this is a blast to ride. When it's limited, it's a major waste of potential. I hate when companies don't give you a choice and force you to install an app.

I disliked how heavy it was but overall i love the scooter. Its got great acceleration, braking, Regen braking is very nice. The app is easy to use with lots of different features you can turn off or on. Its got great range and can climb moderate hills at 9 miles an hour and steeper hills at about 5 miles. Its a quality scooter and if you catch it on a sale like i did its amazing value for the money. Very well built scooter by a well known brand.

    Best value for Money

The NIU KQI2 Pro is an electric scooter that offers excellent value for money. With a range of 25 kilometers and a top speed of 25 kilometers per hour, it provides a convenient and efficient mode of transportation for short commutes or leisurely rides. One of the notable features of the KQI2 Pro is its affordability without compromising on performance. It strikes a balance between price and functionality, making it an attractive option for those looking for an electric scooter within a reasonable budget. The scooter's range of 25 kilometers ensures that you can cover a decent distance on a single charge, making it suitable for daily commutes or running errands in the city. Similarly, the top speed of 25 kilometers per hour allows for a relatively swift and enjoyable riding experience, especially in urban environments. However, it's important to note that the KQI2 Pro lacks suspension, which can be a drawback when riding on uneven surfaces. Prolonged use on bumpy roads may lead to discomfort and hand fatigue due to vibrations. Riders should take this into consideration, especially if they frequently encounter rough terrains during their commute. On the positive side, the scooter features a decently wide base, providing ample space for riders to comfortably place their feet. This contributes to stability and enhances the overall riding experience, ensuring a secure and balanced ride. Overall, considering its reasonable price point, commendable range, and respectable speed, the NIU KQI2 Pro electric scooter earns a solid rating of 8 out of 10. It's an excellent option for those seeking an affordable and efficient mode of urban transportation, but potential buyers should be aware of its lack of suspension when using it on uneven surfaces.

Its nice. Quick. Its a bit bigger and heavier than most scooters which isnt pleasant for travel but it does work pretty well. Not great for uphill. You will have to walk it unless youre like 50lbs.

Great scooter for the price. Use it every day because parking is extremely difficult where I live in NYC. I park about mile from where I live and scoot my way home. Instead of a 15 minute walk it takes me 4-5 minutes. It tops out at 17 mph which is pretty fast. The headlight is high quality and well lit The tires can handle the poor cracked NYC sidewalks but you will feel big bumps. Could use a clock display as when you’re riding you can’t really look at your watch or phone ( and you shouldn’t ) The rubber grips are a little uncomfortable but you can always wear gloves. I charge the scooter every 3 days for moderate use. At 40lbs is very heavy to carry Fits well into the back of my suv Super easy folding High quality build… I’m 6”2 and 170 lbs with a 13 size shoe and I’m very comfortable on it. By my calculations after 3 months it should pay itself by the parking fees I would otherwise incur. Solid warranty offered. Cruise control is a bit tricky to set as you have to continuously ride at the same speed for 6 seconds. Trickier than it sounds. Deceleration is too abrupt in my opinion and needs to be calibrated. Letting go of the accelerator feels as if you’re applying the brakes. It should be more gradual but you get use to the feel of it as you scoot. Brakes are solid.

This scooter was a very exellent price for what you get out of it. It is very fun, and can also be used for function. The range on the scooter is good being about 24 miles, and the speed is also great going up to 17mph. Ive gone 575 miles on my scooter, and use it to go to and from school everyday. My dad purchased it for me about 10 months ago and it is great! The scooter is also very durable. I crashed it accidentally full speed into a fence at 17 miles an hour about 1 week after it was purchased. The damage on the scooter was extremely low, i was amazed by how well it took the hit and left almost no marks onto it. The scooter also comes with 2 grip strips for the board. As well as that you can download the niu app to both customize and electronically lock it. The scooter is very fun and easy to use, and ive also taught some freinds to use it. They also usually are on very good sales depending on the time of year, mine was bought at about half price. I would highly recommend you buy this, or another one of the KQi scooters made by NIU.

I needed one of these to help get from one place to another. This thing does it and works really well! The battery life last a long time and I'm about 205lbs and it gives me no problems for power consumption or torque loss. I get about 17mph top speed on average. I like that it also has a daytime running light and a high and low beam. And you can also lock the scooter in the app where if the phone is not connected the scooter won't work which is pretty cool. One other thing I like is my kids want to always use it when I'm not and you can tone down the power appropriate for kids. My kids ages at the time of writing this review are 5,7,9.

This is my first E-scooter and I like it a lot. The size of scooter is bigger than I thought. There are a few points I don’t like it. The brake is not sensitive enough sometimes I cannot brake it smoothly. And it cannot climb the upward slope. But the price is affordable for me and I think this is a good scooter for short commute or in the campus.

Some people prefer the term 'scoot', however, we all know what it means to 'scoo'. I use this to get free parking and scoo over to my place of work, with daily usage of around 5 miles. A full charge will last me well over a week, with some errands at the end of the day too. Reaching 18mph, this thing will get you through traffic making your 4-wheeled adversaries look ridiculous as you ring your little bell at them. Very visible tail light, daytime running light, and impressive headlight for those early morning commutes. I have no doubt that this scooter will also be able to be used during the winter, so long as you're driving significantly slower and carefully, remembering to wear your helmet and necessary protective gear. I would recommend this exact scooter to anyone trying to be more mobile

I’ve been using the NIU KQi3 scooter for a few weeks now, and it’s been an excellent commuting companion. The build quality feels premium with wide handlebars and solid tires that handle bumps effortlessly. It offers smooth acceleration, decent hill climbing, and a reliable top speed of 20 mph. The dual disc brakes and halo lights make it feel safe, even at night. While it’s a bit heavy to carry around, the ride comfort and range make up for it. Overall, a stylish and dependable scooter for everyday city rides.
