Love the series and the game! I got this at a great price on clearance and had it shipped to my house. I was expecting it later in the week and then got a notification that it was arriving almost next day. It arrived seal and in box. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Like its predecessors, No More Heroes III is highly stylized in Sudan 51's unique direction, that being a blended mix of weird (the good kind), awesome, and edginess (also the good kind). The combat has evolved since the previous games, it combines elements from the original two games and Travis Strikers Again. Once again, the voice cast does an amazing job, and I couldn't see anyone else but Robin Atkins Downs as Travis. The story is really good as well, and I'd love to see it continue with a sequel.
The game is broken into three main sections, overworld, combat, and mini-games. The overworld is bigger than any of the predecessors, and you have many new locations to explore. Unlike the previous games, No More Heroes III does not feature stages or levels in the traditional sense, instead, you go about the overworld and find combat zones, upon selecting the combat Zone, the game transitions into combat mode, and you have to fight waves of enemies to proceed. Personally, I prefer the "stages/levels" system of the previous games, but maybe others will like this style more.
Perhaps the biggest weakness of the game is the performance, as on the overworld the frame rate is very unstable, and there's other visual issues present too. Luckily, the devs were able to get the combat sections running near perfectly, with little to no slowdown or frame rate issues.
Overall, a pretty fantastic game, and while there may be issues present, I'd take this uniquely stylized game over many others.

Not saying that newcomers will not like this title, but if this is your first No More Heroes game you will probably be lost story-wise. Or at least lost in terms of context, references, and characters. That being said, this game is still a blast.
I'm already a big Suda51 and NMH fan and this game totally delivered. Suda's signature anime-punk style bleeds through everything while the game revels in its absurdities and I couldn't get enough.
The game is a little rough around the edges--framerate's a little choppy in the overworld, jaggies here and there, and I had one crash--but none of that could take away from the overall experience for me.
The combat is as tight as ever and there are plenty of battles to take on. I was taking on all the fights I could even when I didn't need to for the next part of the story because I was having so much fun. This is still one of the few games where motion controls actually make it better!
Pop culture references and fourth-wall breaking galore. NMH3 is like a game based on anime that doesn't exist, but you'll wish it did. Easily one of my favorite games on the Switch.

No More Heroes: Travis Is The Best

It's absolutely insane. Wonderful boss fights, style that can't be matched, and a wild story. The gameplay is great, despite some real issues with frame rate and pop-in. The Switch is just underpowered, and that hurts, but the game overall is well worth the price and generally overcomes any problems that crop up.

If you've played the other games in this series, then you know you're going to love this game! Suda 51 is one of the few video game creators I care to follow and it's because there's just to much heart put into his games. Yes it's a little buggy and doesn't have the best graphics, but it just has that feel that every Suda 51 game has that keeps you coming back. Can't recommend this game enough!

I had a ton of fun with this game. It is drenched in style, offers engaging action gameplay, and introduces a huge lineup of genuinely unique characters. But I can see people being turned off by a few aspects of the experience so let me lay those out:
- graphics and performance are not up to par
- big open maps with not much in them
- outdated-feeling gameplay and controls
- very repetitive gameplay
- many references to No More Heroes1 & 2 with no context
All that said, I had a very good time with the game and kept playing for the "story" and just to see what Travis would get into next,

If you played any of the previous No More Hero games or Shadow Of The Damned then this game and its style shouldn't come as a shock. Glad to have gotten it for the price as it made getting this game even more incentivized to add to my Switch game library collection. Definitely one to have in any Switch owners collection and soon before it's too late to do so.

Definitely awesome if you are a fan of the franchise. It plays pretty much like the older games so newcomers may not care for the older style of play. Still a very cool game with lots of action

No More Heroes 3 is a love letter to Suda 51's work as a whole and I do appreciate everything it calls back to. What a fantastic game! The insanity of it all can really only be appreciated if you're into that kind of thing. As in, if you have a prior interest in No More Heroes as a series, or want to get into it. Combat is probably the most satisfying it's ever been. The soundtrack is full of bangers too! I don't think you'll be disappointed with this game.

It's been such a long wait since NMH2 came out for the Wii. No More Heroes feels right at home on the Switch and NMH3 is more of what you loved from the other main entries. I will say it would be nice if Nintendo would acquire controlling rights for NMH from Marvelous and let the creator make numbered entries when he wanted for Nintendo consoles. Get this game.

No more Heroes 3 game of the year

No more Heroes 3 is in my opinion the game of the year. Everything about this game from the art style, the music, the sound design, the combat, everything feels so good. The whole game is filled with style and is oozing that Suda51 charm. The only downsides are occasional dips in frame rate, and textures not loading sometimes. Anyone that’s a fan of action games, should get this. Even if you haven’t played the others in the series.

Now that I finished no more heroes 3 I have to say it was an outstanding game. Gameplay and story was spectacular. The graphical fidelity in the open world areas are not great but for my taste it didn’t bother me. If you’ve played previous entries in the series and enjoyed them. No more heroes 3 Will meet or even exceed your expectations. Really enjoyed this one.
