Husband and I are fans of all James Bond movies. This one does not disappoint.

Daniel Craig is the best James Bond there is. Movie was a fitting end to his time as 007.

Here’s the short of it: Didn’t Like Spectre 2 - Come on man, mix the strengths of the Craig era with those of the legacy films.  They could have made a solid final outing by taking inspiration from the traditional formula and adapting it to a Craig’s strengths. Lazy Writing - This film felt like it was written to satisfy one question/idea.  It didn’t work for me. The Villain - His motivations don’t hold up with his actions.  Rami Malik is a solid actor who sadly didn’t have much to work with. Characters Done Dirty - To say more is spoiler country, but there characters that should have been given more respect. Run Time - It simply didn’t need to be as long as it was.  There are a number of places cuts cold have been made to make things tighter. I Liked The Action - The best the industry has to offer as always. Daniel Craig - His status as one of the best to play the role remains unshaken.  He’s still solid, and it’s a shame the writing of some of his films weren’t worthy of his talent. Final Thoughts I liked the film, but not as much as I wanted to.  It has great action, but it’s also weighed down by logic problems, its long runtime, and questionable treatment of certain characters.   See it for the action or see it as a fan.  It’s worth seeing once, but I don’t know that I could have it on at any time.
