A very solid thriller that requires your full attention. Also Amy Adams is awesome and chalk this up to another solid performance she gave this year, along side Arrival.

this spine tingling thriller really captures a multitude of emotions. This was my favorite movie last year; a family on vacation in the desert runs into criminals with nothing too lose. cool surprise ending w/ amy adams! a must see !

Didn't have any theatres near me that played this movie, risky to purchase movie I haven't seen but this looked so good. Turns out it was worth the buy great movie!

This was a pretty good movie. The intro/beginning of the movie was disgusting but the rest of the movie was very good.

This is basically two movies in one. At times, I found it difficult to watch, but in a good way. My wife did not care for the ending, but I found it quite fitting.

Well directed and acted. Great use of lighting and colors throughout. It definitely kept my interest. I found watching the commentary by Tom Ford after helpful.

I saw her in Arrival. Glad to see her very glamorous in this movie. I thought a few should have gotten Oscar nods. I guess there were no more slots available.

This is a good suspenseful thriller filled with plenty of twist. Talks of life, love, and lost love and trying to put the broken pieces of life back together.

With Tom Ford as director you expect a stylist movie with beautiful people.The movie however is quite complex,thrilling w/some unexpected final twist.

I was very pleased with this movie. It was nothing like I thought it was going to be, in a good way. Jake Gyllenhaal was outstanding. Michael Shannon definitely earned his nomination for best supporting actor at the Oscars.

Dark and stylish with a twisted sense of humor. Great cast with strong performances on all fronts. Beautiful picture with elegant cinematography, and although not an action blockbuster, the audio presentation is top notch.

This movie had an imaginative premise and the acting was top-notch. The only problem was that the movie was extremely depressing, at least to me.

Kind of dark, sometimes scary. Sort of boring knowing that it's a movie about a guy that wrote a book and made it a movie. Confusing at points

This feature film has a mix of some of the best cast imaginable. It spins the mind into a roller coaster ride full of emotion and disillusion.

This movie was stunning. There are loud, dirty (literally) scene that transition to a quiet, clean scene throughout the movie. The tension is very good and it all leads up to a climax that was very satisfying.

This film is raw and very disturbing! Characters are extremely well drawn and acted. Ithe is one FIM that I could not watch a second time.

In away you get to see two movies here with a great cast. Its a nice little mind bender that will leave you thinking. Great cast as well.

I have never seen a film quite constructed this way, though in a general sense it's a story within a story - literally. Stellar performances by all. Subject matter may be disturbing to the squeamish.

If you can just ignore the first two minutes of the movie, it's worth the watch. Great performances by Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhall.
