He hates electronics and won't get a really "smart" and up-to-date phone. This does well at the simple tasks, even though all he ever uses is making and receiving calls. Just not interested in anything else.

Bluetooth is so bad dosent voice clarity is terrible when connected to car audio, this is so dangerous and you cannot use it safely while driving. 2. The phone dosent let you forward text messages. 3. 3.5mm port dosent work with jacks which has mic and stereo(TRRS).. it works only with stereo jack (TRS). In this modern world toy cannot use a wired headphone with mic..

He can use it with no issues. So, in other words, it's 83 year old approved.
