    A Terrible Phone

This phone sucks. It randomly shuts down or restarts for no reason. I've been using it for 3 weeks and the phone reception is super fuzzy. People can barely understand me and I can't talk to my elderly parents at all.

You get what you pay for. A low-cost phone seems to equal, a low-performance phone. I was expecting Nokia to be adequate but was disappointed. It seems to turn off mobile data all by itself. Background apps don't always run.

I got this phone and it is great for what it is. Good amount of storage, great battery life, and you can actually play PUBG on it. Very bad build quality though, it creaks when you hold it tight. Other than that, its a good device. Good camera as well! I think its worth the asking price.

Great phone if you'd like a visit from the police

I purchased my Nokia 5.4 from Best Buy in April 2021. I have used Nokia phones in the past, especially while traveling abroad, and usually they are reliable. The Nokia 5.4 was great for the first 10 months. The camera took quality pictures, and everything functioned as it should (though I admit I don’t install many apps, and usually stick with the basics). Then, beginning in early April 2022, the phone starts randomly calling 911 when I try to wake it. It could just be tapping the screen (nowhere near that emergency button at bottom) that sets it off, or pressing power button ONCE. There is no intermediate screen; it just auto dials, and even if you manage to hang up in time, they still call you back. Nothing will get you out of bed faster than realizing you called 911 at 5:30 a.m. just after you tried to wake your phone. No, I'm not accidentally pressing emergency call. I removed the lock screen; that didn't change anything. This is a glitch with the phone. My phone called 911 four times over the course of a week (at random times during the day, totally unpredictable); I would profusely apologize to my local emergency services each time. After my 4th 911 call, I decided on a factory reset. After the factory reset, within an hour of using the phone, it did it again. Only this time, despite my apologies, emergency services sent the police to my door at 10:30 at night! No phone is worth this. It's wasting the time of the first responders, not to mention it's traumatic for me. The worst part is that I convinced my elderly parents to buy the same phone: Nokia 5.4. And surprise—theirs both started calling 911 for no obvious reason just yesterday. Nokia needs to prioritize fixing this very serious problem with their product. I've already shipped the phone back to Nokia, and I don't want it back (I swore to the police I would NEVER use it again), but I wanted to post this for any other customers suffering the same terrifying problem (looks like one reviewer here experienced a similar problem). This must be fixed. This ruined an otherwise 5-star phone and a company I've trusted for years.

Best Buy stores Ive visited dont keep this unit (or any other Nokias) powered on, so that you cannot see the laughable quality of the camera for yourself. I was forced to purchase this blind without trying, and now will face a $50 return fee. The camera is bad. Real bad. Otherwise the phone is decent, but this camera is like a kids toy. Every shot is blurry. One pro is that because it's so slow and cheap, it uses hardly any battery

I needed a phone to replace a pixel 4a that has stopped allowing Bluetooth connections to several of my devices after the last security update. This has worked out very well.

    Too slippery for a paperweight

I disliked each and every thing about this phone. I bought it as a temporary phone and I ended up having to get another temporary phone because this phone did nothing but frustrate me with every action I attempted to perform. Even simple tasks were challenging and the only thing you could trust it to do is time out. For every letter you type, you'd wait 5-10 seconds most times just for it to respond. If it's ringing forget about answering because by the time the phone responds to your tap to answer, the callers already gone and it's now a missed call. Only thing about this phone that made me happy was the thought of destroying it with a hammer. I dropped it and cracked the screen from not even a 2 for drop and wasn't even mad. If I hadn't damaged it so soon after buying, I would've sent it back. I'll gladly give it to anyone in need of a phone. It's free and unlocked even. The absolute worst phone I've ever used and couldn't believe it cost more than 20 bucks!
