In general, the folio style is a good choice for some smartphone users, if we don't need heavyweight protection, and especially for the benefit of being able to stick cards, paper, money, etc., into it. When I compare this $50 leather Nomad case to the $8 vinyl one I have on my Note3, the cheapie comes out the winner in many ways. The point of these cases, as I said, is to be able to stick, say, three business cards, a Starbucks card, driver license, and a couple of receipts, say, into the pockets. I put about half of what was in my cheapie one in the Nomad, and it still doesn't really close! Furthermore, the cheapie has a magneted flap closure (which I admit can get in the way sometimes) which helps to secure it. So functionally, the cheapie works better. The Nomad smells nicer, and I can charge my phone without taking it out of the case. I'm hoping that as it breaks in maybe it will close better.

I bought this case three weeks ago when I bought my note8. I absolutely love this effing case...... the leather is just on point. It wears in great. Even with a bunch of scratches on the front of my wallet. It still looks amazing. The feel of a real leather case is great. I feel like there is less chance of a slip out of hand accident with this case. Now the retainer that holds the phone in....my god I love it..... feels very secure and snug as it snaps in. I have dropped this wallet probably around 5 times now. Not a single problem. Now as screen protectors are concerned do your self a favor and just buy a liquid screen protector with coverage for new glass. (And yes they are out there. Just not here) anyone who has a note8 and wants. Wallet case this is the one for you.

Very bulky and wireless charging won't work with this case. It looks nice and seems to be good quality.

Seems like a good quality case. Not super shock resistant, but it does help with falls on occasion. Meant as a more aesthetically pleasing case than anything else. I like the pockets for cash and cards. I typically no longer have to carry my wallet around now, but it does add to the phone's silliness, ofc. My only annoyance with it is that you you have to hold it open to use the camera, as the flap will otherwise cover the lens.

Sharp looking case... But no way for it to stay closed. A magnetic strap would be nice...

I love this case. It has slots for my credit cards and the leather is beautiful!

I like this case because it covers the screen stylishly. Holds random papers and cards effectively. Keeps fingerprints of the screen.

Good protection for leather. Holds 3 cards securely.

It has a classic look and durability as time goes. It is also good for holding money and cards.

Phone goes into the cover easily. Nice leather. Has scratches from stuff in my purse, but that makes it look aged. Also has convenient card and cash pockets that work well. Overall nice case. Only negative is there is no stand so you have to hold the phone if you want to watch videos.

Purchased for my husband who seems to like it. All the card slots are very handy. It has held up well also- which is saying something for him. However the case does add some bulk so the phone cannot fit in his jean pocket any longer or charge wirelessly.

I love the idea of the natural fadeing of this phone case however mine seems to pick up every little scratch instead of fadeing. I believe if this where put in a purse or pocket more the face would be nicer. I only carry mine in my hand or small backpack. I love that the card holder doesn't ware if you put to many cards in it. My pop socket has fallen off a few times, so I sujest if you like your pop socket this isn't the case for you. Its surprisingly light weight. I have many men comment on my phone case not many women, seems to be a bit masculine but I like it regardless. Would recommend to anyone who likes the wallet phone cases and wants something sturdy.

The leather case with credit card holders is very nice. It is a well made case and keeps the phone protected. Makes it easy to keep credit cards, money and IDs with you at all times.

I bought this case for my wife to hold her Samsung Phone. She loves the leather case which the phone fits in perfectly and protects the phone! She also has room to carry her license, credit cards, etc. Great value for the price.

Love that it also has a spot on the inside that you can keep business cards or whatever. The only negative would be that it looks pretty scuffed up quickly.

This is excellent. I would recommend though to have a magnet or a way to clip it not to open if it falls with the phone. This can damage the screen.

The case is stylish and fits nicely in the hand. It does add bulk to the overall feel of the device and adding cards into the slots increases that bulk. Of course, safety for the device is totally out of the window! Having no clasp to keep the case shut, when the phone fell out of my pocket, the screen shattered! Good thing I had a screen shield on the phone. I am looking for another case.

It meets my requirements. It looks good and protects the phone. If only it had a way to secure it when you fold it.
