It was a good idea, and the cable worked fine for charging my phone (where I have had problems with other cables in the past), but the housing fell apart on my keychain within a week. It still works, but I am pretty gentle with my keys, and it shouldn't have come apart that fast.

I bought this as a "cool" addition to my keychain and was quickly disappointed. The charger works as expected but it is quite slow - think gas station charging chord. I only plan on actually using the charger in emergencies and while traveling so the slow charging doesn't bother me too much - it still gets the job done. However, I returned the 1st one I bought due to a crack in the plastic casing. When I got to the store we opened an additional EIGHT of these keychains and only found ONE that wasn't cracked. I bought that one and have been using it for about 6 weeks and the plastic case around the USB side of the cord has completely broken and fallen off. It still works just fine but doesn't look finished any more (see pictures).

I was curios about this product and picked it up since it was on clearance. don't buy it if you want and long chord. For me this is perfect for on the go and traveling as long as you keep your device and charging port literally close to it

Although it could be a bit cheaper. This item does just as promised. Lightweight portable and best of all cordless. No need to carry a tangled mess of cords anymore. As long as you're ok with giving up the flexibility of a cord when away from home or the office then this will work for you.

I was not looking for this item but was happy to stumble upon it. I purchased a separate iPhone adapter so that I can easily plug in my wireless headphones or my iPhone to my computer, allowing me to stay charged between home and work. Great handy device to have. Only reason for a 4 star review is because the item does not have protective covers on the ends but otherwise awesome.

V The cable is great for using with a mobile battery pack but I can't think of what else it would be good fo other than that

I bought this product because it seemed like a sturdy back-up if I didn't have my phone charge cord. When I dropped it on the garage floor the outer plastic cracked.

Its a good idea, but it wasnt executed that well. The plastic casing cracked with only a few days of use, but still works fine.

If you need a compact emergency cable for your EDC, this is the perfect product. Sturdy and backed by great customer service, great item to buy.

Super handy charger. Have had to use a few times in a pinch to get some quick juice to my phone, and worked perfectly.

This product has come in handy for my many times. It doesn't take up much space and is always around when you need it.

It will be a useful tool when needed. I haven't had to need to use it, but it will be very convenient when i use it, because its attached to my keychain and i barely noticed it. it was really cheap when i bought it at the time, so something that would be needed in an emergency, $10 is a cheap price to pay.

Love the little cable key ring. I've used it for charging in the car when my other cable quit on me, and was life saver for not being left with dead battery.

I needed a micro-usb to charge my external battery, and was looking for the cheapest usable one. The keychain is a little weird, but it works well for my purposes.
