Excellent bag for work and that quick weekend trip. When empty I was quite surprised with how light the bag was. Everything about it is perfect.

A very comfortable backpack which can be expanded to a carry on size duffle bag. The bag is durable and water resistant. I usually travel with my work laptop and a personal tablet (Surface Pro) and this backpack fits them perfectly in the dedicated pocket. It comes with enough compartments to store everything needed for the trip. There is RFID storage and hidden pocket that comes in handy to carry cash, passport, etc. You can use the ventilated pockets to store shoes as well as keep the water out, if needed. The water bottle holders are magnetic and snap back when you are not using it. I was able to use it as a carry on for a 4 day trip and fit everything I need without needing an additional backpack that I usually carry. Another additional feature that I haven't tried yet, but might come in handy is the retractable key leash feature. The straps are sturdy and the bag comes with waist straps, that keeps the bag in place with added stability. It is also versatile that the straps can be tucked in to carry the backpack as a briefcase. Overall, a great travel backpack and definitely recommend for anyone who needs a bag that also encompass organization for tech products.

I did my research on the Nomatic bag and I thought it would be everything I wanted and more, but it is not the case. I was disappointed with the clam shell section that you unzip. The material in this section feels cheap and there is no way to zip it without cramming everything in. This makes the zipping and unzipping difficult it gets stuck. The interior of the bag is not as spacious as you think and it is pretty uncomfortable to wear. It does look boxy on your back and having it at full capacity it puts lots of strain on your back. The product that I received had a melted area on the back of the strap holder so make sure to check your backpack completely. I will returned the backpack soon. This backpack is way to expensive to be sending defective ones to costumers. This backpack should be $50-$80 top, since the materials feel cheap.

All zippers were too sticky which made it hard to get in and out of the backpack. Also, there are no loops to attach anything to the the exterior corners such as a flashlight or a small travel bottle of sanitizer. Otherwise the bag had a many compartments to stash all you goods.

It’s one of the best backpacks I ever got. The organization is great, the expansion is helpful, and the versatility is great. It may be a bit large at starting with 20 liters but it make up for the the organization of all the small to mid size objects. The large pocket is great for clothing, shoes, books, and other large items. I personally love the 2 water bottles holder on each side. If you learn to pack smart, this bag can be your best friend. Especially in traveling, it can expand to 30 liters so you can have everything you need in one bag for 3 to 4 day trips.

First off let me say that I travel for business a LOT, most of the time its for 1-3 days.
I have had many backpacks in my day and I can safely say this…the Nomatic Travel Pack is the BEST backpack I have ever had.
I never check bags and at the most travel with a small roller bag and a backpack. The Nomatic Travel Pack is perfect to fit under the seat (in 20L configuration) or in the overhead (in 30L configuration).
The quality of construction is second to none, the zippers work flawlessly and securely seal the contents of your backpack in, its waterproof and the straps can be tucked in so as to use it as more of a briefcase. I also love how you can use the back panel to slide over a luggage handle if you have a roller bag to be able to move freely. The straps are reasonably comfortable and adjust easily, the only complaint I have is there isn’t a convenient place to put the excess strap if you have some dangling which would be more convenient.
I just got back from taking the backpack on a two day trip and the Nomatic Travel Pack was a great companion. I forced myself to use just the Nomatic Travel Pack for everything for my trip including all of my clothes, electronics etc
I unzipped the expandable zipper so it would be in the 30L capacity mode, I didn’t pack any shoes as I think that would take too much room up so if you need multiple shoes this might not be the only bag you need for your trip but there is an area for shoes if you wanted to pack them. The best way to pack this is to use separate packing cubes but the capacity (if you pack conservatively) is enough for up to 3 days in my opinion.
I also travel with a laptop and iPad as well as various cords, chargers and battery packs. There is more than enough room in the other half of the Nomatic Travel Pack with all the compartments etc to accommodate all of your electronic needs. There is a great place to keep your phone in at the top of the pack that has a nice soft lining and there is a cool hard eyeglass case included for you to keep sunglasses or an extra pair of glasses in.
There is room for two water bottles and a cool zippered secret compartment under the strap area to keep a passport, extra money etc
The last thing that I will mention is I truly appreciate the fact that the Nomatic Travel Pack can stand up and doesn’t fall over when you place it on the ground or floor, every other backpack I have had pretty much just falls down and that’s always bothered me.
Overall for the road warrior, occasional traveler or even for everyday use I love the Nomatic Travel Pack and definitely recommend it.

I just returned from my first trip after getting the Nomatic travel backpack and I don’t know how I’ve made it without this bag for so long! When I first took it out of the box, I took several minutes opening all of the zippers just to figure out what secrets it held. And let me tell you there a LOT! This thing has zippers and pockets galore, some of which I haven’t yet figured out a use for, but I’m sure going to keep trying. Overall, the construction is rock solid and while it is a bit stiff now, I can tell it will loosen up with age and use. The pack is sleek enough that you don’t look like you’re headed to a college lecture but Nomatic clearly included function into the form. During my latest trip, I needed a bag I could use for an overnight stay away from the hotel where I was staying the other 6 nights and this one looked perfect. I was able to securely pack away my laptop, tablet,, keyboard, mouse, headphones, battery packs, charging cables, two changes of clothes, toiletries, meeting notes, a hardcover book, and a few snacks with plenty of room to spare. I can see getting a full weekend journey’s worth in it without too much trouble. Everything stayed in place throughout the trip. I was able to easily access what I call the technology pocket to get to my laptop and tablet without having to dig through all the other stuff. That area is padded and rests against your back when you wear it as a backpack so your tech is relatively well protected. On that same note, I got caught out in a driving rainstorm and can say Nomatic’s claims of being water resistant are on point. While I was soaked to the skin, everything in the bag stayed bone dry! There are carry handles on the top and both sides for when it isn’t necessary to sling it over your shoulder, and the backpack straps can be tucked away behind the back panel (which snaps into place keeping them secure) so they don’t just flop around when you don’t need them. The back panel also has a pass-through which allows you to slide it over the handle of a rolling suitcase which is a really handy feature in my book. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a hard case included with a soft fabric bag intended for carrying sunglasses and a built-in location for it. Having a crush resistant box is a big plus for delicate things like glasses. My only real dislike was the detachable waist strap. The pack really wasn’t heavy enough on this trip for it to be necessary, but I can see loading it down heavier in the future. My beef is the difficulty in getting the strap attached. It’s not easy and almost requires three hands to get it done. Not a huge issue but considering how well the rest of the pack works, I was surprised at the level of effort required for what should be a simple task. It’s not a necessary thing so I didn’t ding the rating for it but wanted to mention it for completeness. I have three more work trips coming up in the near future which would I would normally be dreading, but I’m actually looking forward to pulling out my Nomatic and getting it packed.

I love this bag with its compartments and protective sleeve for your laptop. I use some space bags to store even more stuff if my trip is longer. The additional accessories is a nice plus and useful. A real great item for short haul trips or trekking. Again love all the storage compartments, that is a real seller.
The product itself is built well, nice quality material and very durable.
