This was my impulse item when doing some shopping at Christmas. I had low expectations, as it was inexpensive, however has worked extremely well. The color matches my kitchen well, although I had not really thought where I was going to put it when not in use (ooops). Still looks great, and works very well, if you have the room for it, you should definetly get it. :)

Well there is a BIG difference in air popped popcorn and popcorn popped in oil!!! I think it is a temperature thing!!! It is good enough to eat everyday but if you really, really, reeeeeeeeally enjoy amazingly great popcorn I do not recommend getting a air popper of any type!!! I would recommend this product if you want to save a lot in cash and calories making popcorn!!! It will still save me about 4 dollars a week, and bonus is it has a lot less calories; depending what brand of kernels you get!!! But, it simply does not have the full all around snap you associate with great popcorn!!! It snaps at first bite but folds quickly in mouth, which I think most to all air popped popcorn does!!! In a pinch it is easier to make, cheaper, and is doable in taste!!! Just be forewarned if you never had air popped popcorn it is different!!! It definitely would taste 100 times better if I could put butter and some sea salt on it that is for sure but my diet won't allow it!!! All in all I am satisfied!!! There was no taste difference in the two brands of kernels I tried, only difference was the amount and size of popcorn in bowl, oh and un-popped kernels... Orville pops less kernels but is better in calories and Pop Secret popped more kernels and there was more in bowl but has more calories!!! It does spit out some kernels at start but is to be expected with popping without a cover over popping chamber of machine (where the popcorn pops out of!!!) If you have a circular bowl some of the popcorn and some of the kernels may fall to the outside of bowl but was so little in my case I just picked the popcorn up and put it back in bowl!!! A quick wipe around where bowl is placed for any other kernels and debris that falls out and you are good!!! Comes pretty much already assembled and has the easiest instruction I have ever read for an appliance!!! I do look forward to watching it pop out of machine every week (I make popcorn the start of every week for everyday of the week!!!) Just remember to let it cool for 15 minutes before making each batch!!! It does looks so cool coming out of machine, I feel like a kid again watching it!!! You may have to tip machine to get all popcorn out but instructions say you might have too!!! There will also be some popcorn in the popping chamber when done but just after it cools for fifteen minutes just take cover off and turn base over empty bowl!!! Easy cleaning, wipe with damp cloth and then dry off with dry cloth!!! Some Nutritional facts: Store bought "Simple Truth Low-Sodium" pre-popped popcorn in a bag 3-cups 110 calories 5g fat; "Pop Secret Jumbo 100% Natural" air popped popcorn 3-cups 72 calories .8g fat; Orville Original Yellow Popcorn air popped popcorn 3-cups 48 calories and .6g fat (yes that is a point before the 8 and the 6!!!) So, is a big difference depending what popcorn you get!!!

It's a fun and stylish retro popcorn popper. The air popper is nice for a theater room so you don't need oil (less mess) and easy clean up. It is a bit loud (sounds like a hair dryer) so you'll want to make sure the popcorn is made before the movie begins.

This is a nice unit. I had purchased another one at a different store and returned it right after trying it. This one pops really nice, doesn't burn the popcorn because this one has a nice big output slot so it doesn't get plugged up. I'm glad I got this one. Its also easy to clean up after use.

I purchased this because I was looking for a healthier way to make popcorn. I really like it and am happy with my purchase, but I have one complaint. If I am just making a smaller serving for just me, I get quite a few kernels that don't pop.

Makes light and fluffy popcorn however, some popcorn gets stuck behind the chute and you have to shake the unit once it is turned off in order to get out all the popped popcorn. I can say that it makes a batch of popcorn very quickly.

I like the design, but it is not as powerful as I expected, especially when pushing out the popcorn. I let it heat up as directed, then put the amount of popcorn in as instructed. It puts out part of the popcorn, but after the initial blast, it does not force out the remaining popcorn.

I got the item as a gift for my roommate. He enjoys using it and it works well. Looks like something from the 50's which is the best part.

This is a good popcorn maker for the price. Easy to use and clean. The only gripe we have is the popcorn tends to spray out of the hole a bit violently sometimes, missing the bowl and onto the floor. If they would provide a specific shaped bowl for the hole and charge $5 more it'd be fantastic! But that said, we love our popcorn maker.

This has to be the noisiest machine ever! The popcorn comes out just okay, but not really better than microwave popcorn, and the machine takes up too much counter space. Not worth it.

Pops kennels in minutes but not all of them. Grandkids loves to watch it pop the corn.
