Our hot dogs tasted great although the buns were hard to get right as stated in other reviews about this product, but still a pretty awesome gift idea. I was definitely pleased with this purchase.

Both my nephews love their hot dog and bun toaster machines. Toasting of the hot dog buns is sometimes inconsistent as it depends on the size and quality of the hot dog buns. Nice product!

This appliance does a nice job of cooking hot dogs. It is much better tasting than microwaving which creates uneaven hot spots and seems to make the dogs taste more salty. As others have commented, it can burn the buns. I typically like my dogs hot so I turn of the temperature control to cook the dogs and then grill the buns separately on a lower setting. I would have given it a 5 star rating if there hot dog holder had a wider range in size. It does hold most sized hot dogs but there are a few "fat" dogs that don't fit. Also the slide mechanism does not feel real solid (build quality is not great). Other than that that I recommend this device.

I bought this so kids can easily make hot dogs with toasted buns without having to turn on stove. Works fine. Could also use microwave for hot dog, but this is better for the buns

I love the portability of this item. Very quickly you can make yourself a hotdog meal with very little effort. Syncing the bun portion with the cooker takes some experimenting.

my daughter love it and feels like a "big girl" making dinner for us. i prefer grilled dogs, but she's quite a bit too young for that. so, until then, toaster dogs it is!

It great for a quick snack and groups the franks quickly . No mess and easy to clean

This toaster cooks a very tasty hotdog. The buns on the other hand tend to burn so I just toast the dogs. Clean up is easy.

Good product but if you cook the hot dogs and buns at the same time the bun gets burned. So it's best to cook the dogs first then add the buns and continue cooking

This item is great because it allows you to prepare more than one hot dog at once, both frank and buns simultaneously. Great in a pinch and very easy to use!

Quick and easy to use and makes 1 or 2 hotdogs with toasted buns easily every time.

I got this from my son for my birthday. I reacted with a "Hmm..." as I thought it was a gag gift. Turns out it is pretty great. The only thing I'd change is for the drip tray to be accessed from the front side, as it slides out from the back, but nevertheless, it works flawlessly. Setting the cook knob to 4.5, it gives the outside of the dog a nice "pop" when you bite into it. It toasts the rolls at the same time, but I remove the roll about halfway through with the included tongs. Way better than a microwave.

I love it. It's fast and easy. Great for a quick snack after school.

My husband loves it and uses it all the time. One downside is that the toaster slightly burns the buns.

I was most disappointed in this product. It was very inexpensive and cute but not only did it smoke every time I used it but the buns never toasted despite leaving them in there for 5 minutes. Has to throw away the product for a plastic electrical taste/smell. Additionally you can only use normal hot dogs in it as the jumbo dogs swell too big for the holder.

This is pretty cool for any hot dog lover. The buns will burn if you are not careful, overall pretty good gift idea for the price.

Hot dog holes work pretty good. Doesn't take very long either. The bun warmer/toaster doesn't work as well, but will warm the bun. Might toast the edges too or burn them. I like my buns soft anyway, so doesn't bother too much. I usually flip the hot dog over after letting it go on setting two and run setting two again.

I already had one - bought two for my sons - convenient, and I like the way the hot dogs are cooked and the buns toasted.
